Honestly, I thought it had something to do with Pran's mother being pregnant and maybe being forced to give up the child. This was something I had discussed someone else before. Like imagine she and him were dating and she got pregnant at a young age and was forced to give the baby up or even abort it. That would have been devastating as well.

Some people have stolen scholarships meant for others through many ways, paying someone off, writing a letter on the person's behalf without them knowing...it happens.

You'll love it and hate it. The characters are FLAWED AF and you'll find that you will hate them more than you will like them, but it makes sense. So bewarned. Unless you love messy drama, which it will give you. Season 1 was okay, but Season 2 was better.

Their parents' hatred for each other is justifiable though stupid, but we aren't in their shoes and to have somehting you worked hard for taking from you, that would leave such a devastating taste in your mouth. I think that what hurt the most to her was that he took the scholarship went to the university for free, but still ended up taking up his father's business when he didn't need to do all that. So she is right, he stole her future, because it seemed she had bigger dreams.

What Pat's father did as a student was Fxx up cause I know how hard it would have been back in the days to pay for a good/prestige university (still is today) so yeah he was really bad for doing that and to his best friend at that. But still, these two morons needed to leave their kids out of it.

I've watched it in English, Spanish and sometimes Portuguese and I did see differences. Also, since Spanish and Portuguese have such a wide range of dialects, many words and sayings will have so many different meanings. It is always interesting to see how one word can have so many different meanings and intents depending on the context it is used.

And French just like Spanish and Portuguese is a romance language so yeah words like Hate/Love have a MUCH stronger and deeper meaning than the English counterpart.
