I watched the first episode and I didn't hate it. It had a lot of fantasy elements that seemed a little corny to me but I am not a huge fan of fantasy in general. I read a lot of comments expressing concern about Luhan's acting abilities but I thought he acted pretty well. He has a very expressive face. I haven't decided if I want to continue it or not.

For some reason, I am really rooting for their romance. They are such star-crossed lovers that I can't help but want them to be together in the end.

I am ashamed to admit that I have never seen Long Vacation or Pride despite being a long-time fan of his. I loved Hero and A Million Stars Falling from the Sky. I like his darker dramas and his detective dramas. A drama from the 2000s cannot possible be old. I refuse to admit it. ;P

He's definitely one of my all time favorites. He is ridiculously charismatic. His smile is adorable and I love his older darker dramas like A Million Stars Falling from the Sky.

Chinese dramas have really unpredictable airing dates anyways. I hate that it isn't coming out until the end of next year. That is too far away!

I'll have to give them a try. Thank you for the recs. I have enjoyed several Thai movies- especially horror and romance ones. They seem to be very different from the dramas for the most part.

It is probably not going to come out soon. First it will have to be released on DVD and then someone will have to upload a rip of the DVD. Then someone will have to sub it. Like in the US and most other countries, the DVD is not released until several months after a movie first hits the theaters. This movie was just released last month at the theaters.

Ah~~ One of my favorite manga of all time! I hope the movie is good. Can't wait for it to be released and subbed.

I'm afraid those cliches are the main reasons why I could never get into lakorns. The females are usually very weak (or very crazy), the plots are ridiculous, and the romance is just bizarre (especially the whole slap kiss thing).
