Well can't really give an opinion on how I feel on this yet (as I've only watched one episode) except for some small things. I love love anything to do with Forensics, including, pathalogy and forensic investigations (if you knew my real job you would definitely understand why I love this field so much) so I am quite happy that they are treating the Forensic parts really well. I liked that we get a purpose why all of these people are involved with each other and it's because of Bun who has returned to his old village/town. This makes for a good linear story telling where hopefully we won't be wondering---how is this person tied to all of this?--and would lessen loopholes.
Now the only critique (or three LOL) I have so far is 1)the editing choices...abrupt cutting to another scene made some parts a bit wonky, but that is very minial and hopefully not something that will be too frequent in the coming episodes. 2)Text-subtitles (the timing of it seems quite fast and when they are explaining medical terms, it is hard to keep up as the characters move onto another one. So I have to slow down the video or pause it to be able to read it carefully. and lastly 3) the acting was a bit stiff in some parts, but again this might just be something that starts off that way and gets better as the episodes come out.
I hate Ton, but I almost feel bad for him because everyone in his friend group is either fooling him or knows…
Exactly! To me this is a lot more problematic. Here they have a chance not only to be themselves and take some of the weight off their shoulders for hidding, but also have an opportunity to help their friend become a more decent human being...now if Ton chooses not to associate with them after learning the truth, then obviously he wasn't their friend to beging with.
Let's see, so far I've seen 3 episodes of 13. OK, that's not much. We're about a quarter of the way into our story.…
This is what I am having a hard time grasping. Is this satire? Is this simply a badly written and executed BL drama? It's hard to tell, but I am not enjoying it as much as I was hoping. I'm actually quite annoyed with Chon, Ai and Ni that I am with Ton because I find it hard to believe that none of them have an autonomy and can make decisions for themselves regardless of losing Ton's friendship or not. For me them hidding who they are from Ton just reinforces his "toxic" views of Gay men instead of actually being honest with him and helping him understand how to be accepting of others.
For Ton, I still believe that he is just having internalized homophobia which may be due to his father. We will have to wait and see.
I do hope that this is just a satirical BL that helps drive some real points about acceptance and societal isses that need to be addressed.
I'm not a Stud-Earth shipper at all. Now that this is out of the way, this episode was underwhelming. I wish they fleshed out Cris more and also given us better hint with Music and Locker. To think he's the one she's in love with all this time. Music is a character that a lot of people may dislike, but she's been herself true and true from the start. She never said she was a "good" girl and loves to seduce people because deep down she has low-self esteem as well. you see this during her conversation with Good and how she said that she can give others great advice, but when it comes to herself, she cannot.
I'm freaking out cause I finally got the time to watch it now...lets hope my kids don't need me for anything! I'm going to lock them somewhere if they make me stop at any point! LOL...kidding I won't do that.
You know what? I don't see why Pearl has to commit to anyone at this point! From what I gather, dating a girl would…
some people don't want to play around. Some want a stable long term relationship. She obviously is a "serious" dater, meaning that she gives her all to the relationship. It was the same with Gav, she dated him for what appeared a while and when he was confused about his sexual orientation, they broke it off and she supported him.
Not everyone wants to date around to find Mr./Ms right..
As Much as I would love to credit CM...History4 had already announced this a while ago T_T but seriously so happy…
Office Romance storyline was mentioned years ago during the HISTORY 2 season but that was just ideas of plots they wanted to create. I do hope they do more "grown up" storylines though. I'm geting tired of the school plots LOL..Also wished they had done a second season of Trapped! what a missed opportunity for them.
History 4 is coming out with their office bl romance lol. CM is inspiring everyone to bring back the office romance…
As Much as I would love to credit CM...History4 had already announced this a while ago T_T but seriously so happy to keep getting more stuff from HIStory. I missed their stories.
You suffered all the way till ep 9 and then you dropped it?!? Hats off to you. I wish I could have done that.…
Yeah I don't even know how I managed to watch all the way to that point. I was really bangging my head over and over again on wasting my time on this drama. I guess because I had an attachment to Perth (Ae) from the first season that I even bothered with it, hoping it would improve. I'm so mad at myself for this! I have dropped other dramas that were not as bad as this one. >.<
