I'm very happy you love Shota-kun. He's the yummiest thing after Sacher Torte, in my book, but most of all he's a versatile actor, as good to watch as the dramas he plays in are... different. I went through the whole Hana Yori Gando just for the sake of him. I'll go bask in his thread (although I must confess I have 3 folders of actors on my pc: 1 for Binnie, one for him and one for Hyde. My man knows of them and is still scratching his head...)

I'm particularly eager to know what you think of Strawberry on the shortcake. A tiny part of me hopes you'll become a fan of Yosuke Kubozuka too. :D:D
Given this long premises, I also hope you have some good recommendations for me. I can't guarantee I'll watch at once, but my list definitely needs some new food for watch. ;)
I'm finished, don't worry.
The only thing still left to say is: a big hug!
And wait for me on discussion threads! ;)

Bwaaaa, I just wrote a long message, which was not posted because... it was too long! Grrrrr.
All right, anger forgotten, let me start from the beginning and go in order. 1.my holiday in Malaysia was lovely: romantic, adventurous, galvanizing and sweet. On top of it, it was tropical hot and all Asian: can a woman ask for more? ;)
Which leads me to the 2nd point: right now I'm watching... nothing! The last time I came near a drama was in October. I don't know if it's only me, but the longer I stay away from something, the harder it is for me to jump back into it. It's as though my system got rusty - if this makes any sense. But I got some recommendations; the first being that flower shop boy something, which is on my list and, more appealing to me at the moment, the Japanese Kaseifu No Mita. I read from your wall that you wrote a review of Flower etc.: I'm going to read it right now! :D

Thanks for your comment, Bladey and pleased to make your acquaintance.:D I see you have Don Quixote among your fav., which I subscribe... and Shota-kun is the yummiest knight I know. ;)
I also like short dramas... it seems we have a couple of common tastes.
Have a great xmas time. :D

Jeanie, how have you been? I was on a fantastic holiday, and although I've missed our great discussions, I must confess I didn't miss dramas (would you believe it? I feel like I've been on a drama-detox-camp, LOL).
But daily life is catching up, which means I'll soon be back on the obsessed boat. Meanwhile, let me grab the opportunity to wish you a wonderful Xmas!! Hugs

Perhaps I should add the very poor quality of the subs. You need to have your language radar on to follow them. :P

Hi Elisabetta,
I've wanted to befriend you for quite some time, but the system is very slow and entering the personal profiles harder than cracking the Nasa computers, lol.
By the way, I'm Rita. :)

Hi Jeanie,
I received your lovely message all right, thank you!! I'm terribly busy these days and only write silly comments here and there. I want to reply to your PM, but for that I need to be a little more lucid. So brace yourself, for I can be quite wordy when inspired, LOL (poor you)
:D

Wow, the system is actually working! I had lost all hopes, but it turns out despite the expired page the message was sent there and then.
Mysteries of technology. :P

Let's see... it took me 15 minutes to enter your page. Now I send this one and maybe I could eat dinner in the meantime. LOL
By the way, call me rita, please. I love my nick because it's a beautiful old sanskrit name meaning immortality, but I can't claim such a power... yet. ;)

I'm sorry there is no way to make his picture appear. There is a bug cursing this entry.
I can assure he's a handsome actor... ;)

He's a brilliant actor. I have no fear in declaring that he's one of the best Japanese actors of his generation. He can play whatever role and be convincing, without having to resort to the eye-candy factor.
A pity there's not more dramas with him in them. Blame the narrow-mindedness of the drama business.
