I was reading the Lakorn thread and read all your comments with great pleasure. I agree with basically everything, from the subject of rape, to the tw-drama with hearts (same reaction: eek!), from the number of episodes to what you say about the poignancy of silence - your mentioning Nagareboshi saw me clapping! :D
It's a great feeling to read someone who expresses exactly what we would say.
I haven't taken part in the discussion because I haven't seen one single lakorn, nor do I think I ever will. :p
Have a great day!:)

Hi my friend! I haven't been around recently due to a computer problem which took much longer than expected to be solved. Now I'm back, but literally swamped with work. As usual. :P
Pride is a great drama, I'm glad you liked it. Needless to say, if you have good suggestions for me, they are always more than welcome!! Especially Japanese ones. :D
Hugs!!
I wish I could be more helpful, but I looked almost everywhere while I was watching the drama without great success. While from the second episode on the order of the streaming "pieces" is right, the subs remain terrible, so prepare yourself for an interpreter job.
Oh, and the other friend I suggested this drama to, didn't like it. LOL
So, let me know. :D

My dear, we've got something else in common: the length of our messages. If it weren't for this characters limitation, we could call our conversations a real exchange of letters. Which, in case I haven't told you so yet, I love. :D
You're right: let's get rid of that -san: too formal between friends.
I'm going through an anti-obsession phase, of which I'm going to talk in detail at the café: hope you come and read me there. Which means that I'm adding new dramas to my to watch list, but haven't brought myself to start any yet. :S
As for Rondo... this is a sore spot. I had to dl the 1st episode, because it was impossible to find it in the right order on any streaming site. It's raw and the subs are atrocious. The other episodes can't be viewed all in the same place, you really have to go find bits and pieces wherever possible.

My dearest Brashy-san (the san having nothing to do with age and everything with respect), I'm TRULY happy you're going to watch one of my favourite dramas out there. Indeed, I have seen the Lake house with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, and loved it. The general idea holds some resemblances, but the letters in this drama only make sense in the end - if ever they make sense, meaning that this is a show to be interpreted. Therefore, I'm very eager to know, 1. whether you like it, 2. what is your interpretation of it. Please don't be deterred by the very poor visual effects; as I wrote in my review, they really aren't the strength of the drama, but they don't make it any less enjoyable. I hope you'll love it as much as I did.
Hugs hugs hugs. :D

I like Jeaniessi too: good choice. :D
I almost feel ashamed to admit this, but no, I haven't gotten into watching any drama yet. It wouldn't be such a big problem if it weren't for the fact that it seems to beat the object of coming to MDL, or even DC. My mind is wandering everywhere else and every time I try to start something, I stop after a few minutes and go back to my book, the piano or working duties. I know it'll sound surreal, but have you got a method to go back INTO the obsession tunnel? :S

Jeanie, is that you?
I can deal with the intricacies of avatar changing, but to make sure it was really you I had to come here and look at your favourites. LOL
How are you, by the way? Did I wish you a happy new year? :D

Kristin, my dear!! It's good to read you. :D
I have been on stand-by with dramas for a while now and I promise I won't let it dwell too long, LOL.
How are you? I hope you have a wonderful Christmas (you know of Freudian slips? I just had one and instead of writing Christmas I first wrote Christman. LOL)
Hugs

Grazie, buon Natale anche a te! :D:D
I hope you don't mind if I copy you and write a merry xmas message on my wall. For an abstent-minded person like me, the risk of forgetting someone is too high. ;)
Have a great one!

Oh, the only reason I haven't been around for a while is that I was on holiday the whole of November and had to catch up on procrastinated duties when I came back. Hence the contentment! ;)
And although I have no children, I know their enthusiasm for festive season is what makes them worth celebrating. If it were only for me, I'd skip them and jump directly to... May! :D

My dear, of course you're right. But that's just a short surreal story, whose meaning is nothing else than: is the offended one really he who's got the problem? The offender's definitely got a bigger one!
I think it applies to many things in life.
