I dropped it after a few episodes... the female lead is supposed to be a genius doctor but behaves like a spoiled…
This is a Chinese Drama. Female leads in a Chinese drama are always morons. Even if they "tell" you the female lead is smart (via synopsis/character background), they will "show" they are dumb by the character's actions.
Book Han Yun Xi is so smart I wonder why they should make her weaker in the show
The people in charge of making Chinese dramas don't believe Chinese women can be smart. This is why the average Chinese female leads in these dramas are 99% of the time, morons
Honestly speaking, this is an interesting drama. I think it tried to do a lot of really cool and subversive things,…
I think "doing something interesting" is a bit meaningless when the female lead is yet another naive stupid woman. What is it with Chinese dramas and their insistence that Chinese woman are absolute morons.
Unfortunately it doesn't. This show is a mess.EDIT: Full disclosure: this was written when I was super frustrated…
You do not have to apologise. Your opinion is just as valid as mine. I just took issue with the whole "two episodes then extrapolation" thing. There have been plenty of shows I turned off after a couple of episodes.
Those are Thai dramas not Taiwanese, but "Jao Sao Yum Yorm" & "Sapai Import" are indeed the best 2 Thai dramas (have not seen Unlucky Ploy). But like dramadisciple says, the only place to get a good copy of "Sapai Import" is from the "ThaiLakorn" group on the Telegram app.
Can someone please recommend some modern Taiwanese drama....ROM com, hate to love type...
ok, some one posted some good Thai dramas, so I will answer your question with some good taiwanese dramas. This list is my 15 favourite Taiwanese romcoms. https://kisskh.at/list/3DgRQvPL

Not to pick on Sky here but to elaborate on the concept of bias, so I apologise for being a bit finicky here, and I will include a disclaimer that I am a firm believer that other people's opinion is just as valid as my own including Skys. I also do not believe bias as always a bad thing but it should be noted when it exists.
You commented that you were on episode two, and having issues. Sky replied with "it does not get better". In another post she stated she only watched the first two episodes then skipped to the end. This is a bit like reading the first two chapters of "The Fellowship of the Ring" then skipping to the last chapter of "Return of the King" and telling someone who has also only read the first two chapters of the story that "it does not get better". The bias comes from telling others "the story does not get better" when your making your judgment on very flawed information.
I am not trying to defend the show here, or am against her having a negative opinion of it, just I dislike this sort of "it does not get better" advice when they stopped at the same point you were at.

um, that is the least weird thing. People fall for the fictional characters they create all the time. FFS, idol fans are basically falling for fictional characters they have created since a lot of them project their own "character" onto the image of the idol.

SkyLivesforDrama is rather biased in regards to this drama (and admits to only watching the first two episodes and then skipped to the last couple of episodes in another post.
The first 3 episodes were a bit too cringy for me, but after that it picked up. It is not a great show, but not a bad one either. I would say it is above average (around a 7.5 rating)
I agree. The two leads are also ridiculously stupid. I do not hold out much hope for their dynasty if they breed, since it is likely their future kids will inherit their stupidity.
They are what I call "historical dramas for people who do not like historical dramas". The main selling point is a smart, sneaky comedic female lead who is the central character whilst the male lead is often left baffled/bewildered.
I watched the first two episodes but then I ended up dropping this drama because it seemed boring and i couldn't…
This is what I call a "historical drama for people who do not like historical dramas". If you like any of the historical dramas here; https://kisskh.at/list/10dWdnk1 you will probably like this. The main selling point is a smart, sneaky comedic female lead who is the central character. If you don't like that sort of character or you like the average historical drama, then this is probably not for you.
I'm on the first episode (still 5 minute to be exact, which is very beginning) of this drama, but.. is this worth…
