first of all, i don't know why you are so hell bent on defending those large ass business corporations. i'm pretty sure that they'll do very well and make a lot of money even if a handful of people criticize them. secondly, korean youth (which btw this drama is anyways directed to) is pro lgbtq for the most part. its the older generation which is largely homophobic but the korean genz are mostly fine with it. thirdly, they should cast the actors who are comfortable with it in the first place! also i don't think the directors/producers deeply care about the actors' personal beliefs (like you do) so it would turn out just fine. the problem isn't who soohyun dates, the problem is that they straightwashed him. as far as i'm concerned, he could end up alone for the rest of his life but the problem is that the person who was written by the creator was not straight.
i will blame kbs if i want to! and i am blaming them! byeeee!
i don't understand what's so wrong about dam calling woo yeo 'sir'? my mom and dad worked in an office before they got together. he was her boss so she called him 'sir' and out of habit, she still sometimes calls him that. no matter how hard i try to, i just can't for the life of me understand why that is creepy in any way but to each their own, i guess....
for the first time in a very long time, i actually dislike the SML a lot. i am not caught up on all of the episodes but dang, that guy gets on my nerves. the ML is cute and nice and even though he is not perfect, he is still a million times better than the SML. also, hyeri and JKY's chemistry is pretty good.
ps: if u compare the SML to han seojun, then there's something wrong with you.
I can forgive a cheater, but I will never get back together with him, especially when the cheating is premeditated.…
i don't understand how anyone can compare this show to tharntype considering the SA, the dubious consent and many other disgusting tropes in that show. ipym has the cheating trope and in no way, am i defending people who cheat but it happens a lot in real life whether we like it or not. teh is not a good person but he's not a bad person either compared to tharn who is a perpetrator with type as his victim. you can't compare the literal crimes that happened in tharntype to the cheating in ipytm.
this show doesn't hurt because its sad (which it is) or because its showing something completely out of this world but this show hurts because of how realistic it is. i'm not saying something people haven't heard before, of course itsay and its second season- ipytm are realistic but its the way that the realism is conveyed which feels natural and not forceful at all.
rather than treating death as something opposite to life, this show treats death like its the very part of life. a very unique and refreshing take on what happens when people die and how closure is important for those who continue on living. ignorance is bliss but knowing and understanding what happened to your loved ones is cathartic and satisfying.
this show is very unfunny and the acting is mind numbingly horrible but.................. i might as well complete the whole thing for minnie or not (depending on how much more horrible it's gonna get)
i wanna watch this drama but i'm so conflicted because of the comments here. i just completed law school and youth of may and they were both 10/10 dramas for me so my expectations are really high right now......
i was just thinking how the first episode kinda hinted that myung hee will die at the end. remember when the blood splashed over her face (at first, i was like - oh sweet home vibes) when she was treating that patient? i think i could just be looking too much into it but it could be foreshadowing.
just finished it and i am feeling so many things that i can't really describe in words but its definitely the best kdrama of this year......... and one of the best kdramas i've ever watched. its so beautifully made, wonderfully directed, well acted and interesting.
such an amazing drama......... i loved all the characters and the scene between kang sol a and kang sol b was so cute! prof yang was iconic throughout the whole show and really stole the show with his charisma. also i'm really happy they kept sol a and joon hwi platonic till the very end. i will really miss this drama so much!!
when yee seul finally started speaking during the end of the 12th episode, it was the most gut wrenching part of the show for me. i couldn't help but think..... what did she do so wrong that she is being tried? the SA and the violence he committed towards her was never punished but her self-defense against that pathetic excuse of a human being was what led her to that court where she was being asked questions like 'why didn't u go to the police then' or prosecutor jin's disgusting remarks. the actress who plays her also does an amazing job! this kdrama is really talking about stuff that matters and treats matters like SA and r*pe carefully and in the way they should be handled. kudos to the writer and also the actors of the show.
i will blame kbs if i want to! and i am blaming them! byeeee!
me: *cries*

ps: if u compare the SML to han seojun, then there's something wrong with you.
