I can't explain why, but I like it. Maybe it's because I wasn't going into it with high expectations so I can just enjoy it for what it is.

A mess. With a questionable storyline and too many characters (like how are the high school people even related to the college people? Did I miss something?).

But I can't help myself, the leads have chemistry, and while some of the acting isn't the best I find Sun and Nu adorable together. Like so adorable, each of them is so awkward and confident at the same time. A lot of their storyline is so stereotypical but I love them anyway, I just want them to be happy. Also ep 3 changed my opinion of Sun's friend gang, I love how they went and found camera footage for Nu so he could hear everything, they are supportive friends! Though a bit violent.

I get Chain is an idiot for getting with Sun's girl, but they're taking it a bit far. I'm waiting for more plot to explain this, but I'm not hopeful we'll get it. But that's ok, I'll watch for the mains and just enjoy this mess for what it is.

It was ok. I had dropped this a few weeks ago because I found it too boring, now that it's finished I wathched the rest, and it only went downhill. love vampire and supernatural series, and Joss and Gawin are good actors, so I had high hopes for this. It didn't live up to them, it was too straightforward and predictable, not enough drama and mystery for the series to feel complete.

And the last episode was the worst of the bunch, the predictable vampire and human love story solution we all knew would happen. I was surprised it didn't happen earlier, wouldn't that have solved all the problems? But then I guess there wouldn't have been a series because there was no secondary plot to this at all.

I'm starting to wonder if GMMTV has taken on too much. They've expanded their roster so much and put forward so many potential series, that look good in the trailers, but if this is the quality of storyline we can expect I'll be skipping a lot.

I finally got to this on my watchlist, and I wish I had watched it sooner! There were a couple things I didnt like, and I wasn't a fan of Su Hyeon, but it was really, really good. A lot of plot twists, nothing seemed to go as I expected it to, I was constantly engaged. If you haven't watched yet its a good show, just set aside your whole day because you won't be able to stop until you finish.

Amazing series. We all need a whatevership like Saint and Shin have with each other. No matter if you believe it's romance or friendship, they have it. Whatever it is, I felt all the emotions as it progressed, and I loved their chemistry. I also then felt lonely and ripped off by life that I don't have a person like this. And series/actors don't often hit me as genuine/realistic enough to make comparisons to my life.

I like that they didn't do this as a BL and made it friendship based. Yes, I see it, we all see it, but that they didn't actually turn it into a BL made the show better, I think. In BL's (or most romance based series), the main plot is the romance, and other things often get left out or rushed in the overall plot as the focus is on the couples. Yes, in HSF, there was a lot of focus on the relationship between Saint and Shin but because it didn't cross into the extra that comes with a love pairing (jealousy, insecurity, gay panic, homophobic parents, and constant misunderstandings/ misinterpretations), the relationship between the two didn't take over the whole series. All that romance stuff is very air time consuming.

I got to watch a well-rounded, well cast, well acted, well written action-drama-coming of age series with minimal stereotypes, cringe, loose ends, or plot holes. Big win, in my opinion. Besides, leaving them as friends makes it perfect to make a second season, and make that BL. Right? That's my wish!

I don't know what to think at all!! Jae Min is obviously nuts, and Seong Hyeon is the good guy who I should like, but why is a part of me rooting for Su Hyeon? He loves Da On and was manipulated by Jae Min in college and lost his chance. Sure he needs anger management but I want him to be redeemable, or at least see the error of his stalking and threatening ways and be friends with Da On in the end.

It's a cute story and I liked it, I just wish there was more details. Like many kbl's with the short run time…
As a side note Kang Jae didn't want to act anymore, admitted to Ji Woo that it wasn't his dream, but Ji Woo said do it anyway, for your fans, and especially for him. That made me angry. It's like Ji Woo would rather be a fan than a boyfriend, or only be his boyfriend if he's an actor. I really hated that response and I feel like it plays into some toxic fan attitudes present within the idol/fan parasocial relationship.

It's a cute story and I liked it, I just wish there was more details. Like many kbl's with the short run time and only 8 eps how the story progressed had me feeling like how did we get here, like it was a summary rather than a full drama kind of. That's the best way I can describe how the series felt to me but I still recommend it!

It's ok. Cute idea but not well executed. The mains didn't fit, they didn't have great chemistry and I don't feel either one suited their characters.

Really good watch. TayNew chemistry is great as always, and Jan has always been one of my favourites. It's funny without being cringe and I usually struggle with cringe in Thai comedys, it has great guest spots, a good mystery element, and I think it's plot hole free. At least nothing stood out that left unfinished or forgotten. There were a few things that felt obvious and some stuff felt rushed, but overall I definitely recommend this.
On The Heart Killers Feb 19, 2025
It is a decent series that had the potential to be a lot better. I love the actors and had high hopes, but it was rushed, especially the last couple of episodes. There was so much more that could have been explored had this been a 14 or 16 ep series. Too many loose ends for me and the final episode was downright ridiculous to me. I had such high hopes for this series and it just didnt meet them. I still recommend watching though. The characters themselves were not explored enough, especially Kant and Style, but I loved the chemistry between all 4 leads and there relationships to eachother. And the series had an amazing soundtrack, like one of the best I've heard in any series.

I saw this getting a lot of negativity in the comments, so I put off watching it. I finally watched it, and I think the negative comments are off base.

