I'm glad. I do like this drama and I've been able to watch it in some places with either Portuguese subs or raw and then days later with English. good thing I am able to understand SOME Portuguese lol.

Hi thank you for your comment. I feel your frustration and I have seen some comments about people calling others "stingy" etc...which is unfair since we don't know other people's financial situation, especially during this pandemic. Between having to pay for a subscribtion to a platform that more than likely the person won't use again (and sometimes these platforms aren't even allowed in their country and they would have to invest in a VPN as well) and perhaps using that money for something more useful, I can see why most will not pay for it. I am not knocking those that want to pay, that's their choice, but with how accessible YT has become and how it can actually be a financial investemnet for these companies, it would be nice for them to make it available there, even if it was days after it aired.

Well, I guess we just have to accept that some companies aren't interested in international fans or don't really have us as priority in their market. I do like that some companies are seeing the financial value in putting their dramas in YT or other free sites that generate money, so there is still some ray of sunshine for us out there.

This drama would have such a wide range of views if it was released on a different platform. It is so frustrating how it can't be found for hours/days unless you pay a subscription for it. Not many people are able to spend money to watch this drama that could probably generate more income through YT or Crunchyroll (etc) a las, beggars can't be choosers (though they can in a way) so now the hunt for episode 6 intensifies for most.

I am so in love with this drama because it is a bit of fresh air and different from most others that came out recently. I just wish it was easily accessible to everyone.

Anyways, Happy New Year to those still waiting for it. May we have awesome BLs in the coming years and Covid is at least controlled worldwide. May we all have our wishes/goals become a reality.

Singto could still come back. He is able to do projects with many companies, I believe he is a sort of "free agent" type of actor.

Or it can be told with them as well. what they chose to do was follow the story as it was and changed some things. Comparing two dramas done differently makes no sense, since both took elements they wanted to and told the story their own way. Also personally the Korean drama wasn't that great.

But this isn't based on the Korean drama. It is based on the Manga and the journalist are part of the story. So, kudos to the team for keeping it semi true to the souce material.

I don't remember seeing any product acts in some larkons, except when the drama starts (the usual pre-ads) so I take it since BLs have been riskier for production companies to make money, they relied heavily on Ad revenue, but at this point they don't even really need it that much. Like you said if they rely on YT and other platforms that gives them money, they can at least scale it back a bit more.

LOL, I remember those days of literal 30 seconds or more of actors having to sell the product to the audience. Kiss me was notorious for that. I agree they have gotten better and inserting them in a more organic way, but still, I don't think they need to be doing them every single episode I wish they had a cap on the number of times it can be advertised. This was a big issue here in the States too and actually, they had to come up with regulations about the way products could be "sold" in movies/shows to the point where we no longer really see it as product placement. Except maybe with the Avengers who have a whole meme out of it for years.

The misdirection is that it was being implied that they were lovers when in reality like you said it was one-sided love or Maze just being really clingy to his step-brother after losing their parents. The majority of us kept thinking they were ex-lovers.

I haven't read the book/novel (I never do cause I just don't like to spoil myself with the source material) but I am going on a limb here and say that Black found out his father is corrupt AF and is working with Tawi or some way connected and that's the fire that Gumpa is talking about. The fire that Black had in his eyes is about making his own father pay because it seems all of the ways that Black is described by others is that he has a personal vendetta against Tawi, but I wonder if it is more about his father. So now, White is also getting that same fire in his eyes because he is seeing the real way his father is. A corrupt cheating politician who gets his way with connections.

I personally dind't think it was a bad episode, but it was lacking the care that other episodes had. I am giving Aof a pass because it is hard to keep the momentum going for a drama that has quite a few plots to deal with, plus he also has to satisfy his bosses/companies with those ad placements. I think that the issue was more of editing and messiness (rushness) of the episode, but it was still enjoyable to me.
