We don't know how much time exactly passed between all this, but probably only a few days, maybe weeks between consort jin's death and prince jin's death. Then probably a few weeks, between prince jin's death and Wan parents death. Honestly timeline doesn't matter too much, just basically, Wan spent time in medicine valley as a kid/growing up way before anything happened. Then consort jin died, a few days or weeks later, prince Jin, then a few weeks later Wan family. We're never told exactly how long between all these, just my opinion.

Jin was not the empress's son. He was the son of another concubine and the emperor but its never revealed who exactly his mother was. Just that he was the oldest prince. You're right about the rest, Consort jin was the emperor (his father's) consort, he was accused of trying to rape and kill her.

Yeh they probably will mention it later when he's upgrading, but they should have mentioned it before so it makes sense why he goes into danger.

Yeh they haven't introduced this in the drama and maybe they won't because it happens after ages, but his world is known as a lower realm. Theres middle realms, upper realms and even more above that. So his world is like the bottom of the bottom. So they don't know how good his spirit roots are when he becomes stronger. They just know at low levels it's really slow.

Yeh exactly the problem with 4 spiritual roots, and this world, is that its requires a lot of spiritual energy, where as the world they are in now doesn't have much. So during the low levels it's difficult to upgrade. But deity transformation and above, it's really helpful, and gives him an advantage over others and ability to grow stronger faster. But the world they're in now wouldn't know this, they just see it as bad because it takes a long time to cultivate during low levels.

I think it's also that they're low level, there's a spoiler I can give for those that want it about the head of the sect. The head of the sect is a jerk and does something really bad later that kind of shows how high level cultivators treat low levels. They pretty much don't care about low level cultivators.

I'm not sure if it will be the same in the drama, but in the novel and donghua he needed a lot, and I mean a lot of foundation pills to level up because his talent/spirit root is so bad. He needed way more than 2, so his only option is to go and get the ingredients even though it's dangerous, otherwise he doesn't know where else he can get them from. But thats just in the novel, not sure if when he levels up in the drama as well, he will take a bunch of pills or if two is enough.

Theres no chance they can fit the entire novel, the novel is 2400+ chapters, so there's like no way that happens. As for the donghua, it's 150ish episodes still on going. It's going at a pretty good pace so far though. I think it will just have an open ending. As for season 2, who knows.

I agree, she should definitely keep her distance properly. Even when she said she would never talk to him again, she keeps going back. But I just wanted to ask, is he her ex? From what I understood, they were never together? but to be fair subs are so bad I'm not sure.

Seriously, this drama deserves way more than a 7.9 in my opinion. I understand it's not for everyone, it's not action packed, not heavy on the romance, not a mystery thriller. But it's just a nice, stress free, healing type drama. It's exactly what it tries to be. It doesn't try to do too much.The drama knows what it is and sticks to it. The friendships are great, and the simple and understated romance is perfect for this type of drama. Everyone gives great performances all round. For cdrama lovers kind of reminds me of Meet yourself. Not the same story, but I mean the vibe and simplicity. Just my opinion though, obviously each to their own, everyone has different taste and if its nit for you thats ok.

Namkoong Min does not miss, idk if he chooses the scripts himself or his agent or whatever, but I swear he picks great scripts and he himself is perfect for like any role. Like how does an actor play this character in Our movie, while also playing the character in the veil. The range is nuts.

Haha I've seen that too, I like the pace overall so far. I think the first couple episodes were just right to introduce the cultivation world. But each to their own, I can understand some people saying it was slow because now days cdramas like to have really exciting or action packed/cliff hanger first episodes to draw viewers in, but this isn't that kind of drama and I like it.

Love Our movie, Namkoong min never disappoints. So glad it got 8.4, should be even higher, but while it was airing and I was watching, when it was below 8, thats was insane.

Honestly, I see no reason for this drama to be rated 7.9, so low, so quickly. Like, the only thing I could think of is maybe the first 2/3 episodes are a bit slow (which I personally disagree with), we're just getting started, I found it nice to be slowly introduced to the story and cultivation world. It's getting better each episode so far. The drama really grows and gets better and more exciting as the ML grows I reckon. Let's just enjoy watching the ML grow stronger. It might not be for everyone, but let's not judge it so quickly. I'm enjoying the ride so far. Should definitely be higher than 7.9 in my opinion.

I don't care about anyone else but please give Kai a happy ending. Ok I'm joking about the not caring about anyone else, but he's still my favorite character. Him and Fang Ya En's son have some of the best scenes. Hope he gets a proper and happy ending as well as ML and FL.
