So... in the last episode, Pop seemed genuinely upset about Oat. Did Pop actually find out that Oat was raped…
IT seems like the intention with the editing is to keep the viewers guessing if both Pent and Bo went ahead with the rape. Not trying to spoil it for people here, but Oat does leave to become a monk so it could be that he did this after the rape and like many victims feels "shame, guilty, sinful" and seeks redemption through a religious cleansing. It sucks though that we don't get a clear picture of what happened until an episode later with their "flashbacks" the preview showed Bo pushing Pent away from Oat, so it appears that he is the ONE who does the raping.
Man this drama is really good. I am glad that we are starting to get the picture of what's going on, but at the same time I'm bummed since this means it's nearing the end. Ohm keeps improving with each episode and whoever is his acting coach, good job! The mom and son moment was so natural as well and I love his mother's character. She's a no-nonsense type and I really enjoy that. I realized that I'm a sucker for short dramas LOL
A perfect ending to this story would be one where P'Mes doesn't reincarnate yet, he waits for Than/Thun to live a full life. Thun likewise, grows up, lives a happy full life, but has never forgotten the love of his life P'Mes. Then when Thun is old and dies, he and P'Mes reincarnate at the same time and years later they meet in school. That would be my wish for this drama, even though I have not read the novel.
I was someone who really enjoyed season 1 and was looking forward to this. I know that they cramped as much as possible into this season, but they didn't do a good job making it look seamless. It feels rushed and out of place. The new couple makes no sense to me. Also, Pent is one of the only characters that has any real sustenance. We want to hate him, sometimes we want to clap for his lucid moments, other times he just drives the story along while the other characters linger in their self-pity party. Oat also as a character is growing, while the others just aren't doing it for me. Bo is a horrible horrible character (I said this in the first season) and they continue to make him even worse, which is actually a good thing because they are trying to show us the spiral into hell some people do in their lives. He is truly descending to evilness all because of his selfishness, but he is still the same character. There isn't anything redeeming about him. I'm still going to watch til the end. Lets hope it gets better.
My pre-review before the end of this drama:::: This is by far the best BL short drama that I have watched this year, and I would put it on my top ten list so far. I know there are 3 episodes left, but if they continue in the same manner as these past episodes, I'm in for a treat. The story line, the acting, the cinematography, the soundtrack...all of it has been amazing. You can definitely tell that the team behind this carefully selected all of these elements and have created something so heart-wrenching and warming at the same time. Singto and Ohm have an undeniable chemistry and often the viewer forgets that they have a big age gap. Singto is an amazing actor who continues to grow his craft, and likewise, Ohm has improved so much. I remember how nervous and scared this kid used to be when he first started, but here he is able to cry on cue and make it so believable. The rest of the case is equally engaging and they are good at supporting these two main actors. I am also enjoying this supernatural genre. Sometimes, dramas focused on such themes become comedic or downright unbelievable, but I am enjoying how they are treating this phenomena. Is there an afterlife? Are ghosts real, and if they are how would the behave? The answers to these questions are so simple yet satisfying. I am rooting for them, but at the same time, I know that perhaps they will not end up together in the same way we hope. Maybe P'Mes' role in Than's life is to teach him to love, to be loyal, to be caring etc. Whatever ending this gets, I've already been very happy in the way the drama has unfolded so far.
In my earlier post, I have 3 theories namely:1 - The baby at the beginning is Thun2 - Thun and Mes are somehow…
If we go with the baby being related to Mes, My theory is that the baby is actually a girl not a boy. My theory is that the girl (forgot her name) that likes Thun might be Mes's daughter which would make this into a triangle. Why would she wear the same bracelet as the woman from Mes' past? My guess the same as yours is that the woman and Mes were dating and she might have been pregnant with Mes' child. It's also the reason why Mes reacted so strongly when he first saw her in person.
I may have an answer to that specific scene. Though, it is just a guess. For Thun, he can physically touch a spirit…
Yes I believe that his ability to touch or be touched is connected to emotions. When he kicked the bag it was because he and Thun were scared of being caught by his friends. Thun on the other hand was able to touch him as a child because he needed someone to console him as he was grieving, plus him being a child he was more "innocent" and many cultures believe that children are more open to the spirit world than adults, since as we age we lose that "third eye"...That's why there are people who think that children who talk to imaginary friends are actually speaking with someone dead.
After i read the synopsis why i have the feeling that the ending will be sad :/ !
honestly, there is no other way than for it to end sad. The best we can hope is that Met and Thum end up meeting again in another life-time or that Thum learns from Met what true love can mean.So many ways it can go.
Can't get enough of Singto's acting in this. He and Ohm have real good chemistry and it's such a naturalness to them. I forget that Ohm is so much younger than Singto, because Singto acting so cutely makes him appear so young (which makes sense, since his character died while he was around 18/19)...Even if am wrong on the timeline/ages, still Singto is so adorable in this. I found myself laughing /smiling and even feeling sad when he was going through the motions. I also have a theory that once he remembers his name, we will find out that he is probably related to someone in the circle of friends that Ohm has...which would mean that the reason he hasn't "passed on" to the after life is because he has a purpose to fulfill...I wonder what that would be.
