Teedo has misophonia like me. It was kind of embarrassing growing up with this condition for myself because certain sounds would trigger serious angry reactions out of me or would give me a headache and make me moody. I never understood why certain sounds (like chewing, bass from stereos on superhigh volume etc) would make me want to throw something violently against a wall. My parents would always say I was just being moody or it was hormones, but as I got older and started seeking professional help I was told I had this condition.
To this day I have a hard time talking to my little brother because he has a deep voice that triggers me. or sitting at the table to eat with my father who chews very loudly. You kind of learn to live with it and tolerate it as much as possible, but I get why Teedo would not want people to know. Sometimes the fear of not being believed or made fun off keeps people from disclosing a condition. Look at how when he told the girl that her chewing was the reason he broke up with her and they all looked at him like he was crazy.
So sorry for the long rant, but I wanted to give a perspective from someone who suffers the same issues.

I'm still hoping that this is all T-Rex's imagination as he is a psychology major and he seems to be the one "studying" everyone else. It would make a lot of sense and also maybe he is just not good at making friends and this is his way of trying to fix himself and created this whole story based on people that go to school with him.
