Is this angsty? it like likes it would be angsty..
There is angst, but it is not extreme and it is not angst caused by some sort of love triangle, just misunderstandings. The romance of the two leads is delightful.

Title Flower, I Am! Spoiler
This is NOT a good drama, but I ended up liking it despite it's many flaws. All of the characters (and their actions) are constantly frustrating. Watching it can be a test of endurance. And some decisions are downright bizarre (CEO is a self-made millionaire who built his business from scratch, then decides to give it [business/money/house/car] all away so he can start again from scratch in building a business).

Yet despite all these issues I did like the romance between the two leads. Even though their constant break ups was bloody annoying, it was always sweet when they got back together.

This drama is great. The character development and the depiction of mental illness is great. Masterpiece!!
I am sorry, but the depiction of mental illness was terrible. It was used solely as an excuse for someone's terrible behaviour. That person would do nasty shit, have no remorse, get caught, then throw a crying fit only because they were caught.

8/10. I thought the chemistry between Chae Rim and Lee Jong Hyuk was terrific, and they both excellent performances.…
I thought Lee Jong Hyuk (and the section chief) were the only likeable characters, but thought the "chemistry between Chae Rim & Lee Jong Hyuk was non-existent. I did not like Chae Rim's character or Lee Jin Wook's character, but they did have decent chemistry.

Title Powerful Opponents Spoiler
I very much enjoyed "Oh My Lady" & "Dalja's Spring". But Chae Rim's character in this is not very likeable and that is a bit of an issue because I watched this for the romance and the male lead is not likeable either. In fact the vast majority of the characters in this are not very likeable including the families of the two leads. Even the little girl is annoying. The only likeable character is the 2ml "Lee Jong Hyuk" and even he eventually becomes annoying.

The romance itself is frustrating. It is one big love triangle stretched out for the entire series. The male lead & the female lead are not very likeable (though you start to understand the male lead. And the 2ml, though much more likeable, has zero chemistry with the female lead. In fact despite them being unlikeable the two leads did have a certain charisma together. Which is why it is bloody annoying that the romance was so lackluster, and the triangle never resolved. It just finishes.

A 7+ rating is way too high, this should be a 6.

Title Sm:)e
I would say the romance of the tiger and rose might fall under the category of a cute male lead and a smart female…
Parallel Love has a terrible first episode, but gets much better, though never great. "Night of the Comet 2" & "Way Back into Love" are two of my favourites. All of them you can tell if you are going to like them in the first 3 or 4 episodes.

Since you also posted on "Princess at Large", though I am not usually a fan of historicals but I liked "Fake Princess" because of the smart/sneaky female lead.

This version is ok, but for the first time I prefer the Chinese remake. This is very different from the Chinese remake. In fact I would not even call the Chinese version a remake.

I like it so far but the FL is soooooooooooooo clumsy. That's a degree of klutzy clueless that should have killed…
Her Clumsyness does not really bother me. It is not really too exaggerated. I am also naturally clumsy and certain things really trip me up like a set of stairs not all being the same height and/or depth, or the ground being slightly uneven but looking flat (I tend to walk with slightly weight on the side of my foot so a slight dip in the walking surface can make it real easy to twist my ankle).

I think "doing something interesting" is a bit meaningless when the female lead is yet another naive stupid woman.…
"Boss & Me" is one of my absolute favourite romcoms; and the female lead is one of my favourite characters and it is fair to say she starts as one of the dumbest characters (to this day I believe she fell in love with the male lead because he manipulated her into thinking she was). So I am not against dumb characters, but it does get tiring.

Thanks for the recommendations (I loved Wan Ping in "My Boyfriend is an Alien", so I will definitely give that ago. I tried the first episode of "My Love Enlighten You" a while ago but was so put off by that male lead that I gave up after the first episode. But if the female lead is as great as you say, I will give it another chance

If you are interested, A couple of other smart female leads are "Parallel Love", "Night of the Comet 2" & "Fake Princess"

You said exactly the same I was thinking. I'm in episode 26 and it's starting to get boring and I'm starting to…
I really liked Eternal Love until the female lead did something that really did not make sense for her character. And it really affected my liking of her. At least YunXi only made me frustrated with her stupidity.

Sad ending? Did the ML die?
It is just an extra episode, so basically choose which you want to be your ending.

I think "doing something interesting" is a bit meaningless when the female lead is yet another naive stupid woman.…
I quite like Chinese Romcoms, but I am getting really tired of the female leads being stupid pushovers. I have only watched the first four episodes of this (that is all I can find subbed), and I like the concept. Usually most female leads I find myself liking (more than the male lead) despite them not being smart, but here the female lead does not really seem to have any other traits so it is hard to connect to her. I guess it is a side-product of her amnesia storyline so all we have left is the "not smart", & the "easily manipulated/bullied" personality traits.

ok, thanks. I found YunXi to be someone the show tried to "tell" us was smart, but "showed" us she was not (In the first episode alone there were multiple instances where she did something stupid). I did like her character though. Enough for me to continue watching despite the unlikable male lead. I suppose I am getting used to stupid female leads in Chinese Dramas, but it is still frustrating.

Is the FL here just as much a moron as in Legend of Yun Xi? Is the male lead actually likeable here as compared to Yun Xi?

Wow, i did a lot of skipping for this drama, and gave up at ep 37. The start of drama was good, but went downhill…
Well, this is a Chinese drama after all. You can always count on the female lead being the stupidist female character and the 2FL being the smart one who is full of schemes.

woah..i know i'm late to the party but i literally saw someone call ju jingyi a b*tch for the way she acts. apparently…
Her character was often frustrating, but not because of the acting, or being "too overconfident", but because the character was dumb. She rivaled the crown prince for "Stupidist Moron in the Drama". I thought the actress was fine, the actress did quite well to make her quite likeable despite the character's stupidity.

Is the female lead just as stupid in the novel as in the drama? She seems to be the dumbest character in the entire drama. Maybe the crown prince is stupider, but it is a close call.

The female lead is annoyingly dumb for repetitively falling into the enemies' traps
Well, she exhibited that she was a moron multiple times in just the first episode (I counted at least 3 times she showed off her stupidity), so if you have watched the first episode this should come as no surprise
