Title Quaranthings: The Series Spoiler
This was a good episode. Judah has a lot of growing up to do specially since he is so naive/new to relationships. Rocky's attitude makes perfect sense because he has been dealing with his internalized homophobia for what appears to be a while, but with the surprise of his sister liking another girl, maybe Rocky can realize that it's okay to love who you love no matter the gender they identify with.

Wait...so first you say, Kla isn't a devious little shit who took advantage of No because Techno was "clearly" conscious and "enjoying it"...but then you say "the only problem with that was that he was drunk so his consent in the moment wasn't worth much." You can't have it both ways. Sorry...It was rape. Techno was passed out drunk when he was brought home. So much so he thought he was sleeping with his brother not with Kla. He was so drunk that his comments/thoughts were incoherent. He was so drunk that the next day he woke up and did't know what happened and Kla MADE him think that HE WAS THE ONE WHO RAPED KLA...not the other way around. Seriously, it's interesting how we as individual can all see things differently, but as someone who works in the Criminal Justice field I will tell you that this was a rape case. Lets not romantice it, lets not excuse it. Lets stop giving these toxic plot devices a pass just because it's 1) Fiction and 2) cute boys.

Someone recommended this movie to me (though I had already planned to see it but forgot all about it) and I must thank them for it. Though the movie did have some elements that were a bit farfetched, I still found this story super cute and loved the positive message it sent. I also appreciated that they didn't have women used as plot devices, but rather they were allies and central to the story in their own way.

For those that found Aam's reaction to her husband cheating and the way she handled that...I will tell you that there have been countless real stories of people who married despite being gay/lesbians and later one would come out and their spouses would be supprotive and understanding... So it isn't too out there that she would behave the way she did. It was also implied that she may be a more progressive individual even so much as her going against the norms of her family (rejecting religious dogma and being an aethist, raising her son differently from their culture etc)

in any event, kudos to the team behind this movie. It made my boring day have something good to smile about.

Title I'm Tee, Me Too Spoiler
Teedo is throwing temper tantrums like a 7 year old kid who wasn't given his favorite cookie or something. I was…
Teedo has misophonia like me. It was kind of embarrassing growing up with this condition for myself because certain sounds would trigger serious angry reactions out of me or would give me a headache and make me moody. I never understood why certain sounds (like chewing, bass from stereos on superhigh volume etc) would make me want to throw something violently against a wall. My parents would always say I was just being moody or it was hormones, but as I got older and started seeking professional help I was told I had this condition.

To this day I have a hard time talking to my little brother because he has a deep voice that triggers me. or sitting at the table to eat with my father who chews very loudly. You kind of learn to live with it and tolerate it as much as possible, but I get why Teedo would not want people to know. Sometimes the fear of not being believed or made fun off keeps people from disclosing a condition. Look at how when he told the girl that her chewing was the reason he broke up with her and they all looked at him like he was crazy.

So sorry for the long rant, but I wanted to give a perspective from someone who suffers the same issues.

It could have been an editing mistake. I re-watched that scene and it was definitely Rocky's mom.

I thought Rocky's mom was dead?
She is. That was the last conversation they had before she passed away. IT seems she always knew he was Gay and since he is the son of a pastor in such a very conservative country, Rocky was struggling with his own sexuality. It seems that this is going to be central to his story.

I believe they will no longer allow regular viewers/fans to do the subtitles. What will happen is that the companies/owners of the video content will have to upload the videos with subtitles already in place.

Yeah that's why I gave myself until Ep 6 to see if it turns around. I usually watch until at least half the drama to see if I want to invest my time on it. I have not watched Ep 5 yet, but I keep seeing people say it was better. I'll see what they offer this time around.

I hope not! I'm sick of the College plots LOL...I'm ready of a mature story...Trapped was such a good one and since then I've been craving something like it.

We can agree to disagree and that's okay...But Gameboys, My Extraordinary, Hello Stranger, Quaranthings...these four are enough to blow away the Thai Bls that have come out in the last 6 months. I'm not saying that Thai Bls are inferior, I am saying that if they don't step up their game, other countries taking on the BL genre will probably overtake them soon.

Yes this is so true. about those newbie/amature companies. The ones that were named by @Yvon Bosch are just a little bit of the so called bad ones, but Hello Stranger, Gameboys, Quaranthings, My Extraordinary are the ones showing the positive growth that Philippines BLs are going through.
