He is somehow affected by her presence, in the most subtle ways at the moment, cos the writer does not want to make it too obvious as they want to focus on Woo Hak at the moment. But mostly it could be guilt, or maybe he is scared that Mok Ha will blame him for not coming with her or for her disappearance. Mok Ha has talked about Ki Ho with Woo Hak only at the moment, so Bo Geol only knows what Woo Hak tells him so he is confused about what Mok Ha thinks. Also maybe he wants to protect her from his father as well, maybe they have had interactions already, or simply he wants to hide his identity because he promised his mum or something, they made sacrifices to hide his identity for many years to protect him from the father...

Yeah, plus Mok Ha and her friend call him new kid in the first episode, when they're looking for a phone so Mok Ha can take her fancall with Ran Joo. His family is definitely not from the island x

I personally really like her as an actress. I've seen her in Hospital Playlist S1 and Reborn Rich only, so I might not have the full picture and these are roles that brought her a lot of popularity, but she was good and had unique chemistry with her male costars. I feel like people are like this cos those two roles back to back were pretty calm and stable. People easily call actors bad when their roles are not loud, and they believe she takes similar roles all the time, but I think that she has range and variety, she is an empathetic and composed actress in my opinion, and I always enjoy watching her :)

Omg, I don't know how I survived 3 years!! 1 month to go!!

Yes, it's her. The song was released today and the singer is Park Eun Bin. She also sang a snippet of the song live during the press conference, and it sounded just as amazing live. She previously sang an OST from Attorney Woo as well and I think that she has such an angelic voice

Also, personally, for me, Bo Geol is the real Ki Ho. I feel like he ran away, found his mum and started doing music because of Mok Ha, as a way to honour her. He also mentioned Ran Joo, when nobody else thought of her, and even went to see her, cos maybe he had been listening to her songs and following her career all these years cos she was Mok Ha's idol. I feel like the viewers, Woo Hak included, will believe that he is the real Ki Ho but I feel that Bo Geol's character and persona are more similar to what Ki Ho was. Also, the way he reacts when Ki Ho is mentioned and keeps denying that Woo Hak is Ki Ho as if to say "Of course it's not you, I am Ki Ho". The young actor they cast was so on point, cos he looks a bit like both Chae Jong Hyeop and Cha Hak Yeon, to further add to the confusion. I could be completely wrong, but they are making it a bit too obvious that Woo Hak is Ki Ho with memory loss in high school due to a head injury and the quote from the mother, so in these cases, the scriptwriters do this on purpose to add to the drama and mystery quotient. Plus, in episode 1 we saw Ki Ho at the station where Mok Ha was supposed to meet Ran Joo and her manager and the time leap scenes of him growing up and still going to the place, probably when he thinks of Mok Ha, which means the real Ki Ho remembers Mok Ha.

In the end, I want the best for Ki Ho and I just hope they did not kill his character or something, that would be the worst outcome, so it doesn't matter which actor is playing the real Ki Ho, I'm loving it no matter what :)

I thought only the first episode made me emotional, but I found myself tearing up yet again. Park Eun Bin is such a talented and dynamic actress, she portrays her characters so beautifully that you feel all their emotions as you watch them. I love this so much and I can't wait for next weekend... it's going to be a long and painful wait TT

Oh, I just went to see and you're right. But there was a romance tag there until yesterday, so maybe someone edited it out.

I think the two male leads might be brothers, as Ki Ho's father mentioned his mother, and she probably escaped the abusive husband with maybe her other child, or maybe she got remarried and Ki Ho has a half-brother. Both male leads have the same surname, and Ki Ho could very well have escaped from his father as he was always planning to do before he got to know Mok Ha, and went to Seoul, changed his name like he told Mok Ha to do and met his mother. We can see Ki Ho at the station where Mok Ha was supposed to meet Ran Joo and her manager, and it was in Seoul, plus some time leap scenes of him growing and still going to the place, probably when he thinks of Mok Ha.

Honestly, this was just a thought that popped into my mind last night as I was falling asleep lol, but let's see how this unfolds :)

EDIT - Omg omg, I have an update on this: I randomly went on Wikipedia to check the genre tags and they say that Cha Hak Yeon's character is the older brother of Chae Jong Hyeop's character. So I went on the source and it's an official Korean article that came out when Cha Hak Yeon's casting was announced and it indeed says that the two are brothers!! So this info was out there all along and we did not see it lol

I hope they can somehow explain or show how she survived all these years and where she got all that stuff from. Like I can imagine some stuff coming to shore after being lost at sea by boats/fishermen, but all those umbrellas were kind of funny T T

The first episode shows nothing about the love triangle, and the love triangle is a deduction from what we have seen so far from teasers and promo posters. The first episode shows the teenage years of Mok Ha, her backstory and how she ended up on the island, and we are introduced to just one of the potential male leads. I hope this helps :)

I remember them calling him new kid in the first few scenes, when Mok Ha was looking for a telephone. So the accent made sense as he might've moved from somewhere else.

I think he probably changed his name when he managed to get away from his dad. He's at the station in Seoul where Mok Ha was supposed to meet the manager in his last few scenes, so he probably went there after running away from his dad and changed his name.

Ikr that scene was horrible to watch, and everyone was just standing. Plus his own father being a police officer and treating him that way, I was so angry for both kids
