Title Happy Once Again Spoiler
I bet they cut off the kiss scene right before he turned away to throw up
Yes, I have the same feeling, lol.

I would gladly start a discussion on this, but I'm a little put off by the brevity of your article. I wish you…
@Marooya
The supported argument is all the reasons to dislike a show other than our personal taste. I am aware that like and dislike are often felt without a particular reason, but taste is hardly a subject of discussion. If you don't like a thing, who am I to tell you you should like it?

I would gladly start a discussion on this, but I'm a little put off by the brevity of your article. I wish you had expanded a little on your criticism, because simply replying "I agree on that drama and I disagree on that one" won't add anything to what you have written.

This said, I am with you wholeheartedly in your need to express your dislike for some very popular dramas: there is something slightly irritating in the huge success of a thing we didn't like, isn't there?.

On my part, I don't fully comprehend the popularity of dramas like Kill Me, Hill Me, It's Ok, that's Love. or Rich Man Poor Woman, mostly because they claim to be cleverer, deeper or more serious than they actually are. I'd rather be diverted and entertained by a fluffy rom com like You Who Came from the Star, that delivered exactly what it had meant to, just like I enjoyed immensely the little, mundane details of the everyday life in Reply 1997. Yes, I hated The Master's Sun, but I could write an essay on how overrated the Hong Sisters are in general.
Just my two cents.

Great choices, as usual.
Kiuto (Q10) is a favourite of mine, a little surreal gem with a lot of food for thoughs.
As for Nine, it's been sitting on my PTW since it aired, but I'm definitely going to fill the gap very soon.

Thank you both! :D

You know, I have given this drama an 8.5, as I thought some aspects of the plot were not too well developed, but reading your review and another few of truly enthusiastic comments, I'm considering raising my vote. As you say, the execution and dialogues were something special and I agree the pace was perfect. :D

Review Coffee Prince
This drama can't have enough great reviews like this one. Thanks! :)
Personally, I loved the music too.

There is a lot of contradictory info about this drama. First, the nr. of episodes: are they 11 or 12? Second,…
They don't last all the same. The first episode is 132 minutes long, the second 54, the fourth 46 and the sixth is 55 again... :P
I'd say 54 is the average length.

What's with the raiting? O.o and why do ppl even rate like there is only one episode out ...gawd ... sometimes....
I wish I could agree with you, Hessa.
It would be nice if the overall, final rating were not influenced by the "future-tellers" who, more often than not, click on a random button even before the show starts.
Unfortunately, those very early votes heavily affect the final score of a drama, both in the positive as well as the negative, even without taking the trolls into consideration.
Personally, I couldn't care less about the rating of a drama when choosing what to watch, however, a lot of people do care, which triggers a domino effect: the more a drama is popular, the more it will be watched.

Since you really liked the mystery of the twin sister, don't you think it would have been nice to keep it a mystery…
Thank you for editing, Grace. :D

Thank you, Simplifica. :)
I started watching the drama last night, and now hope it's 12 episodes, 'cause it promises to be a marvelous ride. :D

There is a lot of contradictory info about this drama.
First, the nr. of episodes: are they 11 or 12?
Second, here it seems as though it stopped airing at the end of May - which doesn't make much sense unless they aired 2 episodes per week. Elsewhere it says the drama's still on air.

Is there a friendly soul who can enlighten me? :)
DragonAlien Jun 27, 2015
Thank you for this beautiful and useful review, Dragon. Shall definitely put the movie in my PTW list.

I don't deal with it on a daily basis, but I love maths. :)

BrightestStar Jun 24, 2015
Great article, Bright! I love Japanese humour the best too, as you say it seems to resonate with me a lot more than comedy from elsewhere. :D
I'm so happy you mentioned, among the awesome rest, "Stand Up!!", a very underrated but truly hilarious and sweet drama. :)

I'm sorry, but is anyone else sick of articles about OSTs? MDL writers really can't think of anything else to…
The site gives us the chance to approach the drama world in many, varied ways. We can comment in forums, in the drama description, in the feeds, we can write reviews and comment on them and we can write and read articles. We can all be intellectually engaged if we want to, the food for thought is there.

Coming up with totally new ideas for an article isn't that easy as it may seem and the site's demographic is too diverified to always satisfy everyone.

Comparing MDL to DB is nearly impossible, since one ranges from Hong Kong movies to Thai Lakorns and everything in between, while the other is a blog solely based upon the recaps and reviews of Kdramas, and critics like the one you voiced are usually replied to with something like: "that's their blog, they have the right to say whatever they want".

While in general I'm not a fan of polls myself, I don't see them clouding all the rest. If music doesn't spark your intellect, there's plenty of other topics to view, read and write about.

I hate the term "bromance". Do we have to fetishise male friendship with this sort of language?
Wow, so I'm not alone! :)
I hate the term too, and as I've said elsewhere, I will tolerate it the day "sismance" is used with the same regularity.

*with all due respect for the article and its authors, who always do a great job!*

I haven't watched School 2013 yet, but if the friendship is so strong I'll definitely put it in my PTW list, thank you. :D

Personally, when I think of friendship the first dramas that come to mind are Nobuta Wo Produce, Stand Up!!, Orange Days, Shut Up Flower Boy Band and Warrior Baek Dong Soo. :)
