I miss Peak Time and all the talented contestants so much. This was by far the best survival show I've seen, all the performances and talent were otherworldly. I still rewatch Bad by Christopher to this day and scream every single time, the amount of talent in that performance group was insane.

It's because the last episode airs today, so after the clocks strike midnight on the day the drama ends, it stops showing it as airing on MDL :)

that last episode ripped my heart into pieces... Kim Mi Kyung, the insanely talented actress that you are. I have no words, just tears in my eyes. And Oh Jung Se, this role was made for him, he was amazing

It's due to scheduling issues as he is shooting for his upcoming dramas.

I really didn't expect Madam Ju to die, I loved the relationship Do Hee and her shared. When I saw that scene my heart broke as it was so shocking and sudden. I hope Do Hee finds a family and love with Gu Won, she's surrounded my enemies everywhere TT

Okay, now the actual story is really starting. This is my favourite episode so far, I feel like the first two episodes were lighter in mood and gave an intro to the banter and chemistry, and all the characters but now we are finally delving into the most important part of the story: the mystery, the drama, the secrets and past of Gu Won are finally being hinted and it is going to be perfect to watch going forward. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode, the contract marriage part is going to be so entertaining to watch!!
Gu Won cracks me up every single time he comes on screen, but today we saw the softer side to him. I hope to see more of this side in the next episodes ♡

Wow, the first episode was really beautiful. The emotions, the anticipation, the cinematography and the music were immaculate. I have not watched the original but I have been waiting for this since the first teaser dropped as it gave me such calm and peaceful vibes... The two main leads, especially the male lead really gripped me with his facial expression and acting. Really looking forward to how this will unfold :)

Exactly. Subs should be given the same amount of time, care and attention as any other element that makes a drama, be that editing, OSTs or VFX. Especially now that more and more people around the world are giving so much love and attention to kdramas in general, but still glad we get to see them anyways x

I feel like for now the only downside for me is Netflix's translation of the subtitles... In so many cases they sound so off, I know that overall, the comedy could be seen as poor and the plot rather basic until now but it's the subs for me... When it comes to kdramas on Netflix so many times I see that they try to translate them in an English way, completely ignoring the fact that by doing so some dialogues and scenes completely lose sense as some things are very specific to a certain language and country, and the culture and traditions therefore. More recently even in Castaway Diva, some jokes or dialogues are completely different from the original in Korean, and at times they are so obvious that you can literally hear them say something completely different in Korean and the translation in English is just completely wrong. They should really do a better job, this ruins the experience and the dialogues sound so awful at times if you start paying too much attention.

I like the story so far, they're chaotic and funny but the actual contract marriage part has not started yet and it might pick up from there and get even better going forward. But personally, I like the acting and the first two episodes really managed to set the tone and introduce characters and the background a bit... I am expecting the demon/fantasy concept to become a bit more serious and delve deeper going forward, as it seems pretty light and funny at the moment but I really loved it so far. I love fantasies in modern settings, they're my favourite genre, so I am going to take it week by week ♡

I cannot believe that next week it will be the last two episodes. And everything looks so good from the preview, I am so excited but at the same time I can't grasp the fact that 6 weeks went by so fast. I looked forward to Saturday and Sunday the whole week and would rush everything on those days so that I would be ready and sat when the episode dropped on Netflix. Castaway Diva was so much more than I expected, I looked forward to this so much and I am so happy with all the actors, and their characters. Such a beautiful story, it will be so hard for me to let them go next week... I barely coped with not having Twinkling Watermelon anymore but now this TT

Fall/Winter 2022 really is really giving us the best stories and characters ♡

That's exactly what I want to see!! Honestly, that smile took me so by surprise, I did not know he had such a bright and cute smile, that it would be such a shame if I don't see one in each episode TT

Loved how this started. Joseon Kang Tae Ha was so cute, I literally fell in love with Bae In Hyuk's smile. I know modern Tae Ha is going to be somewhat colder, but I can't wait to see more cute moments between Yeon Woo and him ♡

I literally cannot get the scene of the cake and Gu Won out of my mind. Like man was obsessed with his poor cake but couldn't even get a bite TT His expressions when the other guy stopped his fork twice and the way he sulked over it throughout the rest of the episode, he was so adorable lol. Please, someone get him a whole cake shop TT

Do Hee and Gu Won are so funny and chaotic together I seriously can't!!! And they look so stunning together, I'm so happy they've been cast in a drama together.

I loved the intro and the overall fantasy vibes surrounding Gu Won, everything around him is so beautiful and aesthetic: the office/foundation and the people that work for him are giving major Goblin/Hotel Del Luna vibes and I'm such a sucker for fantasy dramas in a modern setting, but with hints of historical too. I've been counting the days for this drama and the first episode did not disappoint, this is such a perfect winter drama ♡
