what is it about aoey that i just can't stop feeling bad about him?
like he really is not that good of a person and even though it is because of his trauma, he should still be held accountable for his actions. tbh after he texted gene that he had slipped in the pill in nubsib's drink, i was like 'REPORT HIM GENE' but he didn't roofie sib? it was a prank? i was even more confused. he didn't roofie the drink because gene is always so nice to him but he made him think that way anyways so in a way it was even worse for gene. yeah i totally hate what aoey did but i still can't help but sympathise with him.

his crush on gene makes more sense that his crush on nubsib did. gene is always nice to everyone and in return, people are nice to him. gene has supportive parents (ACCORDING TO AOEY), friends who care about him (tum, hin), nubsib and even some of the fans like him over aoey. aoey doesn't actually like gene for gene, he likes the idea of him. he likes what gene represents. that is why, the photos he had of gene included one with his mom- now this is not a big thing but it shows that he'd also like to have a family who loves him like gene does.

so yeah aoey's character is frustrating but he's not a downright evil and nonredeemable villain like in most of the bls and i really didn't expect this show to have this much depth. although i have to say that mohk's character is very underwritten and his scenes are pretty underwhelming.

i would literally do anything for jang han seo to be an actually good person and he did what he did as per vincenzo's instructions

i hope they leave this beautiful series as it is and instead of making a second season,they should make another bl with earthmix as the leads

i was so uncomfortable during the confrontation scene. i felt so.......weird and nervous as if it was happening to me. i can't imagine how people who actually go through that feel. no one deserves to feel like they are committing a crime when they are literally just loving another person. everyone deserves to love who they want to love. this was a rich family in a country like thailand where gay marriage is legal and their families still can't accept them being together.... we have a very long way to go.

also, i don't know if this was the writer's intention or the director's intention but the scene with nubsib and gene's mothers had so much symbolism. both orn and run here represent the BL fangirls who think that two boys being together is 'cute' and is something worth gushing over (basically fetishising queer people) but they can't accept the fact that their own sons are actually together and have a serious relationship and that they might actually get married someday just like sooo many bl fangirls i've met who are actually homophobic in real life OR if they are accepting- they only care about watching two boys kissing each other. they don't care about equal rights for queer people or anything that might benefit the lgbtq community. the media wants to make money off of the lgbtq community and the straight audience wants to consume the hell out of it but it does not consider them as their equals. even if they are supportive of the lgbtq community, how many of them would accept their own family members being anything other than straight?

damn....... this drama just hits different......... the plot is interesting, the leads have amazing chemistry with each other, the actors are amazing and its funny as well. song joong ki and yeo bin are sooooo good in their roles! i don't think anyone else would've done a better job playing vincenzo and cha young than those two.........

dots is my fav kdrama but it MIGHT get replaced by this one....

"because he behaves like any female lead in a Thai romcom" plsss this bothers me so much because i relate to gene a lot. i am an introverted person with anxiety issues and i connected to gene a lot because he does and says stuff, i definitely would in real life. all these hate comments about gene's personality makes me feel that some of guys really hate people with anxiety and people who are not social.

ok sooooooo aoey finally showed his true colors and........ are we even surprised?

so we know that something about aoey's past really messed him up. his family sucks and i think he has no one close in his life except tiffy but she is his manager so its kind of a more professional relationship. i personally don't think aoey LIKES nubsib- i mean sure, he can be a little infatuated with him but he doesn't like nubsib for nubsib, he likes nubsib because he doesn't want to be lonely and wants someone to love him. i feel bad for him cause at least on the surface level, he does not seem like a bad person. he is just a person who wants to be loved. however.............he can still do really horrible things because it is a fact that desperation drives even the best of people to do the worst of things. i might feel bad for him now, but the more desperate he becomes, the more pathetic and unlikable he becomes.

ooff i actually binged the first six episodes but the waiting feels like torture now

ikr........ bingeing a series is so satisfying. i picked this show up as soon as atots ended and i had no expectations at all but this show is actually so good and now i am back to waiting for an episode per week.

its almost like some of you want them to be step-brothers....... its almost like some of you want gene to be a pedo. is everything okay with some of y'all?
