This is korean version of Jason Bourne. But with health dose of drama, romance and comedy. Almost perfectly paced…
Unlike Jason Bourne only one female in this was fridged.

I am up to episode 10 and there is no ROMANCE whatsover between anyone, so I certainly have not been able to see…
Yeah, it really picks up in episode 11. I think the first 9 episodes should be avoided and people should just start at episode 10

Title Far Away Love Spoiler
I've started watching this drama a couple of times, then bailed because the drama was coming and I just couldn't…
There is a reason he does not deny it. His mother did something extremely nasty and cruel to the FL's sister and since she was his first love and he felt he owed her because of what his mother did, he did not want to expose her secret and cause her more pain. IMO her motive for revenge is a bloody good motive. As it is I think the mother got off way too lightly.

hmm, since you ask for more details, I will give you a full spoiler on why. He was never in a relationship with the female lead's sister. He had a one sided crush on her whilst she treated him as a friend. His mother on the other hand thought it was more two-sided than it was so the mother HIRED a man to seduce her and pretend to be her boyfriend. He seduced her (the first person she loved), got her pregnant, then abandoned her to give birth alone. The male lead offered to marry her and accept the child as his but then they found out the ex-boyfriend had been hired by his mother to seduce her. This caused the female lead's sister to flee home. Then she found out she was ill and ran away to the USA. The biggest thing the ml is guilty of is not breaking ties with his mother after she pulled this shit. The mother is a pos that got a way happier ending than she deserved.

But I will say the first 9 episodes of this drama do nothing for this story. The leads barely interact in those episodes and really those episodes should have been omitted entirely or condensed into 30mins. Episode 10 (or episode 11) is where people should start watching this drama.

Hopefully there is season 2 with the same whole cast team (Dont even think if changing a single cast) especially…
nah, drop the assistant demon hunter character. He is way too much of a moron that he emits a stupidity aura that makes other characters stupid in his presence

Title Begin Again
Love so much this one & can’t understand it when some compare it to love is sweet because both totally different…
I dropped Love is Sweet very early on. It is NOT sweet when someone gets you kicked out of your home then manipulates things so they can trick you into moving into their home. In fact it is creepy, stalkerish and extremely icky.

I finally got around to starting this and I loved it. The story was great with interesting and unique characters...…
The synopsis seems to assign them all very stereotypical sexist abilities. Is this the case?

Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. In this drama that is not the case. Pikachu and the swimmer…
I agree. Though I think I had a couple more issues than you. I really did not like how her having powers was dealt with in the last four episodes. It just felt depowering (in more than just the literal sense).

I also felt having 3 supporting couples was a bit too much since it spread their screentime a bit too thin. Thus, the supporting characters and their romances felt very much one dimensional. I thought Yu Xin was the most interesting of the support characters but they did pretty much nothing with her.

Both the mums of the leads were great and it was nice to see no real anti-romance stances from the parents.

seriously, you complain about the fl not liking your crush, but what is likeable about him? You insult the female…
fair enough. I would just like to clarify something. I do not believe you were trashing the actress. If I gave the impression that is what I was saying, I apologise. I was mainly calling out your comment calling the female lead character dense when the male character was a lot more dense. I never read your comment as a criticism of the actress (though to be fair, I guess I did unfairly link your comment about the character, to the tendency on this site to criticize actresses).

I’m thinking about starting this but the rating is so low...
as long as a rating is in the 7+, if you want to watch something give it a go. There is a lot of good shows in the 7+ range. Make up your own mind.

Then why are you ONLY commenting about the FL then. I, myself did not like this drama. Did not like the story or the characters. Both lead characters were not very likeable imo, but the ML was particularly unlikeable. YET, it is only the FL that attracts your displeasure that she is the only character you dislike, whilst you also made mention how you are interested in the ML's dramas. You call her "dense", yet the male lead is at least 10x more "dense". How can anyone not take this as the stereotypical kisskh "bias" against female characters and actresses.

I came to this drama because of Fiction Guo , I got it was a comedy i am like okay let try it 3 ep I dropped it…
seriously, you complain about the fl not liking your crush, but what is likeable about him? You insult the female lead for not liking the spoilt sexist manchild but make no mention of why she should like the spoiled sexist manchild. You call the fl dense, but say nothing about your crush.

sigh the way people on mydramalist constantly rag on female characters and actresses whilst stanning their crushes never gets old

This is NOT "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" despite what comments say. The male lead here is a self-centred spoiled sexist arsehole whilst the male lead in "WWWSK" was simply self-centred.

I really like this, most of the characters are fun. I do think they drag out some of storylines a bit too long (like the dream storyline & the painting storyline) but over all it is a fun ride with one exception.

The Apprentice Demon Hunter on the hand is annoying. His presence drags down every scene he is in which is frustrating since they try to force him into every scene. I get he is supposed to be the comic relief guy, but is not really funny, just cringy. He is so stupid he emits an aura that makes the female lead dumber and weaker in his presence. In fact all the characters suffer from his stupidity aura. They keep believing him when he lies, they keep trusting his abilities, when he constantly shows he is incompetent.

I've watched two episodes and so far for me it's just boring... Could You tell me, if it gets better in a few…
I would give until episode 5. If you are not liking it by then just move on. The first two episodes are quite dull.

The female lead acknowledges she is energetic and stupid- when, when, will a Cdrama female lead be brainy, beautiful…
There is a few of them, but they are indeed rare.

The Best of You in my Mind (2018) // Fake Princess (2020) // I Cannot Hug You (2017) // Lucky's First Love (2019) // Night of the Comet 2 (2020) // Way Back Into Love (2020) //Parallel Love (2020) [though the first episode would have you think otherwise]

Title Ho Goo's Love Spoiler
Honestly I'd like to have seen a conclusion to the case against Kyung Woo...
I think they were trying to highlight the issues these type of cases face. Since it is such a sensitive issue and they handled it so delicately (all her friends supported her and the child wholeheartedly, she was encouraged to press charges by the other women in her life and her friends all supported that decision). There was also the fact that stuff like the "Miryang Gang Rape" was still fairly recent and almost all of those 41 rapists got off with a slap on the wrist. So maybe they felt having it wrapped up in a bow was a bit too much like downplaying the issue.

yep i too feel it is a big drawback of 16th episode but in reality this is how it works many sexual assaults cases…
None of her friends (or Hoo Goo's family) blamed her and that is the most important thing

Keep it in spoiler tag and trust me it will ruin the whole drama for u knowing that and its not that simple to…
It does not really "ruin" the drama or any of the characters we care about. It is an interesting (and disturbing) choice to go there, but it was handled gracefully. The acceptance and love that both leads give to the child is a great lesson. I also liked that no-one (except already established douchebags) attempted to blame the female lead (Uee) for the circumstances leading to her pregnancy.
