Also Mas is Kampuan's reincarnation right? Is that what the neck scar means? And Sompoh why couldn't she just speak up 😠that she was doing it because she loved Kampuan ðŸ˜. Is Mas sick because like his energy is keeping Khen's ghost around or like corporeal or something? I can't wait for the rest of the episodes.
I am enjoying this series a lot! It's finally picking up in pace, and the mysteries are unraveling. I spoiled the plot twist for myself because I am impatient, but I think knowing that twist makes the series better for me because I understand it more. The only part that is still confusing me is how did Khen end up in Mas's time? Like ghosts connected to the house sure, no problem, but the time travel is confusing me.
It's now 4 episodes in, and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!! This is painful at this point. None of the side couples have even met yet, and we still don't know what went down with Hill and Ter in the past.
I was already on the fence to even watch this drama because I'm so sick of Earth playing the same role over and over, and now it's proving to be a very slow paced and pretty boring series to me. I am dropping, and maybe once it's all finished, I will pick up. Right now, I just feel extreme impatience watching this.
Why was it pulled off youtube? I went to watch the last episode to see how it was different from the uncut, which I watched on iqiyi, but the whole series is gone.
Overall, I liked it. I just had to adjust my expectations and take it for what it was, not what it coukd gave been. The first half was kind of bad, but I feel like it did improve. They either needed to make this series shorter and speed up the pace by cutting some side storylines, or longer and give a more complete series with more time for side characters and day to day life kind of stuff.
The ending of the series felt sudden. It finally got better and now it's over? They time jumped from the day after the wedding to the 5yes of wonder press thing, didn't really show the end of The Villain's Strategy Guide, except for Ob-un quoting it to Shan, and the third couple came back out of no where with no explanation or screen time. It just felt incomplete.
I'm blaming the editing and direction of the series. I think most of the actors were good and portrayed what they were given to work with. Tutor and Yim, especially Yim, have improved so much and I really hope we get another series of them, and please don't have Yim's character be shy/comedy coded. I would love to see them in a drama, something woth a more serious storyline.
On a side note, do you think the actors are told up front how spicy things will get? Because damn their commitment to spicy scenes took me by surprise!
This was such a good episode! The mains did an amazing job with this story. They said so much without words, they really showed their skills and it felt so natural. And Mick was just too cute.
I think part comes from the difference between the cut and uncut versions, and the first few episodes were kind…
Both have bad editing 💀 but at least the uncut gives you more of a reason to watch 🥵. They have those scenes, and there are a few expanded non spicy scenes that provide context in some episodes, but mostly, the uncut is the same.
Just finished a rewatch of this and I like it better the 2nd time around. I think because I viewed this first as a spin off from Cutie Pie and second as we were getting a MaxNat focused series I didn't pay enough attention to the rest of the series. I liked Diao's growth and the story was a good combination of fun (the running/chasing the Kuea/Diao and Yi/Lian ridiculousness) and serious (the event and history that brought Yi and Diao together).
But the stars of the show after my rewatch? Makorn (Yi's father), and Aon (Yi's assistant). I can't wait to watch Est as a main in a series, his facial expressions and how he can convey so much with the most minute changes in expression impressed and entertained me in Naughty Babe.
I would love a prequel to this to see how this setting came about. With Makorn as the focus of the story, how he was made into who we see in Naughty Babe. From losing Yi's mom, the accident with Diao, his business empire he's raising Yi to take over, and his dealings with Diao's family that made them so intertwined. Also to see how the event impacted Yi and Diao as kids, seeing as they both grew up with nightmares and trauma, I'm curious how it shaped their lives as they grew up. Makorn's adoration of Diao is so cute and wholesome, but I would love that backstory, because it can't just be guilt that got him there. He seems so willing to put up with Diao's family because they got Diao out of the deal, like why/when/how did Diao become so important to him? Also Makorn's antics with Yi are hilarious, I'm curious to see what a father-son relationship looked liked for them when Yi was growing up. But it has to be played by the same actor, Jab did an amazing job as Makorn in this series, and then maybe like a last episode present day cameo of Yi and Diao to get MaxNat in there!
Why is there so much hate for this, I find it to be really enjoyable with a little spice and cuteness. I also…
I think part comes from the difference between the cut and uncut versions, and the first few episodes were kind of random feeling and people dropped it before it came together. For me it's a good show. I like the actors and their characters, I like the plot, I'm not a fan of the editing, in my opinion it's what made the show seem so all over and hard to follow at first. But it did get better after episode 5/6 somewhere in there.
hello there, im late to the game. i would like to watch this series but its not showing on the IQIYI site. and…
It'a only on iqiyi in Thailand. If you have a vpn you can watch it on iqiyi in an incognito window, that's how I am doing it. I did have to get a 2nd iqiyi account, but if you scroll through the comments to where I finally got it working you should find another user that got it to work with just the vpn and incognito, not needing a 2nd iqiyi account. It does have emglish subtitles, and is much better than the cut version on youtube.
I feel like the show has gotten a lot better the last couple of episodes. The storyline came together, 2nd couple finally got screen time (though I'm curious about how they will wrap up the 3rd couple in the final ep), Ozone stopped being annoying, and Ob-un and Shan are finally drama free.
I started off with mixed feelings, especially about the split between real and novel worlds, and I'm still not a fan of the novel world so much, but I have come to really enjoy this series. In my opinion the editing was this series' worst enemy. Even this episode which was one of my favourites (no 11th episode curse, thank you), felt slightly out of order, though not as bad as some of the others.
I just cannot with these characters. Pat is being so dumb; he must have low self esteem or something to constantly go back to this guy without then having one proper conversation. Elyes had a more honest conversation with Pat's friends than he had with Pat.
The "I've been hurt I'm scared to tell Pat what I feel and what happened in the past" got old so fast. Every episode feels like a repeat. Ellis does something to hurt Pat, Pat decides no more, Elyse panics and bullies Pat into meeting with him, Elyse says just enough nice things but never the truth or the whole story, Pat gives in.
Like last ep when he deleted the list but said he'd still meet Kim and has Pat make the arrangements, he knows that makes Pat feel bad, but it's like he's testing him or something. He must know Pat quit because he went to Kim, so why doesn't he just say he's not sleeping with Kim anymore???
And jeez Pat stand up for yourself and stop giving in. They are both red flags at this point. Ok rant over. I just hope the story starts moving faster.
I'm glad this week was just Mas and Khen, no other characters. It was a cute episode, but I'm sure we're coming…
So I know Khen is dead but doesn't know it yet, and he's stuck to the house until hr realises and can move on. I don't really know how he's stuck to the house when he didn't die at the house, but seeing as there is at least one other spirit there (other than Khen and his friends), the lady, I'm guessing the house is just aghost hotspot or something. Being a ghost in the haunted house allows Khen's spirit to travel to Mas' time, where the living ghost seeing Mas can see and interact with him. The part I don't get is Mas being alive and going to Khen's world. I think he's not, I think the scenes where Mas is in Khen's time is either in Khen's head and Mas isn't actually there, or the spooky haunted house is letting Khen's ghost like create a version of his world to show Mas, but Mas never actually leaves his own time/world. Khen going back to Mas in the past is real but Khen's present time/world isn't real, that's my current theory on the time period shifting.
I'm glad this week was just Mas and Khen, no other characters. It was a cute episode, but I'm sure we're coming into the realisations sequence soon, and things will get heart-wrenching. I know the one big spoiler but I don't understand the back and forth between the time periods. If anyone has read the book please tell me what's going on with that. I do have a theory, kind of.
