I see you have an agenda to go around and diss the first cast. Seriously, can you do research? The first cast wanted to do the second season. Just enjoy this cast as you like and don't disparage the others.
So the previous cast was useless afterall...nobody could stand up for the sequel...they just scavenged all the…
This is such a mean-spirited comment. The first cast was eager and opened to playing in the second installment of the series. They didn't even know they were not going to be called back to play the characters. The author of the book didn't like some of them, and many issues happened behind closed doors. I dislike how people belittle how much those guys actually helped the series get popular.
This was a really good episode imo. It showed Shin's struggles with his sexual orientation, it showed his resignation, his disappointment with his crush rejecting him because he isn't gay, only to actually be with a guy later. Without knowing what they are saying, that scene where Shin confronted him at the restaurant, the dialogue I am picturing is Shin saying to his crush "I thought you didn't like men. You said you didn't like boys. But that's your boyfriend, right? and the guy confirms and then Shin's face and his follow up comment that I imagine is him saying, "it's just me you didn't like, right?" His face was crestfallen and I just felt his sadness.
Loving the way Tay is delivering Shin’s character. Really impressed. Mild - From Kiss to Happy Birthday to this.…
IF I am not mistaken, isn't this Joss' first drama? Could be why he is sort of two dimensional so far. He's acting isn't amazing, but it's not bad either.
Happy ending, but kinda sad plot, though it getter better at the end. To be honest if you want to start a BL drama,…
Honestly, I would not start with Puppy Honey. I would start with LBC or Sotus if you want some nice slow developing couples. If you want a more grown up BL then Diary of Tootsies, Together with me and Gay Ok Bangkok would be good starters. I would also recommend He's coming to me (a more recent BL series) because it has really good acting. Furthermore, I would branch out of Thai Bls too...Try watching Taiwan Bls such as the HIStory series and Red Balloon. Stay away from some Chinese BLs...most do not have happy endings.
I think Off and Gun did a wonderful job with their acting in this series, I thought this series was good and I…
I agree about Un and Two. There wasn't enough development for me to get into them as much as some people seem to be hooked. I think they did have chemistry, but not enough for a romance. If I were to describe their chemistry I would say it is more like the beginning of a crush, the sudden realization that there is something there, but not sure what it is. When they had Un say to Two "I love you" I was scratching my head because I was like...ummm, really? But again, it was because we didn't get enough of their story. Some people told me that there is more in the novel, but since most people here don't have access to it, it's hard to grasp it with what we are being shown. The series should have spent more time on these two, than on the teacher and bone tbh.
I think your description of her is very unfair and frankly, untrue. Actually Miw is slowly developing into become…
She's so far one of my favorite characters along with Mae. Their flaws and all, makes them realistic and we can either sympathize or empathize with them, because they've been through so much. I live for characters that have range and emotions. Her back story is a very typical one that people don't seem to realize happens more often than not. Young girls being raped specially by a family member, creates trauma and mental health issues later in life. She's the way she is because it helps her be a survivor and not a victim. I hope we get to see more of her, but the show is short.
I've been rewatching the HIStory series...I got to say that this was definitely bl because Gu si ren had been in love with Mai Ying, even if he had a girlfriend, for quite sometime because Mai Ying had protected him from bullies. The girlfriend dying and taking over Gu Si Ren , did not take away from the way he felt for Mai Ying. Also, you have to remember that in order for her to get her life back, she needed to get her boyfriend to fall in love with her (HER) even if she was in Gu Si Ren's body, but when that failed, it is definitely implied that Mai Ying was actually in love with Gu Si Ren and had been for some time and she needed to make peace with that fact and let them be. It wasn't a traditional BL in the sense that we want to see, but mid-way through the drama Mai Ying fell for the boy and not his ex.

