Just FYI for people asking why transmigration/reborn cdramas are banned. This was like 10+ years ago, but transmigration/rebirth dramas were banned because of two smash hits in the early 2010's that involved rebirth, leading to a women apparently committing suicide in the hopes of being reborn in china, thus they banned it out of fear of people potentially committing suicide hoping to be reborn as shown/glorified in cdramas. As for time travel it was banned because the state governing body over radio, film and television in china stated it distorted/disrespected Chinese history, and historical figures, and warned against making such films. Thus, to not get on the bad side of the governing body, these cdramas were not made as much anymore. This is all based on what happened in the early 2010's, not sure if there have been any recent changes or anything, but these were the original reasons why.

Yeh same, I feel like its an unnecessary discord thats gonna lead to some kind of argument or big misunderstanding (technically they already have a misunderstanding about it anyway), but I just don't want t be too quick to judge so see what happens. I'm also a bit worried. But I still have faith, the previews look like the pace is really fast, which I like, no filler or anything.

Won't lie, I really like the visuals and choreography for the fight scenes. You can tell this will be an action packed drama. However, I am to sure how I feel about implementing a grudge between Xiao Jue and He Yan when she was a general (her driving late to help). Not gonna judge it too early though, want to see where it goes but hopefully doesn't lead to any major misunderstanding and is cleared up cleanly. Probs leads to something bigger, her later arrival when she was general. Also enjoying the little bits of humor they added

One episode in and I already hate He Ru Fei, I can't wait for him to get humbled and hopefully he meets the same end as in the novel

sounds good would be nice to watch something a bit more emotionally weighted and always looking for a good modern drama, I’ll check it out once either this or IA ends

Not gonna lie, this might just be me being twisted, but I really want them to include a proper scene of He Ru Wei getting ordered to be executed by the emperor and I remember he was meant to be decapitated and cut apart or something like that, can't remember exactly. Hope we get to see him fully realize he's painfully screwed.

For novel readers, I read the novel ages back so I can't remember all the details really, how long was it till Xiao Hue found out He Yan was a woman in disguise in the liangzhou guard? Or like what chapter was it? Can't really remember the beginning of the story that well. I'm like rush reading the novel again to remember some things last few days getting ready 😂

Really, I didn't know he said anything on Weibo but glad to hear that. I would think ML knows how to pick a good script, all his recent dramas have been pretty decently to high rated, so I trust that there's a lot more to come.

Thats true, I feel like so far the plot has been pretty decent but the most obviously silly/lazy writing is the poisoning by mistake, there must be a deeper twist or cure, there's no way ML dies due to a poison given by mistake to FL by white dragon, would be such a silly death.
