So... after watching the teaser it's basically the same Ch3 GL slop plot all their other "main couple" series have. Rich main characters who don't have any real world problems get or are together because they love each other, then grow to hate each other or simply seperate because of mommy or daddy issues even though they're full grown adults, then get back together because they miraculously had the epiphany that there was some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. And people still go "AAAHHH NEW LINGORM ITLL BE A MASTERPIECE!!!". Give me a break and please hold the industry to higher standards.

Well, the series was better than I anticipated after three episodes, but it was still not very good. The fact that there's the same actors/actresses playing the same characters in every (former) Idolfactory series was kind of annoying aswell. But you'll probably like it if you like funny/quirky storylines and don't have a problem when one main character gets engaged to a random person without telling their actual partner and then gets pissed off for 10 years because the partner broke up with them.
The main couple was pretty annoying overall outside of the comedy, but not as bad as in their first series. The worst was that May's character always got murderously jealous without any reason and then they either didn't talk at all for hours or days or the conversation went like Fay's character needs 2 minutes to almost get a sentence out while May's interrupts her 5 times in that time and then nothing is said at all in the end and Fay's got blamed from everyone.
But I like funny and quirky series so it wasn't all bad, even though the engagement part and the constant begging for forgiveness even though she did nothing wrong really got on my nerves after a while.

As an afterthought: Why was the only supposedly Japanese character in the series portrayed like a lesbian kabakura hostess? Speaking as someone who's pretty deep into Japanese culture and society, she was pretty much cringe stereotype personified.

I read "Workplace Politics" in a hospital/police/any other public instution drama and I immediately ignore it usually. But I like Matsumoto Wakana, so... anyone that can tell me if this is as stupid as most other hospital dramas in which they rather try to politic their way into money and power while completely ignoring doctors trying to save patients' lifes?

Title Denied Love
People need to have higher standards when rating a series and not just look at the actors/actresses and production value and go "this is a masterpiece!".
Denied Love wasn't the worst, but it certainly wasn't the best either. Sure, the actresses had chemistry, their acting was quite good for the most part and it was well shot, but there was 0 realism in their 10+ min per episode romantic scenes, sometimes it seemed like they were reading the script rather than communicating like real people and it was another one of those "every person in a GL has to be super rich" dramas. Those three points were even more amplified in the last 2 episodes. It seemed like they ran out of story in ep9 and instead rather shot Rin drinking and crying to herself somewhere for 30 minutes. And the awkward pauses when they were talking to each other were way worse in the last episode, sometimes it was like they waited for someone to hold up a cue card with their dialogue. The plot holes in that episode were also nothing to scoff at and it was pretty strange that they wore a normal Dress and Shirt when they went swimming in a private pool. But I'm a fan of the "cheeky person tries to soften her love interest's heart" storyline and I thought the comedy that came with that was well done. Hope these two get a better adapted story for their next drama, there's definitely potential there.

This should've definitely ended up as an anime. Then it would at least be trashy-fun. With real actors and actresses it's just cringe. The dude is cringe, the girl is cringe and the story is pretty cringe. But the one(s) with the most screen time were "Sabae's" boobs anyways, which in and of itself is super cringe.

Was the script writer or whoever came up with this drunk while writing it?I mean I get that it talks about some…
Unfortunately for the, as you correctly put it, "non-existent Korean Yuri industry" to step up their game it'll take years. South Korea is still one of the most unfriendly societies when it comes to LGBT (at least officially, don't know about the people on the streets), so you won't get any dramas backed by sponsors that are rich enough to pump money into a Yuri project any time soon.
My reasoning why I think so is Japan. For them it took about 4 to 5 years after the first BL dramas aired on mainstream TV for stations to adapt a drama centered around a Yuri romance. Right now the ratio is about 30:1 I'd guess when it comes to BL romances aired on TV vs Yuri. There's about 2 to 3 dramas with lesbian relationship representation as any kind of couple (I count it even if they only have 2 scenes or so together at a restaurant) per year vs. about 6 to 8 (just a guess from what I read on new dramas) about a BL couple as center of the story.
I'm not really familiar with KDramas, so I don't know if there was ever a BL that aired on mainstream TV... but you get the picture. I think it'll take even longer in Korea for Yuri to "catch up" with BL, or to even take the first steps, because that society is even more patriarchial than Japan.