The series focuses a lot on the characters relationships with each other, and there's not a whole lot of relationship drama and angst, like one of the leads chasing, or not admitting feelings, so I quite liked it. Yes, there were factors that put relationships to the test and some common I'll leave you for your own good stuff kind of stuff, but overall the realtionship felt real, like they were people not characters, like they were mostly mature adults dealing with stuff the best they could. I watch so many shows where the whole series is just waiting for the main couple to get on the same page, to get together, admit their feelings or whatever, so this NOT being like that made it an enjoyable series.

I see some comments about wanting to see more about the criminal storyline and delving into that, but I didn't feel that was the point of the series. The series wasn't about the criminal enterprise Yada was running, the series was about a couple. They met because of the kidnap element, and the ongoing criminal subplot kept impacting their lives, but the drama was about how they cope with it, and all the other external factors, and build their relationship. I don't know if I explained that very well, but those are my thoughts!

I also liked the pairing of Ohm and Leng, they had chemistry and looked good together, and yes Ohm is a better actor, but I didn't feel that Leng was as bad as the comments are saying, he's pretty good. It's a tough role, playing someone with past trauma, AND going through dramatic, dangerous situations in his present life, AND falling in love AND building other relationships - Mehn, James, Jeen, AND repairing his own family dynamic, AND changing himself to be better for those around him. This character had a lot of depth, and though it may not have been a perfect portrayal, Leng did bring the character to life for me.

I think a lot of viewers expect GMMTV series to be a certain way, easy plots and easy watching, with almost repetetive formulas for a BL series. In this series, I felt like GMMTV was trying to create deeper characters and not fall back on BL tropes to carry the series. It wasn't as dramatic or over the top as a lot of BLs are, I don't think I had to fast forward any viewer cringe embarrassing moments in this series. I noticed last year that GMMTV seemed to be changing their formula, the productions were better for most series, whereas before they had a few that stood out but the rest were repetitive and forgetable, and were just put out for the pairings so the fans got their fix. But that's just my thoughts and opinions.

Also, was I the only one who was secretly hoping for a surprise Khacha and Suea romance at the end?

The theme of the comments is we, collectively, do not like the continued HillTer storyline. Its dragging out too long, the chemistry between the actors is lacking, and Ter as a character is annoying with the constant shyness and hesitation of physical romance. Rate it 10/10 anyway!!! On every platform!!!

I just started reading the third book, and listen, we need the 2nd season of this, we need the FahPhoon story. No spoilers but if you've read it you know, if you havent, trust me. As much as I love JohanNorth, especially after reading their book, FahPhoon will be better.

I've read that they are filming it, but that doesn't always mean it's guaranteed to air, and we need it so much! If the production doesn't screw it up by changing too much (this is already a concern seeing how Phoon has been portrayed as a side character), and if the actors (Tonliew in particular) can pull it off, the FahPhoon story could be a bl series drama masterpiece, in my opinion.

I feel like I'm being dramatic here? But honestly the third book is giving me all the feels, I'm 1/4 into it and I am so invested, I'll cry lots if their story doesn't get to air.

SO MAS IS ALIVE.I was confused when Khen was revealed to be the ghost all along - I thought well isn't Mas one…
My question is how did Khen not notice Mas's heartbeat before? Especially during their together times, surely Ms was worked up and exerting himself, then Mas's heart should beat faster right? 😂

Okay, so is it good or not?? I am planning to start it this week, so I can catch up with the final ep. And usually…
Wait until it's done, then watch. I love it and think it's a great story. However, the pacing can be slow, and sometimes the acting isn't the best. Every week I get so impatient for the next episode, I kind of wish I waited to binge watch.

I don't know how you feel about spoilers, but I spoiled it for myself early on, and I think if I didn't know the twist it would be confusing and I wouldn't like it as much. There is still a confusing element driving me crazy, but looking back, if I didn't know the main one, I feel like the series wouldn't make as much sense.

They STILL haven't explained how Khen's ghost is traveling to the past. It's driving me nuts! My theory after todays episode is because he was holding the book about the house/family when he died his spirit attached itself to the history or something. I don't know, it's an incomplete theory. Maybe it also has something to do with Khen buying Mas's toy in the first episode, like his soul was already feeling a connection, a red thread kind of situation.

And Sompoh/Kampuan ghost was also in Khen's ghostly present and in the past with Mas, so I'm wondering if she has something to do with bringing Khen back in time. she knew that Mas could see ghosts and now she had a ghost to bring him to get help since she didn't want to go to Mas herself again because he hurt himself when he first saw her, maybe that's why she kept wrapping Khen up, not to hurt him/his spirit but to bring him back to the past.

I wish this series was getting more attention and praise, I think it's really good! The acting isn't the best, but it's ok, they are new and will get better with experience, and the story is keeping me so hooked!

ok i actually would have been ok with that one ending with one episode. the second one broke me, even though i…
I thought it was like those two were actors playing Ping and X. Like Top and Mick were playing Pun and whoever, who were then playing Ping and X. And then the guy asking Pun out was to try and give us something to cling to after that emotional devastation. Like "see not real just actors, the real story is the actors getting together happily, surprise."

I know episode 3 gave the hints it would end this way, but I was not prepared! I just sobbed for an hour. My eyes are swollen and raw feeling. Like damn why did you have to do that to us 😭.
It must have been just as hard for them to film this, though, and they did an amazing job. They gave these two episodes everything they had, and it's paying off in a real and captivating performance.
