I know!!! I'm working and also on this page all day on Thursdays T_T thank goodness I work from home or my boss would have fired me a long time ago >.< (knocks on wood) ....Today is going to be another day I miss the live stream, because I have to appear in various virtual appearances, but I'm here in Spirit!!
one of my favorite pairings!! What a missed opportunity! Toya and Yukito were so cannon in my head. My kids now watch this show and they ask if they are a couple...I'm so proud! They can feel the love from these two.
My all time favorite BL was a japanese manga called Complex. I’ve read 15 years ago
That was a good one. I've got over 200 Yaoi Manga Books. I've read so many over 20 years. My favorites are My little Butterfly, Ten Count, Honto Yayuu, Hero Heelz, Jazz, La Esperanza, OTRFK, Ai no Kusabi Yellow, Rin, Mother Spirit, to name the ones at the top of my head!
Also, anyone who wants my manga books, let me know I need to get rid of them---I have read them way too many times already and they could use a good home.
Minato is so prettyhttps://www.instagram.com/p/B_4mvrWBU8w/?igshid=sjg2kjoc33b8
I know!!! T_T I have a love and hate relationship with Japan's way of filming, they don't do justice to their actors when they film in certain tones. I love Cherry Magic but some scenes makes the drama look so old school sometimes it makes the actors look strange...but they are very nice looking.

OMG yes that look!!! This is what I mean when you don't need everything to be physical to show love/adoring/lust/want you can do so much with just a single look or even a light touch of fingers....I'm dying!
How and why did the rating drop from 9.3 to 8.8 :( cherry maho deserves the 9.3
They've made some adjustments to the algorythm and nearly all dramas have dropped. Look at the main page for the "top airing" dramas in each country and most of them have dropped quite a bit. Someone said that MDL was cleaning up duplicate accounts and bots. Not sure if that is true.
I'm sorry but could you explain to me what do you mean by "violently misogynistic"? Are you equating the rape…
Why don't you give me examples of what you found in the script to be mysoginistic? Or what about the way this drama is being shot? For me this looks like the same cinematography used in many Netflix shows. The tone reminds me of those SUV episodes that deal with victims. The script has very little to do with anything other than medical jargon and building up mystery. Nothing about the script screams misogyny for me. I'm not trying to debate, but I am curious as to how you can conclude this with one episode (since you said you only watched episode one and are asking those of us who watched ep 2 if it improves in the misoginy)
question for people who have watched ep 2:so far this drama seems violently misogynistic and especially our main…
I'm sorry but could you explain to me what do you mean by "violently misogynistic"? Are you equating the rape and potential murder of one character, and the questionable death of another character as being violenty misogynistic? We don't know anything about these deaths other than they are both women and are connected to drugs. Why would you conclude that it is misogynicstic to depict this?
You can't conclude that this an act of misogyny just because the victms are women.
What if the killer was a woman? What if they were killed for being snitches? What if....there are too many unkowns for you to conclude such a thing.
Also, this drama will be about violence and death, I am sure that probably more male characters might die than women characters. Will you call it violently misandrist then?
I noticed the stiffness, but personally didn't mind the stiffness. I mean, this is Tul's first time playing a…
Oh I'm sure that the stiffness will probably lessen as the episodes progress and they get comfortable with the materila (that's what I am hoping for) so it's not a big deal for me yet, just that it was noticable. I do like Max and Tul as a pair when it comes to acting, but I'm not a big fan of their previous work, so I am really excited to see how they bring this story to life!
Well can't really give an opinion on how I feel on this yet (as I've only watched one episode) except for some small things. I love love anything to do with Forensics, including, pathalogy and forensic investigations (if you knew my real job you would definitely understand why I love this field so much) so I am quite happy that they are treating the Forensic parts really well. I liked that we get a purpose why all of these people are involved with each other and it's because of Bun who has returned to his old village/town. This makes for a good linear story telling where hopefully we won't be wondering---how is this person tied to all of this?--and would lessen loopholes.
Now the only critique (or three LOL) I have so far is 1)the editing choices...abrupt cutting to another scene made some parts a bit wonky, but that is very minial and hopefully not something that will be too frequent in the coming episodes. 2)Text-subtitles (the timing of it seems quite fast and when they are explaining medical terms, it is hard to keep up as the characters move onto another one. So I have to slow down the video or pause it to be able to read it carefully. and lastly 3) the acting was a bit stiff in some parts, but again this might just be something that starts off that way and gets better as the episodes come out.
I hate Ton, but I almost feel bad for him because everyone in his friend group is either fooling him or knows…
Exactly! To me this is a lot more problematic. Here they have a chance not only to be themselves and take some of the weight off their shoulders for hidding, but also have an opportunity to help their friend become a more decent human being...now if Ton chooses not to associate with them after learning the truth, then obviously he wasn't their friend to beging with.