It's fine you can join in. I want to make clear that I think you missed my entire point...I am not bashing the couple. I am bashing the story line. and that as someone had said earlier "2moons has realistic relationships"...which it does not really....The drunken sex is a trope overly used in BLs to get a straight guy and a not so straight guy "together". Maybe there are some men out there that got drunk had sex with another man and then moved on from it. But I hardly doubt they would become a couple..maybe some have, but that doesn't appear to be norm in the LGBTQ community as far as I am aware.... And in some countries and jurisdictions having sex with someone completely drunk, by law is defined as rape. That it may not be seen as rape by individuals, but that's debatable. Forth may have had drinks, but he was still coherent and capable of knowing that Beam was out of it. They made him appear as though he was only buzzed. I did mention in a comment that if both were totally drunk, I may not be so critical and call it rape...but the director did not make it seem like that at all.
Also, I don't doubt that you can "Fall" for someone after one night of sex, but the progression of their relationship is totally weird. Forcing/coercing someone to be your partner is not "love"...that's lust and desperation in my opinion. To be honest, I am barely following that series because I don't really like the story line. I barely liked the first season and only watched it to see where it would go. All of the couples have a bit of unhealthiness to them. MingKit was horrible to me because Ming outed kit to his brother, not giving Kit a chance to explore if he was gay or bicurious, was still talking to his ex girlfriends while pursuing Kit. I just wish that BL writes would do a bit more and stop using tropes to get people together. It might be a cultural thing, but Gay people do have healthy relationships in real life and sometimes these series normalize things that aren't good.
Also,,,if you come across my comments on the Make It right drama, you'll see me calling it out for the Rape that it was...not just Tee Fuse, even Frame and Book (Frame forcing Book to have sex with him)....So, it's not me wanting to take a swing at 2moons, it is me actually being me when I watch scenes like this in BL ^_^
As to Bella and Edward..EWW...I don't understand the appeal to that story. But to each their own. Also Romeo and Juliet is even worse that Bella and Edward, my least favorite story from Shakespeare...I was more into Othello and McBeth. Don't get me started on disney movies...if they used the real sourced material then people would never watch it, because Sleeping beauty was raped by the king and she gave birth to twins while still sleeping. UGGG! Perhaps the reason why I am so strong about my opinions is because I work in the Criminal Justice field. I work with individuals accused of many crimes, so I get really concerned with the way some people view certain things that may be considered illegal or a crime. LOL...sorry ranting forever...but one last thing...
Again, I am just voicing my opinion. It's not gospel and I know some people enjoy that series and that's okay.
I can't seem to complete this series out of HIStory 1... I find Jing Teng really dislikeable... He was bullying…
He broke up with him because of his family. They would not approve of him dating a man. He didn't want to tell him the real reason and instead asked the girl to play along. However, none of that truly happened because Shao Yi Chen "woke up" and began all over again with the hope of not getting together with Jiang Ji Ten, but they were "destined" to be together. Basically, Shao Yi Chen was getting a warning of what the future would be like.

LOL no don't stress, I enjoy a healthy discussion so long as we all respect our points of view. My comment initially was to Liz's comment about her stating that 2moons had "realistic relationships" and I was like..."wait hold up...they do?" I understand that the source material may have had more information for us the viewers to get a sense of what's happening, but because the drama didn't include that, we can't use our imagination, but interpret what was presented to us. I think the problem lies in that a lot of BL novels have a very unhealthy idea of gay relationships and how they come about. I have rarely read any that have a healthy view of the progression of a gay relationship. It's not just Thai BLs...a lot of them continue to write stories about gay men and tend to use the drunk excuse for sex (which is rape). I always ask people, imagine if the character being taken advantage of was a woman? How would it make you feel?
Now, I am also conflicted when it comes to two people who are both equally drunk. I don't necessarily think it's rape, as neither can consent, but with this couple, they did not make it seem like Forth was drunk (he himself sort of said that the others that were passed out were weak)...had they both been equally drunk, I might not have been as critical. Still stupid, but not to the same degree. Believe it or not, I was actually a Forthbeam shipper from the first season even when THEY BARELY had any interactions together. I think it was because I keep seeing those "shipping" videos of Tae and Tee and I was like...oh they are adorable together. I don't have a problem with watching a drama that has "rape" scenes, so long as they address them properly or give it some real context. For instance, I hated the ending of LBC because of the Kengkla/Techno scene, but in the Beginning I was intrigued with the idea of the junior going after the senior. I guess everyone has a line they draw on what they deem okay or not, and mine is definitely the drunken sex trope used to create a relationship. It's just so wrong to me.

I totally understand where you are coming from, as I've read some of the translated material some people had before it was taken down, so I know it was worse. My point is that, I still find it cringy and unrealistic. But as I said, if some people like that, I'm not judging, but nothing about that relationship is realistic, which is why I made the comment. I don't know of any man that has drunken sex with someone who isn't able to consent and suddenly he is "love" and then proceeds to coerce that person to being their "wife" ...I just find that to be so far-fetched and toxic.
What if there is a twist in this drama that we are not thinking of yet? Like Shin and Neo having this big plan, for Shin to get rid of his father. First using Neo to seduce Shin's step-mother and cause her death (Shin wanting to teach his father a lesson...I think there is going to be a lot of drama around Shin, his mother and father's story) and also looking for a way to take over the "business" and then Shin and Neo will stay as a couple, because they've been secretly dating? It's obvious they know each other and Neo had a picture of them in his locker room right?? I would definitely give this drama a 10 if they did this twist.
