I'm so glad that this was recommended to me. I had heard about it, and forgot all about it, then @sony_t sent me the trailer! Thank you so much!! I'm so excited to watch this.

I love Techno, I’m only here to emotionally support him. And Thailand owes Mark a whole ass different, awesome…
Mark is such an underrated actor. He should really expand his porfolio onto more challenging roles.

Episode 6 gave Judah a redemption arc. He actually grew as a person. I think as a millennial we tend to have this…
Yes that also plays a factor.

That's part of the crashing and burning he will do again. This is just a front that a lot of people put when they are broken/hurt and want to appear that they are doing okay and moving on. It's an exxageration of feelings, but it will tone down as they truly do beging to slowly mature.

yes definitely the episode that we saw a glimmer of his maturity and I was glad they addressed his behaviors. I look forward to more of him.

In only 18 minutes this series managed to give these characters so much developement. And though the scenes were cliche, the story is progressing well. Judah may be a character that some people will not like so much, but I find him so facisnating and his development is so nuanced but also relatable for someone who is supposed to be between being a young adult and adulthood. His actions make sense and him being a millenial some of his attributes are spot on.

can someone help me remember Lynn's character? I found the actress in SOTUS, but I don't remember much of her…
She's the model that Two had a crush on when they were in High School. She is also the one that does the Photo sessions with Two's class.

I liked the first four episodes...afterwards not so much. Some of the decisions made by the main characters just made little to no sense. It was still enjoyable.

I really hope the Philippines start addressing the toxic family dynamics that seem to be prevalent. This show…
This is pretty common in Patriarchal Catholic/super religious countries unfortunately. The whole Machista, men most only be with women mentality is so rampant. Philippines are very devout too so it's hard for men and women to be their true selves. My sister-in-law herself had a hard time coming out to her parents because she knew how hard it would be for them to accept her (she's Filipina)

It's a lost cause at this point. I tried to engage, but some people just see things their way no matter how wrong it may be. I applaud you for even going as far as you have in your discussion. ^_^

It's okay it's not very well known because people who have this never really get diagnosed. As I mentioned, a lot of people don't believe it and it has taken Psychiatrist/Psychologists years to identify it. Some are still at odds as to why this condition happens.

This was a good episode. Judah has a lot of growing up to do specially since he is so naive/new to relationships. Rocky's attitude makes perfect sense because he has been dealing with his internalized homophobia for what appears to be a while, but with the surprise of his sister liking another girl, maybe Rocky can realize that it's okay to love who you love no matter the gender they identify with.

Wait...so first you say, Kla isn't a devious little shit who took advantage of No because Techno was "clearly" conscious and "enjoying it"...but then you say "the only problem with that was that he was drunk so his consent in the moment wasn't worth much." You can't have it both ways. Sorry...It was rape. Techno was passed out drunk when he was brought home. So much so he thought he was sleeping with his brother not with Kla. He was so drunk that his comments/thoughts were incoherent. He was so drunk that the next day he woke up and did't know what happened and Kla MADE him think that HE WAS THE ONE WHO RAPED KLA...not the other way around. Seriously, it's interesting how we as individual can all see things differently, but as someone who works in the Criminal Justice field I will tell you that this was a rape case. Lets not romantice it, lets not excuse it. Lets stop giving these toxic plot devices a pass just because it's 1) Fiction and 2) cute boys.

Someone recommended this movie to me (though I had already planned to see it but forgot all about it) and I must thank them for it. Though the movie did have some elements that were a bit farfetched, I still found this story super cute and loved the positive message it sent. I also appreciated that they didn't have women used as plot devices, but rather they were allies and central to the story in their own way.

For those that found Aam's reaction to her husband cheating and the way she handled that...I will tell you that there have been countless real stories of people who married despite being gay/lesbians and later one would come out and their spouses would be supprotive and understanding... So it isn't too out there that she would behave the way she did. It was also implied that she may be a more progressive individual even so much as her going against the norms of her family (rejecting religious dogma and being an aethist, raising her son differently from their culture etc)

in any event, kudos to the team behind this movie. It made my boring day have something good to smile about.
