Well, Japanese could care less about what Western viewers think since the drama has been winning awards here and there and sales of goods (like DVD, etc.) are always high in Japan and other parts of Asia 😂

Sorry to jump in the convo but I'm kind of surprised and find it interesting that you know some Japanese people who found their relationship "toxic". I've been stalking the Japanese UtsuKare tag in Twitter for more than a year already and I think I've never seen a tweet saying that. 😳 Almost all the JP tweets I've seen are just gushing over "tsundere uke Kiyoi" and "kimoi seme Hira" lol 😂

Please, people who didn't like the first season should just leave the second season alone. 😂 Already tired of reading comments from people who obviously missed the point of the drama. 😂

Based on some fans' theories, it seems they have already started filming (mostly because of Yusei's current hair, and also he mentioned in the SDA event around 2 weeks ago that they'll start filming soon). 👀 It'd be great if the movie will finally be released next spring (specifically on April 8 as it's an important day lol)!!!

I think most people who find it "cringe" (is this how others describe it now? It used to be called "toxic" before lol) are either those who are not used to watching Japanese dramas or those who didn't understand the story/characters (could be both haha!).

I think it's gonna be a while before they start filming for the movie... if the scriptwriter is talking about the UtsuKare movie in her recent tweets, it means she probably just finished writing the script yesterday lol
And it seems Riku has just started filming for a new project (not sure if drama or movie, but his manager said that it's for a still unannounced work)... I sure do hope they start filming soon so we can see new HiraKiyo contents again! <3

Just wanted to mention that no need to feel bad for the actors since they won an award for this and also gained huge following in Japan (and mostly China too) after the series ended. They're also very much looking forward to starting filming the movie sequel ☺️

It's a sequel to the series, will most likely follow the plot of the second novel.

Second episode is much better and funnier than the first one, I'm relieved XD

I guess since they're clones of warlords, their physical appearance doesn't really matter hahaha! All of them are supposedly 15 years old XD

After ep8, I'm even more convinced that Ichika will not end up with anyone... I think because the drama needs her platonic connection with Chikumagawa the center of the story until the end lol.
