Who is Shinya?
How could I not see the name? Silly me.
Thanks for clarifying. :)

Star, did you really just criticize the mightly hong sisters? Did you truly suggest people rate a drama for its script and not for the sporadic kiss?
Ah, my friend, thou shall suffer the divine hongs wrath! All your food will turn into spicy ramen, your tongue will be tied and only be able to say "Omo!" and, last but not least, you'll be condemned to re-watch, recap and review every single episode of every drama written by the heavenly sisters since the beginning of time.
The drama fangirl gods have thus spoken.

;);)

Hahahaha,you're right.
Just the other day I decided to reply to a friend's comment on someone else's wall and of course the reply appeared on my friend's wall, instead of the one where the debate was taking place, resulting in a surreal qui pro quo. It looked like the brothers Marx: "who wrote where?" "I wrote there, but it was meant here" "Here where?" "Are you on drugs?".
I love this parallel universe. :P

Isn't it funny - in a very positive way - how we all meet on someone's wall? I have become a stalker of MDLers's walls and confess I go read some comments because it's like being involved in a huge conversation that leads to another and another and so on.
So, you see, you're not boring at all. ;)

And how great was Kim Sun A? I loved the scene when she taps her foot to show him she's wearing "his" sandals. And the look she gives him while he sang to her? wow.
He was wonderful too, this young actor is doing such a terrific job in portraying the growth of his character.
Lovely. Adorable. :D

LOL at their exiling in Japan. Hahahahaha. Yes, we still haven't got the airport scene: how come? ;) LOL

Exactly!!!!!!!
I tried to convey this feeling in my episode comment but couldn't, really: this drama surprises me because, as a k-drama "veteran" by now I always expect the usual obstacle to be raised and I'm invariably deflated. But here it was the opposite: I was silently praying they win, and they did. I prayed: let them have their dinner, let them, and they had. And when she hesitated to tell him about Ankle, for a moment I thought: nooooooo, please tell him!! And she did. Even his reaction was unexpected, but understandable, poor thing. And when he runs to her flat I started praying again (lol): please ring the bell!!!! And he did.
The kiss was awesome... another thing I was praying for.
Right now I'm wondering if I'm 16 or... whatever the age on my pass, lol.

I'm sorry, Hannah, but I truly don't know. DC used to have it and it's where I watched it at the time, but now finding this movie has become a problem. Someone said it can be viewed on Stagevu, perhapst you can try there? To dl it, the only site still working is Asiatorrent.

LOL, you have me completely confused. Scorpions, who are indeed venomous, are NOT insects, insects being different in body structure, morphology, eating apparatus, antaennas and most of all legs.
So, all we can say is that - should we truly fight, which I have no intention to do - it would be an even match between two arachnids. :D
Bewareeeeee....... ;)

I'm very... protective towards j-dramas because they have been my first love and I go back to them whenever I am in a bad drama mood, like now. I don't know why, they usually restore my healthy addiction. LOL
Sorry, I ended up writing a novel. Please don't be scared, I can be brief. Now and then. ;)

Believe it or not, when I read your list I thought: uh-oh, she's landed on some of the worst J-dramas out there. If you post a request of recommendation on the MDL forum and say you are a J-drama newbie, they will shower you with the usual manga like stuff: hana kimi, zettai kareshi (urgh), yamato nadeshiko bla bla (double urgh) and so on. However, I am convinced these are not at all the best shows to understand what j-dramas are about. On the contrary, for someone who likes well developed stories, with depth, thought-provoking plot, these dramas are the worst and give a very wrong impression.
If I may, I would suggest to begin with things like Orange Days, Pride, Bara No Nai Hanaya, Nagareboshi. They are delicate stories, played on style and very good acting, touching and deep.

I actually loved your review of JJW, it's very detailed and pinpoints those aspects a reader who hasn't seen the drama will need, to choose whether to watch it or not. Isn't this the essence of a useful review? :)
I also agree with your dream high one and with Protect the Boss, which I put on hold on episode... 12 I think and never picked up again. I simply lost interest from one day to the next. Weird feeling. :S
And yes, the contact is Bladey, she's a great source of drama choices as well as clever discussion. :D

Why do they all have to come to the US? Can't they come to Italy, the reign of shoes? LOL!!
Jokes aside, it would be a solution, if only to spite that odious CEO's wife and her HORRID paintings! I promise you I laughed out loud when Ji An was trying to concentrate and couldn't because of that mummy looking at her from the painting, LMAO!
Yes, I understand your point about Na Ri. I must say in the beginning I liked her, I just saw her vulnerability, but now she's slowly becoming your average second K-drama girl, and her last move with the shoe design has been really mean and vulgar.
As for the doctor, I clapped when he glued the sheet of paper on his back declaring he's not going to marry. Genius! Hahaha
I like the humour in this drama very much. It's clever and unusual. :)

Please forgive me for abandoning the chat so abruptly. We often have thunderstorms in Summer and when one approaches I always switch off everything.
I hope you had a very nice meal, whatever the type of pasta. ;)
It was nice meeting you hanna.
Ciao! :D

LOL, I've had a similar experience: one of my first Korean movies ever. I've seen worse things since then, though. And I wasn't even drunk...
