Same with me, liked it in the beginning started struggling from around 6. Two characters make my blood boil everytime…
I am extremely frustrated with the female lead and I am only on Episode 4. And you are saying she "gets tiring" and you are up to episode 20 and hoping it gets better? You are not giving me the confidence to continue watching
The audiences always hate the FL more than they do the ML when it's the ML's fault that FL is still involved with…
I am usually the first to decry the piling on of a female lead whilst the male lead gets excessive praise, but the Female Lead in this is an absolute moron. And a clumsy one at that. Amongst CDramas which are rather infamous for their stupid female leads, the female lead here is so stupid it is surprising that she never took home multiple Darwin Awards.
And she had plenty of opportunities to leave but never took them. In fact in episode 3 she leaves just to come back again 5 minutes later.
They are not strangers. They are childhood friends.
She did not consider him a stranger. She even recogized him as an adult which heavily suggests she has met him as an adult. Also both still wear the bracelets suggesting a deep underlying connection that still exists even if the show starts with them in an antagonistic state.
And she did consent, even if she argued with her father about it, she still went alone to the registration office to register the marriage. Now I guess, an argument could be made that her feeling obligated to follow her father's wishes is a form of "force", but I still feel it is far different from the image created when the words "forced marriage" is brought into play.
And her main argument for being against the marriage was her "not wanting to get married at all, let alone to him" (which she stated in episode 2 I think). Your original point was that she was being forced to marry "some stranger", when it is made very clear, he is far from "some stranger".
Why the fuck does he keep letting the girl he is NOT married to, constantly cling to and cuddle him when he has absolutely no interest in her and it only caused misunderstandings. What is this, a Thai Lakorn disguised as a CDrama?
Male leads like this are fucking terrible. All firm & strong with everyone including the female lead, yet with a sticky 2fl they are not interested in, they get all wishy washy and weak.

They went to school together, their families were also close so they interacted outside of school often. That is a lot more than just meeting one time on a camping trip.
Besides if you have an issue with arranged marriages, then why are you watching Asian drama? I have no issues with arranged marriages as long as both parties agree to it (and despite her reluctance the female lead here DID agree to it).
This is a bit too American for me and I am not really a fan of American moron cringe humour. The main character is someone straight out of Dumb & Dumber, The Simpsons, or Family Guy. I love Shin HyeSun but her character is a moron, and it is a bit of a struggle at times to get pass her idiocy.
I know people find the female lead unlikeable but to me, she just wants to be left alone. People keep intruding on her and invariably wanting things from her so of course she is going to be rude about the constant intrusions. She prefers her own company.
Now, I can understand people not liking her, But I just can not understand how people are calling her bratty. She makes no demands on anyone, so how can she be bratty. In fact, the male lead fits that description a lot more since he is constantly demanding things of people and gets quite petty when he does not get his way. He has the prerequisites to being a brat, she has none.
What I have come to understand after watching Thai (and Chinese) dramas is that "adoption" is a dirty word in these countries. No one considers adopted children a real part of the family not even the family itself.
So when the flaky brother in the first 5 minutes says he is interested in "pretty but stupid girls". Then you meet the pregnant sister 10 minutes later, and think "yep, he succeeded in finding a girl who fits his criteria"
NO to romanticising violence against women. >_< Rape is not love; it's not romantic; it's ABUSE.
and to reiterate since Thai dramas seem to consistently get this wrong, RAPE is NOT a seduction technique. A woman is not going to fall in love with someone just because they raped her.
The issue I have is that a past self transitioning into a future self should be your basic logical "go to explanation" for any time travel story. If the story wants to do something different, then it is the story's job to set that up. But I would expect that the two versions merging should be your base default expectation since it is the simplest explanation. It is the Occam's razor of these type of stories. And that is what happens here.
So people being upset or bewildered by the merge feel like people who expect Zebras instead of horses when they hear hoofbeats.
watching this now and sarut's mother is psycho. ..oh and sarut is a selflish, loser, pu**y.
There is only 4 likeable characters in this show. The main couple and their secretaries. The sooner you accept that everyone else is an unlikeable pos the easier it is to focus on the main pairing which are rather sweet.
We are lucky in this respect to have so many likeable characters. Usually in a Thai drama we struggle to get two. And it is always a bonus when the male lead in a Thai drama is not a rapist.
No, just a proper wedding, - that was partly sweet because the leads do love each other, and partly icky because the very icky villain and his sidekick are there and everyone is ignoring his past behaviour (and his very icky fixation on his sister)
This is my favourite Thai drama BECAUSE it is not a slap kiss. The first episode is a bit misleading. The romance…
Yep. I wish the Secretaries had been the SL couple, they were so cute together but we got so little of them. They would have been a much better choice than the SL couple we ended up with.
