Like I have said many times before, neither right or wrong, they measure different things they measure different stats. But someone else did comment above my other post yunhe is more important. But thats up to each person to decide. But again you're missing the point. You have no issue when people post Maoyan data praising the drama just like you just did, but have an issue when I mention yunhe data. You're unconsciously defensive about the drama, just because in Yunhe it's ranked 7th, this is not a criticism, why can't you understand that. It will improve, I am sure it will go higher and higher, probably higher on the 19th already. You don't need to get defensive about things. People are allowed to criticize. You are ok with Maoyan data but not ok with Yunhe data, ask yourself why.

You are right about that, definitely a dark horse glory was, idk maybe my expectation were too high base on reservations etc. It's not doing bad on yunhe but my expectations were higher I think.

I think you're confused with kuyun, kuyun tracks tv and online views, while yunhe track online views only for streaming platform. But they both track viewership for all kinds of dramas, tv dramas and web dramas.

And to be clear I am not criticizing, as I said in other comments, it's only day 2 and yunhe goes up the longer a series airs, especially when thriving lands ends I'm sure it will go up massive like I said. But the person asked how its doing in china, and viewership wise its low right now. Nothing wrong with that, and again I am to criticizing. You're so defensive about this drama like AB said above, it's toxic supporters like you that hurt this forum. You see one potential criticism and loose it. Depends on where you are, but maybe never. Right now Disney plus has global distribution, releasing in America on the 26th apparently, can also check viu or mztv YouTube. Only available on tencent/wetv in a couple certain asian areas besides china.

Neither is better as they measure different things. Why are you not telling people that post Maoyan chart data not to talk about 'data this and that?' Some people just can't take negatives. It is doing well on Maoyan and not doing well on Yunhe, thats facts. I also hope it does well on both, as I feel this is a really good drama and deserves to do well on both. But why you only saying don't talk about data when it comes to yunhe, not to all the people that comment about to doing well on Maoyan or other charts. I am not criticising the drama, just sharing information. No need to get defensive, this person asked a question and I provided an answer. If someone wants to know how well it's doing, I answered based on facts, and Maoyan and Yunhe track two different metrics. Both are important, neither is more important than the other. There is no brainwashing, just providing facts and information and context. Thats what mdl is for, it's not just for blind support of a drama. I never said yunhe or Maoyan is better, both are important, neither is better than the other. Moonlit is doing very well, as I have said in other comments. I was simply answering the users questions. MDL is for discussion, not just for blinding supporting a drama.

No problem and yeh you're right heat index only counts for mainland china, those using the tencent website/app. Honestly 26k heat index after 2 days is very good, very similar pace to prisoner of beauty and the glory which both reached 30k (only 2 drama's this year to do so), so if all goes well this should as well!

I think right now a combination of it being new, yunhe normally rises as the show goes on and also thriving land is taking a lot of viewership, it's been a surprise mega hit. Once that ends not he 23rd, we'll see numbers go up across the board.

For context on yunhe highest drama daily views on the 18th was thriving land with 87million and a market share one 37%, thats online only not tv. Moonlit was at 11 million with 4% market share, for its budget and where it should be, its not good, but thats not the shows fault, honestly thriving land is just a huge hit no one saw coming. In comparison When destiny brings the demon is at 18 million views 7% market share, and thats been airing longer. Normally, these stats go up as the show airs. A high Maoyan ranking doesn't mean viewers watch till the end as Maoyan is highly inlfuenced by things like social media buzz. I would agree that for this yunhe is better then kuyun, as there's no tv presence. When thriving land ends on the 23rd numbers wilily go up massively

It reflects social media popularity on site like doubin and Weibo which is good don't get me wrong, but does not mean viewers are watching til the end. Yunhe and kuyun don't just track how many people are clicking on it, they also track market share. You are right if a drama isn't trying on kuyun and yunhe means it hasn't reached a wide enough audience. Also Yunhe provides live tracking as the shows airs so also shows who is sticking with it and who is not. Again, neither is better than the other, they measure different metrics. All I'm providing is context, viewership and market share wise, moonlit reunion hasn't been as high as some people think. Hoping it will improve but it's unfortunate that it's airing at the same time as an unexpected mega hit thriving land (haven't seen it but viewership numbers are crazy). When thriving land airs on the 23rd, numbers will likely go up massively so looking forward to that
