Glad to have found an Italian drama addicted - just like me! I've been into this universe for only few months…
Prego! :D
And welcome on board, Maria! :)

Episode Review Descendants of the Sun Episode 1 Spoiler
I also hope they will give the medical and war strategy aspect the deserved stress. I can't imagine 16 hours of romance alone, that would be too much for me too. :)

Episode Review Descendants of the Sun Episode 1 Spoiler
Hiii...lovely to know you are watching this too...I just watched the first episode and I enjoyed it (music included!),…
I believe the romance started so soon in order to... create a background. Most dramas have the leads reunite after infancy - a pattern I'm quite tired of - so here we have the pre- war zone to introduce the characters and be done with their respective tempers.
I'm very curious to see if they can leave up to the grandeur of the first episodes. Hope for a lot of war scenarios, I actually love them. :)

Amrita!! You are ALIVE :D I agree with everything you said up there. In my case, I try another method which is…
My dearest, I'm alive and even a little kicking, lol!
Yes, over analyzing is the worst enemy of love, isn't it? It certainly works for long term commitment, but for a crush it's always better to be surprised than disappointed. :)

I'll do my best with the feeds my friend, but promise to do the same!! ♥

I am longing for a drama watching partner and I have been happily addicted since October 2015.
Good luck with that.
To draw my husband in, I ambushed him. It worked. All's fair in love and war.;);)

I'm never in a drama slump because I tend to switch country every now and then... So I have a great drama balance!…
Funnily, I've almost never gone back to a drama on-hold. Perhaps I should: we all change, after all, so the second time around it could be a fantastic experience.
I'll try...
:)

Good article. Though its just my second year into asian dramas, I've already hit the slump a couple of times.…
Who knows, perhaps not fulfilling nr. 5 is the best way to enact nr.4! :D

I'm happy I'm just a regular, normal fan, and not addicted or fanatic.
Yes, that's the healthy way. It's rare, so I envy you a little. :)

I probably will not get a number 5, even if I have, I won't even bother to have one~
Well, we all have a lot of fellow addicted on the net to share our opinions with, right? :)

I am struggling with no.2 >< I can't drop any drama easily so I end up skipping most of it
As I said, we are all different and all stances deserve respect.
When I was younger I would read to completion every single book I started and the same I would do with movies and dramas. In later years I simply surrendered to the fact that there are a trillion books out there which possibly deserve to be read and enjoyed and since I'm not immortal (yet), I've somehow learnt to prioritize. :)

I cheat too!!!! Lol
We are terrible, aren't we?
I promise I'll let you know, should I ever hear or read of a job that fits the description. Full time drama critic...

Great article! When I'm in a slump, sometimes I turn to variety shows or will watch movies my favorite actors…
I have watched a few dramas on viki with the comments on and it was great fun. In a few instances, the comments were more enjoyable than the drama itself and it truly felt like watching with kindred spirits. Bar the instances when I landed in some fangirl nest and had to endure the neverending swooning for the male lead: that's when the off button worked wonders... ;);) And real life partners don't have that, do they? LOL

I have only fallen into a slump once or twice. It's usually because of #4. If I get too busy for a few days and…
3 episodes work fine for me too.
To be honest, I usually understand whether I'll love a drama after 15 minutes of the first episode, but I know it sounds a little pretentious, as though I had some sixth sense which , indeed, I have not. Let's say that I'm a bit of a love at first sight sort of drama watcher, but that's beside the point.
You know now we are all curious about your complicated method, don't you? ;)

Currently in a drama slump, so I will take all the advice on board. Haha nice article. :)
Ah, I feel for you, I truly do.
I've come out of a huge one just a month ago or so and it was a bit of a hard time, despite the fact that I worked better, slept better, dedicated more time to friends and family irl and didn't dream of eating ramen with some Asian knockout... It's clear I love to suffer. :P
Hope my advice work for you. :)

Our lives as addicted is hard, isn't it? ;)
You know that feeling you get when a drama you love is nearing the end and you already know how you're going to feel afterwards? You know you're going to rewatch... and rewatch... and feel empty.
And yet, you know the saying: better to have loved and lost than never have loved. I suppose it applies to us all, in some way.

Thank you for your support. :)

I think this article is funny because in all my years of watching dramas I've not once been in a drama slump.…
You're one lucky cricket! :D
I sincerely wish no slump in your future, because unless one is completely cured out of the obsession and doesn't care a dime anymore, drama slumps are truly frustrating.
Thanks for reading the article despite its uselessness. ;)
devitto Feb 25, 2016
Totally agree with your review, but I confess I liked those last 5 minutes. :D
Yes, admittedly they were a little cheesy, very Top Gun style, but then again, I suspect most war parts are going to show off a heap of testosterone in this drama. I'm actually more sold on those than the love at first sight part, possibly due to that blasted music breaking my eardrums all the time...

I haven't seen the Heirs, nor do I plan to, but this was one of the most hilarious articles I've read in a very long time.
Please accept my most heartfelt thanks for the utterly delicious read - which is clearly a lot better and more enjoyable than the drama in question.. :D
Gyabo Feb 13, 2016
What a lovely article! :D

This is all very cheesy, but I must admit at having a weak spot for couple rings and bracelets myself, so my husband and I have totally different styles but same hands, lol.
