But in the trailer she's actually a part of the crew, and apparently someone else commented that she has a romance with white dragon eventually. But she definitely looks sus I'm wondering how she ends up joining the gang..

Be warned though, season 1 pretty good, season 2 the so called sequel is so bad. Completely new cast and starts of at a different point from s1, but still called a sequel.

Hahaha this feeling is so true. I said below in a comment, one episode days are killer, but the thrill and excitement of watching a new show live makes up for it. Getting at least an episode a day of a cdrama is already so blessed compared to like US or kdrama shows, but whenever there is a good show I can't help but get greedy.

It's a complaint and a thrill, the complaint is that it's one episode instead of a two episode day. Also if I wasn't excited for the show it wouldn't be painful. The fact that it's painful is because I'm excited for the show. If there was no excitement there would be no pain. The post was about the fact today and tomorrow there are only 1 episode instead of the usual 2, as I clearly said 'one' episode days are painful.

I think the emperor is suspicious, but I think he was involved in the massacre of haiya village instead of being yesha and maybe feels guilty. Just to me, if he wanted revenge for haiya village he would be able to kill the ministers etc way more easily, wouldn't need to become yesha. Plus, idk how someone from haiya would become the emperor. But I definitely think the emperor is deeply involved. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Because in the end the frustration does not outweigh the joy of watching something as it airs. No spoilers (which are really common on popular shows after it airs), being able to interact with other real time watchers in comments like MDL, share opinions, share theories etc. And sometimes on a really hyped up show like this, you just can't wait till it finishes, its too tempting too watch it instead of waiting. The fun of watching tv shows as it airs is the anticipation of what comes next, while painful, it's also exciting. But thats just my opinion you might have a different one. While one episode days are painful, the anticipation of what comes next is exciting, and thats what tv shows are all about in my opinion. But we can always agree to disagree.

I bet like, all the characters think he wants to arrest ML and like hate him, I bet when they reunite he's gonna be like crying and hugging him instead 😂

Some people here saying ML and FL have no chemistry, and thats fine, everyone has their own opinions and chemistry is subjective, but today's ep 10, I think their chemistry was really good. FL's little jealousy about ML and Huo daughter was pretty cute. I think they do have chemistry and it will only continue to build now they have trust again. Plus, I think the scenes of the working together also help build their chemistry in my opinion.

Have you seen the preview for tomorrow's episodes? Looks like you could get your wish. I'm hoping it's not a fake out and it happens.

I watched coroner's diary and they're not really similar despite being investigative and seeking to find the truth about their parents death. Coroner's diary was more fast paced in my opinion (covering cases in like 3-4 episodes), and had way more romance (at least so far might have more). Also a major difference everyone is pointing out is the FL, completely different between the 2. Not saying one is better than the other though, they are just two different types of characters. They do share some similar elements though, CD had like 7 cases, from the trailer it seems this show will have a few different cases all tied together. Also similar they are both investigating one big mystery related to their parent's death. So there are similarities, but the vibe of both are different (hard to explain) and the FL is especially different. I really enjoyed CD though and so far enjoying this.

Zhao Liying is a great actress, but she plays mature, older characters now, as she should, she plays them so so well, but would not make sense for her to play a teenager/early twenties daughter character anymore.

Oh I like the little white dragon theory, would be smart if the poison was not really an accident, I could so see that happening, especially how he seems so innocent and nice but could all be an act. Not gonna lie I'm also a little sus of the leader of the elite constables, that guy in the red robe that is the boss of FL, he just seems weird to me, might be over thinking though. I definitely think there's a mole or spy among the good guys. I hope we find out more about Tong Shong, cause right now we really know nothing about him, like why he's loyal to ML.