Seconded. You know it's bad when Friendly Rivalry has a kiss and romantic tension and this doesn't. It feels like…
Well, that's what usually happens if you compare two completely different dramas. One has plot points in it the other doesn't. It would be pretty boring if every drama would be the same.
You can't go into a Japanese Yuri that's mostly comedic slice of life and about young adults thinking this'll be a full out romance. That's not how Japanese society or their "wider entertainment" industry (to include manga and literature) works. For a lot of older and more conservatice Japanese people "yuri" is still considered "a phase until the woman meets the right guy". And those people are usually who greenlight new projects for manga or tv. That's also why it's not really frowned upon, but rather "innocentified" (sorry, needed to quickly invent a new word) to no end in a lot of cases.
If you want something more mature, with more romance, watch either Otona ni Natte mo or Call Me By No Name. Or read the manga of Yagate Kimi ni Naru, it's the best Yuri/GL/Lesbian story about young adults/high schoolers ever written in my opinion (don't watch the anime, it's only half the story).

Eh, what? After reading the reviews I'm seriously confused. Did I miss something? Am I just not made out for this kind of drama? Did I watch the wrong series? Maybe it just reminded me too much of my most hated genre, 90s/00s Shoujo Manga? Where the main couple is all too often a bitter grouch or totally over confident pretty boy paired up with a little naive mouse that loves the dude without reason, can't speak or stand up herself and always begs for forgiveness even though she doesn't know what she did wrong (hint: she did nothing wrong and he's just a scumbag, see "Good Morning Call" or "Itazura na Kiss" for example).

I liked the first 6 episodes, they were really fun and light-hearted. Then it took a sharp turn into "if only they spoke the same language for roughly 15 minutes the series would be over by now" territory until Episode 11. And then it took another turn without any explanation and suddenly turned into an action-thriller? I mean, the acting was fine, their chemistry was pretty good and the second couple was also pretty cute, but I really don't think this is a good series.

Two things you can be sure of when you watch a Channel 3 GL: everybody's rich and the women all wear high heels all the time, even if they stand in a kitchen for multiple hours a day.
Did I miss something in Lin's backstory? Her mom talks about how much they struggled growing up all the time but they still live in a huge house that would probably cost a million dollars in an average small city in the US or western Europe. Why not let them all live in modest homes for a change? Then the characters would at least have some kind of illusion of realism for me.
To the series: It kind of had a "drama of the week" format feeling to me. Like all those detective series from Japan for example. One case every episode that gets solved in the same or halfway through the next and then on to the next case. The naivety of Lin and constant jealousy from Jane didn't really help. At least it was better than both TSOU and Only You, but that was mainly because of the two actresses.

A lot of half-baked plot lines. Some ideas were abandoned half-way through or even right away before they could form. "Jane" often behaved like a grade schooler who needed to be fed how society and sexuality works. The acting was pretty awkward, especially at the beginning of the series, but the more they knew each other as characters the better it got in my opinion. The directing and camera work was also pretty shaky. All those strangely timed closeups when more than two people have a conversation completely threw me off at times, especially when the camera cut to people who weren't even speaking and they looked like they aren't supposed to be on screen right now.
It's a "switch your brain off" comedy with some pretty funny scenes, not more, not less. Which is absolutely not a bad thing in Thai GL, with all their "life or death" and "getting controlled by other people or their own demons" scenarios.
Also, I don't know how (university) students in Thailand talk... but the americanization of the subtitles on WeTV was absolutely horrifying. Like "slay" and "throw shade" etc, almost as bad as Netflix subs for Japanese media. I was actually just waiting for a "you're cooked, bro" or something. Please just translate accurately, there's no need for current "US slang terms" in subtitles.

Finally! I thought I was going crazy 🫠 This Serie is stupid as hell and everybody seems to love it so much.…
To be completely honest, I didn't even really notice the crying because there were too many inconsistencies and bad writing in every episode that distracted me from what was actually going on. I also probably skipped a good deal of it because, I guess, that happened in a lot of scenes that didn't make any sense for me, like when her father literally imprisoned her.
I'm not a fan, to say it lightly, of those two either way... They get way too much PR for the actual quality of the series (plural, I gave TSOU a 5/10 or something) they act in and the only chemistry they have together, in my honest opinion, is on a red carpet as each other's accessory. From what I read so far, their 3rd series will be the exact same as the first two, a lot of melodrama, crying and parent problems, so I'll probably skip that one completely.

