Hahaha ikr, the emperor just being so obvious at this point, he's not even trying to appear righteous or anything anymore. And it was a satisfying death for prince Cheng, he definitely deserved it.

Definitely, agree some people shouldn't procreate and that little boy you can tell he's gonna be a good emperor. After everything he's been through, still a good kid, and with a regent like ML and FL by his side, he'll grow up well.

Yeh it's confusing until like 37 they explain everything well. And no he didn't, sadistic prince just realized the emperor used him to kill CP and that he would die as well, but never knew he was a fake. And yeh CP poor kid, caught between his mother the empress who knew the emperor was a fake and was using him, and the emperor who was always gonna kill him eventually it seems.

What a series, a true dark horse cdrama. Out of nowhere, becoming my favorite cdrama of the year so far, slightly infront of Prisoner of beauty in my opinion. Anyone, a great cdrama with I reckon a damn near perfect main cp. Absolutely no cliches, as perfect as a CP you can get. Definitely gonna rewatch this drama soon to take it all in again. For now though, gonna check out Immortal Ascension, hope to see some of you there. For those that aren't into that type of cdrama, all good, I'm sure I'll see some of you soon in the comments of another cdrama. Anyway, what a thoroughly entertaining cdrama, truly made me become fans of both ARP and Landy Li.

Yeh ML does find out, you're really close, but sadist prince goes crazy king od after releasing the emperor betrayed him, so he spills all to ML before he dies. And yeh honestly all the bad guys die, even the empress and Noble consort. Only Li Muyun survives, literally the only bad guy that survived I think. And yeh CP led a sad life to be honest. Only Prince Sui and Yan Li, are the imposter emperor's real sons. Rest don't even realize unfortunately their fathers fake, before their deaths.

Little prince should spill the beans in episode 35 as well or 36, you're really close. And all is revealed in 37. As for Qin Xiang and the Feng lady that is sadist princes concubines, after his death, Feng lady kills Qin Xiang, then Feng lady is killed, as Prince Cheng's whole family is ordered to be killed for being a traitor. Happens really quickly.

Yeh agree, I think it's pretty well done overall. Not rushed, they took their time and it's all pretty logical.

Yeh it's a pity, but can't have everything, they still ended everyone's stories really well I reckon. Let me know what you think after you watch eps 35/36. The ML and FL also learn the full with in episode 37, its explained quite well to be honest.

Yeh honestly CP was forced into it by his mother the empress. One thing I'm a little disappointed is he never found out his father was an imposter, where as in the novel he did. A bit sad he died not knowing and not understanding why his mother wanted him to become the emperor. But yeh CP and prince Cheng downfall and death at the end of episode 35/start of 36 before the emperor.

He dies, he gets killed by Prince Cheng. The ML and emperor pretty much use that as an excuse to bring down prince Cheng before his death. Prince Cheng's downfall is so satisfying because he thought the emperor favored him and he was going to become CP by killing the former CP, only to realize the emperor used him and threw him away.

Episode 36 it happens and trust me, super satisfying

Honestly, all the deaths were pretty satisfying. Ngl I fast forwarded just to see Prince Cheng meet his end.

Both him and prince Cheng's death were very satisfying

Yeh 100% he also has the ML and Fl to guide him, pretty much surrounded by good people who will teach him well.

Yeh they never clarified it but he's the emperor or fake emperor's son with Consort Jin. But since they can't or at least don't announce to the world the emperor was fake, their only choice is to appoint prince Sui who is technically the next in line as all other princes are dead. So in the end I guess the fake emperor got what he wanted sort of, his blood will be on the throne.

They don't revel the emperor is fake to the public or other minters etc, it's kept a secret except for a few like ML, FL, Yan Li, Yue Ning and empress dowager. All the other princes are dead, so technically he's next in line. They use an edict by the now dead fake emperor appointing little prince as future emperor.

I believe besides Yan Li obviously, only Yan Sui, the youngest prince
