The ending is that she ends up with future ml and past ml disappears. People are upset because they consider them two separate people. I have noticed this strange belief on kisskh with a lot of timetravel shows, so I wonder if people here actually understand the concept of a past self turning into the future self. This is so logical to me it is bewildering that so many on kisskh seem to not grasp it.
Just finished ep 6 and idk if I should continue. Like why does she go against him all the time when there is no…
eh. He is untrustworthy, that is why she mistrusts him. How can you be up to episode 6 and think he is a trustworthy person? FFS, by episode three you can tell he is not very trustworthy. There is every reason to mistrust him. FFS, when she first had a conversation with each version of him (both past him AND future him) he tried to gaslight her. I just cannot understand where you are getting the idea he was any sort of trustworthy in these early episodes.
Re-watching this rn and I forgot that this was the longest drama I've ever watched! Pros of re-watching is that…
The issue for me with the other siblings storylines is that there was always one in the romantic pair I really disliked. I adored Puff Kuo's character but was really annoyed by Ken Hseih's (Wei Cheng) - He was just icky. I somewhat liked Jennifer Hong's character (Yan Ni) but detested Chris Lee's (Ke Fan) - He had a severe case of an inferiority complex in regards to his wife. Every time Ke Fan was on screen it just dragged down the entire scene. Whilst with the main lead pair (Annie Chen & Chris Wang), both were equally likeable even if they both did stupid things at times.
The 2ml is bloody annoying. He has a very punchable face. Pity he seems to be endgame for Ying Ying. Can't help but see his snarly disapproval of her slowly draining away her feisty energy after they are married.
In what way was the female lead selfish & entitled? And in what way was the male lead not (since your post is…
Are you an American? Because I do not understand how she could negotiate at home. A guy buys her apartment, moves in and tries multiple times to evict her illegally. That sort of thing may fly in places without good tenancy laws like the USA, but most places he would be considered breaking the law.
Does the male lead ever stop lying? It seems he lies constantly. Even when caught in a lie he will spin it by admitting one small speck of truth whilst doubling down on the lie.
This drama was pretty good in the beginning and approaching half way I even ignored characters talking aloud about…
Characters talking to themselves about their secrets so they can be overheard is so common in Chinese dramas you just have to ignore the obvious plot device. At least the Koreans have their characters being overheard when characters are talking to other characters.
I never know if it is Tiffany Tang the actress or the characters she plays that I find annoying. Maybe its both. I have never seen her in anything where I am not annoyed by her/her character.
The male lead is just as bad. I gave up after the first episode.
Such a HUGE difference between this drama and Princess at Large 2 ---the ML/FL lips never touched each other in…
I could not even make it past the first 20 minutes of the the first episode of the first season of Princess at Large. The fact you could endure it for two seasons is impressive lol
That is incredibly believable though. Overcoming childhood self-defence mechanisms is hard, especially so if you…
Both her lying and her passivity were self defence mechanisms that came from her childhood (as a way to deal with her Aunt and Cousin). Childhood self defence mechanisms are almost always incredibly annoying in adults, [a] because they are incredibly embedded into the psyche, and [b] they are not made by adults, they are made by children (usually out of long-term trauma) who do not know any other way to protect themselves.
I love the main couple here, but I totally understand why it is so hard for the female lead to overcome her childhood defence mechanisms even if it is frustrating. I usually do not like female leads who get passive with villains, but here since they offered some background why she is passive with them, it just does not bother me too much.
I love the OTP chemistry and ML is boyfriend material. Such a sweetheart and I was really enjoying the drama but…
That is incredibly believable though. Overcoming childhood self-defence mechanisms is hard, especially so if you are overcoming those self-defence mechanisms in relation to the people they were created to deal with in the first place.
Oh pleaseeeee not this French... please...noooo..... Only at 1st episode and I am already triggered. Frnch speaking…
lol. Bad french is at least a rarity in Korean & Chinese dramas. Bad English on the other hand appears in almost all (at least Thai & Taiwanese dramas have good English speakers). In Korean drama everyone speaks bad American no matter whether they are from or studied. Australian, British, Italian, Spanish all bad American accents. And there was one drama (forget if it was Korean or Chinese) where everyone spoke strange German/East European accents even though they were supposed to be from England and the US lol.
hmm at least it is not just the female lead who is a moron here, the male lead is just as mentally deficient. Though the female lead is another in the annoying trope of being feisty with the male lead but ultra passive with the villainous 2fl.
This is not good. It should not even be a 6+ rating let alone a 7+ rating. I watched this purely for Veronica Park (Kim Jae Kyung) and sadly she feels like the only one putting the work in. I would give her a 7 for her performance here, but everything else, including the male lead gets a 4.
Honestly that was the saving grace for this show. The plot was horribly done and kind of sloppy if we did not…
oh yeah. The leads (and their assistants) are pretty much the only likeable characters. BUT the leads (and their romance) do manage to carry the show imo. They are one of my favourite couples ever.
I have just finished watching episode 1 of this Thai drama and I have many questions. (1) Why is the FL getting…
The first episode is a mess and does not really reflect the drama. So I will try to answer your questions.
(1) she is doing that because she has a very strained relationship with her father, and they are eloping. (2) The ML already knew of the pregnancy. She is a childhood friend and he was marrying her to help her. Her lover has an insane mum and will never accept her as a DIL, so she had broken up with her lover without telling him about the baby. (3) They are not at both weddings, it is just that both weddings are happening at the same place. And only one is a real wedding; the FL's wedding is more an elopement style wedding.
I love this drama. The leads are wonderful together. Once they get together they pretty much never break up. There is no serious love triangle and they are very supportive of each other. The male lead is commited and though the FL has a bit of an issue admitting she loves the male lead, it is obvious that she does and it becomes a bit of a game for them (though some may find this frustrating). They also never try to hurt each other emotionally or fall into noble idiocy.
The same cannot be said of the secondary couple though. They are frustrating and to be honest, rather selfish and unlikeable. The villain is icky but pretty ineffective. But you do not watch this for the secondary couple or the villain, you watch it for the main couple's romance.
Aaand this is how some men get framed for rape, some woman have buyers remorse the next day.... She slaps him…
This is my favourite Thai drama BECAUSE it is not a slap kiss. The first episode is a bit misleading. The romance is so sweet between them and they pretty much never break up (except for one brief misunderstanding that lasts about 10 minutes). They also do not try to deliberately hurt each other emotionally (and that slap in the first episode is the only time it happens). The male lead is so respectful towards her (which is bloody rare in a Thai drama). He even knocks and asks permission to enter the bathroom when she has an accident in there. And though she leads him on a fair bit, it is obvious that she starts to love him fairly quickly (she just does not want to admit it). There is no love triangles.
BUT, this is a drama where you watch only for the romance between the leads. Everyone else is unlikeable pretty much. The secondary couple are annoying and rather selfish. The villain is icky but rather ineffective. The leads and their romance carry the show.
This is a great romance and I think you are missing out if you judge it purely on the first episode.
