I rewatched the latest episode and Phap is too funny...he kept peeping down Maze's shirt when they were arguing in front of the hotel door. His eyes just kept wandering down LOL..I kept asking myself..wtf is he looking at or planning, then realized that Maze's shirt was opened LOL

To me Gump seems like an ex-cop type that probably got fired for trying to bring light to soem corruption, or he was blamed for some corruption and he was innocent, but he was fired anyways. So his motivation might be for getting revenge on the police/political aspect. He seems to have tactical training thus why I am leaning towards the police or even military training.

I noticed too which is why I thought they were low-key flirting initially. LOL they have good chemistry with each other.

This was one of my absolute favorite parts of the drama! They didn't shy away from it instead solidified that Gram was in a relationship with a trans-woman and I'm here for it! When they were lowkey flirting it was so cute and then BAM they drop this "ex" thing and I was like...oh how cute. Too bad they won't end up togeher again :(

Apparently there are some scenes that were deleted....from twitter comments. It kind of did feel a bit disjointed like something was missing between Maze getting to Phap's place and then the bedroom scene. Eitherway, it didn't really take away too much from the story, but it did make me go "okay something happened between then and now"

LOL I didn't mean it in a bad way. Just that it would be the only way to actually get what's going on. I didn't even know this had a novel either, but based on comments this is different from the novel itself.

Yes he was in that one. He was such a great friend. ....The Effect...One of the few great dramas that are heartwrenching but at the same time effective in showing the dark side of many things people go through such a bullying, online harassment, rape, parents paying off victims, etc. It can be triggering for many people, so if you can avoid it for the sake of keeping yourself sane, I say don't watch it. But it was really a good drama (I guess since I am someone who works with felons and victims, I have read and seen much worse)

exactly. I have no problems with anyone who doesn't like this type of drama or genre, but I just don't get the animosity/toxicity some users have displayed. We can all agree to disagree respectfully of each other's opinion. The name calling and the anger just makes no sense.

Geez, this comment section is exploding with so much animosity.... If you don't like this drama's take on the social issues presently happening not just in Thailand but around the world, that's okay, maybe it isn't for you, but the drama is actually doing quite well in using those issues to tell a story. Of course, it's not going to be all unicorns and fluff and it might actually take on a more present role than other plots in the story. If people are looking for BL in this, well this is beyond BL. This will have more of an actual LGBTQ tone and that means that the romance with probably be a slow progressive sort of thing.

also no need to compare this with BB or any other drama that is airing right now as this is not even in the same Sub-Genre. If you want to compare even the acting it will be hard to do as each role/character is completely different. Both dramas bring something to the table that had been lacking for quite a while. Goodness, how fortunate are we to actually be able to get two great dramas? I remember 15 almost 20 years ago how hard it was for me to even find one decent copy of any BL drama from Japan and with subtitles? Forget about it!

Like I said, if this isn't your cup of tea, that's okay, but as someone who would drop this in heartbeat, I personally find that the acting is really good and the story is interesting. I am so curious to see what happens next, which means the story is keeping me engaged. If for you it isn't doing that, then no harm no foul, just maybe find something else? or keep watching it, maybe it will get better for you?

Loving it so much. I really like when dramas take on social issues and don't bastardize them...so far so good.
