Yeh if you've seen today's episode remember how there was that imperial guard lieutenant that walked by before the hunt that Qin Xiang looked down upon and that helped Qin Shuang when she hurt her ankle. That guard was mean to marry Qin Xiang as he's from a good family with a lot of potential, but after she becomes a concubine, Qin Shuang marries him and they live happily. And yeh in the novel, Chi kills Cheng after Cheng betrays Chi and kills a lot of his soldiers. So in return Chi kills him as revenge. At least that's in the novel idk how much they will include. But Qin Xiang never heard of after that, she's a widow and who else knows what, she deserves it for sure 😂
