Title Sapai Import
OMG please anyone help me move on from this drama! Can you suggest me any dramas with similar vibes like Sapai…
For me, this & Jao Sao Jum Yorm (2018) are my favourite Thai Dramas. "Jao Sao Jum Yorm" is another Mik drama and the romance is adorable. They get together very quickly and other than one misunderstanding (which lasts 10 minutes), they never break up.

I get where you are coming from but the things you mentioned are not new to thai lakorns. Although it is a taboo…
I know your comment is two years ago, but I think you are overstating P'Nat's humiliation because her husband had a mistress. I think you are projecting a cultural bias a bit. I do not mean that in a negative way, just that yes, If P'Nat was European, American (North or South), Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc you would be right. But she is not, she is Thai. Mistresses are very common there, so common that they are often called "second wives".

But the romance line is still good. There is no over dramatic misunderstandings between the couple like they do…
I know you have watched a lot of Thai dramas so I am wondering, is the "no kissing" an issue with ChingChing (the actress)? I have watched "Jao Sao Chang Yon" and it had a mixture of real kisses and fake kisses. "Jao Sao Chang Yon" had a lot of issues but I liked ChingChing in it (and ended up liking the romance too) and was thinking about trying this one out.

I usually drop lakorns on my watchlist. Yes, I am very meticulous with regards to plot, characters and their acting…
When are these "adorable scenes" between the leads? I am on episode 3 and so far I feel the male lead has the charisma of an unearthed rock. The fl has had much less interactions with the 2ml so far, but her chemistry with him is a lot better than anyone has with the ML. Also, as someone who grew up in an abusive environment, I detest her mother just as much as her father.

Like you I am really picky in regards to Thai Dramas, but I am just not feeling this one and think of dropping it. It just feels a bit dull and boring.

Dropped. They could have used her ghost seeing powers better into the story. Also, the ML is slightly toxic. He's…
I really disliked that the FL was shown as a clever wordly woman BUT she can not recognize a guy trying to pick her up as a prostitute thus needing her to be "saved". I found the mother unlikeable. I consider her just as guilty of her husband's abuse of his children/grand-children as he is.

I have just started episode 1, and all the inter-personal relationships are vague. Thai dramas are often vague about the relationships between characters, but just the first episode of this drama is full of vagueness (unless it is the subtitles).

Did the female lead really just offer to sleep with Aik and become his mistress because "she respected him" & was "grateful to him" even though she knew he was getting married? So the synopsis above is wrong and the ML did NOT misunderstand the relationship.

And for a change the female lead is actually not an idiot, EXCEPT when the male lead is nearby. Then you can expect her to become a grade a moron. Like at a bus stop a man propositions two prostitutes next to her, then calls her over and she has no idea what he wants. Just so the male lead can drive by, and see it.

Btw when will the FL stop associating herself with Aikk? I'm so annoyed by her reason everytime because she has…
I am just watching the 1st episode and most of the relationships are a bit confusing (maybe it is the subtitles).

So just from the first episode, I think the FL IS Aik's girlfriend (but not consummated) and when he announces he has a fiance she agree's to sleep with him and become his mistress because she "loves and respects him" and is "grateful to him". So I am expecting her to be associating with Aikk (I am actually surprised he is not the second lead).

The male lead is just as much a villain here as the 2FL. If he had thought of the same plans as the 2FL I am pretty sure he would have acted on them.

But like is always the case on kisskh he will get a past because he is good looking.

I am at episoe 8 right now and basicaly agree with #Onelovestorie in general. Whether Ploy is more stunning than…
I cannot take "Onelovestorie" review seriously after she said Kluay/Mook looked "whiter" than Ploy, considering Ploy/Carissa has a very European facial structure and certainly looks a lot more European than Mook/Kluay. And he/she says it does not bother that Kluay was supposed to be more beautiful yet devoted an entire paragraph to mentioning her issue with it.

Not sure if you started or not, but as a fellow swimmer I can confirm that they know what they're doing (at least…
I thought IronMan does not care what type of swimming you do ?(I am guessing that is what your IM stands for). IM is swimming, running and biking.

I really like this BUT the voice actress they have for the female lead takes a lot of getting used to (I hope that is not the real actress' voice). She sounds like she thought the character was supposed to be 5 years old.

Aah. Another Chinese Drama where a female student has to be a maid for a male student. What is it with Chinese schools where female students are having to be maids to the male students. Even Janice Wu can't really save her character here and I feel she knows it and is just going through the motions.

What is with 2020. Ireine Song is playing a good character in a drama whilst Janice Wu is playing a meh one. It feels like a bizarro timeline.

Try love is so sweet, it quite similar degree of sweetness
avoid "Love Is Sweet" if possible. The love in that is anything but sweet. It is creep, icky and stalkerish. The Male Lead pays the female lead's landlord to kick her out then manipulates her so she unknowingly moves into his apartment. The male lead is the same sort of trash as the male lead in "I love my boss but he's a psycho"

The main character is a jerk who never really becomes not a jerk. Adam is a great character but he never really feels more than a supporting character. And the female lead is a very cute funny character (I love her personality switches) but really she is actually a supporting character 4th down the list. The computer geek best friend has a larger role than she does.

I finished Season 2 and after a few episodes in, I didn't mind the actor changes. Mike definitely makes up for…
Janice Wu and her character carries Season 1, and Esther does a good job of making Tian Jing Zhi (the character) feel the same as Janice Wu's version BUT she cannot carry Season 2 in the same way Janice Wu did, just because "Tian Jing Zhi" the character is often sidelined. It often feels like they are less committed to making "My Amazing Boyfriend Season 2" and more interested in making Chinese "Twilight". So we are left with a show that drags and drags and drags because they are more focused on the monster stuff and less on the character stuff and the most dynamic character has been sidelined.

Don't think that the point since they decided to make the second season later it probably has more to do with…
Well the male lead did not return because China was boycotting Korea at that time due to a new defence plan they signed with the US. Janice didn't return because of scheduling though.

Do I have to watch the 1season to understand this one? Since there are new actors? Or can I watch it alone?
Season 1, is the far superior season, so you should watch it anyway

So... after a year of putting this off, I finally started to watch this. I've only watched up to Ep. 5 and the…
I think Esther did a good job of making the character feel much the same as Janice Wu's version of the character even if the cast change is jarring at the start. I agree that Tian Jing Zhi (the Female Lead) IS the central character carrying the show, so it is annoying that she has been sidelined to concentrate more on the monster mythology). Without Tian Jing Zhi as the central focus, this just devolves into Chinese "Twilight".

I miss Xuan Xuan from the first season, I thought she was a great character for the female lead to bounce off and am annoyed that the character they kept from season one instead was my least liked one (the cop). So they kept the most annoying character from season 1 (the cop) and introduced a second even more annoying character in season 2 to be the 2ML.

I could do without Yun Zhen, The character was just annoying in EVERY scene he was in. Easily the worst part of Season 2, which also really hurts season 2 since he is such a major part of it.

on the forum i read something about the site clearing out fake accounts and so on apparently there was/is a problem…
A 7+ show should be good. Anyone who refuses to try a 7+ drama because of the rating is an idiot. I have noticed a tendency for Americans (it happens in video games too) to think anything below an 8 in a 10 point metric is trash.
