The drama is good AF, but how long will we have to wait for season 2? Damn I dont like how they are splitting…
Season two airs Feb 3rd so fortunately not too long of a wait. However, I agree with your complaint. Companies need to stop splitting seasons. It serves no purpose.
I loved both "One and Only" and "Forever and Ever". The chemistry between the leads was so wonderful. I actually…
Same. I have rewatched scenes between the main leads in One and Only but I haven't the heart to actually rewatch it despite it being my favorite romance drama of all time. I'm really glad they followed it up with Forever and Ever.
My favorite romantic drama is One and Only. My favorite is the dialogue from Shi Yi to Sheng Chen where she tells him about how she tried to remain in his mansion, the royal mansion, so that she could remain with him instead of marrying the Crown Prince. There are other great lines in the drama but I thought it rare for the female lead to profess her love and I really loved her character. She was willing to remain unmarried to stay by his side.
"There was something that I didn’t plan to tell you and when I left the royal mansion I held back. After returning to Luyuan, I wrote a letter to my mother. I told her that I wanted to compile classics like my uncle. Then I could stay in the royal mansion to be with you. I want to stay in the Western state, remain single all my life, treat the Royal Army as my family and treat you as my family, like my senior brothers and sisters. My mother said if I was not engaged, she would allow me to stay in the Western State. I was so close. Just one step away from staying in the royal mansion."
I just assume that any Chinese drama will have a sad ending unless proven otherwise. I'm guilty of just watching a drama up to certain point and then dropping it if I suspect/know it will have a sad ending. I still haven't watched all of The Rise of Phoenixes or Guardian for that reason.
Oh my God... I can not imagine watching Shutter in a cinema... I was scared watching in my phone, I can't even…
I think the Wailing was going more for a morality tale packaged up as a mystery/thriller story rather than a horror movie. Unfortunately it was marketed as horror which was frankly misleading. It wasn't bad but definitely not horror.
I was just looking for good horror movies to watch. Thanks for the list! I loved Coming Soon and Shutter. Thailand does great horror movies. I love their horror comedies too like Make Me Shudder 1 & 2.
Several of these look really interesting but Chinese's broadcasting schedule is so unpredictable. I try not to get my hopes up about upcoming dramas because I never know when/if they are going to be aired. I've been waiting over 3 years for one drama to air (Dear Archimedes- on hold because of the whole SK missile fiasco).
It says the show ends on April 19 (2 days away) but VIP is only at episode 38 and there's supposed to be 49 episodes. Are they just going to release the rest of the episodes (11 episodes) this weekend? They had been releasing 2 a day on Fri, Sat, and Sun.
