You literally said in a comment down below you're not gonna bother to watch this drama. So why you even here? Nothing wrong with criticism everyone can have their opinion, thats fine, but from someone who said they won't even bother to watch the drama, why you keep coming back to comment.

I see some people getting a bit worried of Ye Li’s character based on some reuters, and I can definitely understand, but let’s not jump to conclusions. There have been recent reuters of a scene where a grandma or older lady hits her with a stick but also in that scene she is seen fighting back/stopping the stick (not sure if thats the scene everyone is talking about before). Maybe she got hit, maybe she fought back after, we don't know how it will be cut or what it means. Reuters can be of anything, flashbacks of her weaker days, a scheme to play innocent/weak or just extra footage. So let’s not pre-judge, Bai Lu knows how to pick scripts and she like never picks a weak female character. I can’t remember her ever picking a weak female character, especially recently, so let’s not let some reuters take down our excitement. Let's relax and keep the hype up! I believe while it won’t be completely the same, Ye Li will keep her strong, fierce and dependable character from the novel.

I am praying this is good. The cast is really, really good in my opinion. The director and screenwriter are decent but not amazing based on their previous works (although the screen writer is super new). So I'm just praying they don't let us down and deliver what we expect.

The novel is like 2400+ chapters. Wang Chan in the novel is just a minor antagonist, early in his journey that is soon overshadowed by stronger ones. But the drama is making him the main antagonist for this season/drama and will likely leave an open ending or maybe a season 2 (hopefully). But he definitely is a villain.

The seven mysteries sect is like a martial arts sect for mortals. Thats why they feared Han Li and wanted to ambush him/make him leave. They fear immortals.

Yeh thats true actually, some people go crazy when something deviates from the novel. But yeh the trailer didn't give too much away but just enough to get you thinking.

Would be intriguing, thats what's good about an original IP. Even though I love spoilers, it's exciting not to know who's on what side.

Don't trust the MDL episode guide thing or upcoming episode thing it's often wrong, they thought ep 17 and 18 aired yesterday along with ep 16, thats why it's showing 19.

I get your point she definitely looks suspicious, and like a villain for sure. But in the trailer she's actually a part of the crew, and apparently someone else commented that she has a romance with white dragon eventually. But she definitely looks sus I'm wondering how she ends up joining the gang..

Be warned though, season 1 pretty good, season 2 the so called sequel is so bad. Completely new cast and starts of at a different point from s1, but still called a sequel.

Hahaha this feeling is so true. I said below in a comment, one episode days are killer, but the thrill and excitement of watching a new show live makes up for it. Getting at least an episode a day of a cdrama is already so blessed compared to like US or kdrama shows, but whenever there is a good show I can't help but get greedy.