I've rarely seen a drama/series with so many forgettable characters assembled into one story. I've seen a few comments speculating they tried to find a new couple that clicked with the audience... but if I'm honest it had the opposite effect on me. Next time there's a drama with any of them I'll think twice if I even watch it. The drama is basically 4/5ths just them doing odd tasks in teams of 2 while one is flirting with the other who seemingly has no romantic interest and then somehow these teams were all couples in the last episodes.

I've also seen YouTube mini-series with more production value than this. It's like they put all their money in make up and outfits and forgot that there's more to a series than that. All in all the second worst full-length Thai GL I've seen so far (but still better than B-Friend).

Edit: I almost forgot... Does anyone know why this girl "Wolf" is completely missing in the group pictures at the beginning and end of episode parts? She has some of the most screen time in the first few episodes, but it's like she's not even part of the main cast.

they cause they’re nonbinary
Seems like you don't know much about Asia and their school-, especially all-girls-school, culture. It has nothing to do with me being straight (I'm ace if you want to be exact). And it's not an identity, it's a sexual orientation. Regardless, to give you a non-Thai example of what I was eluding to (in my parenthesis): One of my best friends, who taught at a Japanese all-girls' high school for over a decade had, on average, five couples per year in her courses. And she remembers maybe three or four students out of at least 50 from those couples who actually (admittedly) had a romantic same-sex attraction after they left high school because she was kind of interested what became of them a few years later at reunions. Some of them even married while still in or shortly after university. It's called "experimenting", "curiosity", "romantic friendship" or even "queerplatonic" if you want a modern term, just to give a few examples.
Look, I'm not saying that they can't be LGBTQ just because they went to an all-girls' school, it's just that it doesn't mean "I'm bi/a lesbian" if a Thai GL actress says she was in a same-sex relationship once when she was at such a school. Most of the time they just give a non-committed answer anyways if they're asked about their orientation to not drive away people who like fan service, just like their patented "love is love".

also keeping on because of yuri LOL. and yeah, this is the male lead's acting debut, he only entered showbiz this…
Unfortunately that happens way too often. This is probably the most annoying thing in the Japanese entertainment industry. Idols are the absolute kings/queens of TV and they get drama roles handed on a silver platter if they are in a high budget group or on enough popular magazines. There's so many dramas that could have been good and got ruined because they had to cast some talentless idol, just to promote them or their group. Best example is gravure Idol Asakawa Nana and every drama she starred in as an important character, at least until 2024. She has absolutely no talent for acting and only gets cast because her scantily clothed boobs are on a lot of popular magazines.

I wanted to wait till I complete it (ep11/14 now), but I don't know if I will get there, been skipping a lot since ep5 or 6 I think. Sorry for the long comment in advance. Edit: I gave up in Ep13, the "script" finally hit stupidity rock bottom for me.

What is this? This seems like they had a budget of 500k USD and used up 495k on the actors, their make-up/clothes and the sets. There was no thought going into the script or the story, at all. Just to name one example, how is it possible, especially in the age of social media and parasocials going crazy, for a father to imprison his 24 year old (!!!) successful idol/singer/entertainer daughter for days without any kind of reaction from fans or media? If she's ill, she could at least make a statement on her social media accounts or whatever, but he even took her phone away. She has her own income, house and everything, there's no rational reason why that should be possible. That was the point for me when I thought "ok, let's just skip through it".
But there's so many idiotic decisions going on here. The bodyguards with the 5cm long penny heels. The "almost deadly wound" from which she bled so much that she almost fainted, but they were probably afraid to make her 1% less beautiful, so they went with a graze that looked like she got scratched by a cat. The "generational backstabber" accusations are extremely crazy, too. I know Asian culture is a lot of "like parents, like child", which is pretty stupid, but this series cranks it up to eleven because she didn't even grow up with her father except for a few years, when the stepbrother tried to bully her and she didn't want anything to do with her family even then. The constant slow motion everytime they're close, even without resulting in a kiss, which would be annoying enough, is extremely taxing aswell, but that's more a subjective opinion I guess.

Second worst "produced for TV" Thai GL I've seen so far (after B-Friend). Do better Channel3. Don't only invest in things to look good, actually make it good. I was gracious because their acting was pretty good and gave it a 3/10.
