No problem worth noting in the final ep he and his father argue about who gets the surgery first, it was arranged for his father but his father wanted him to do it. Eventually they convince his father to do it and it's successful. But yeh overall besides being mentioned and being a tool to bring the ML and FL closer, it doesn't really affect him that much.

Never fully resolved, right at the very end he says he's getting surgery. Besides that it pretty much doesn't affect him that much. Gets a little worse, his vision becomes blurry every now and then but the FL says she will support him through everything and doesn't really affect his career or relationship that much tbh.

No break up in undercover high. When love gives you tangerines, brief breakup for the parents/main characters of the first half but resolved very quickly and they get back together and stay together. Breakup for the daughter who finds someone new.

Start off as enemies, then to mentor/student, then friends and they get together around ep 13 to 14 and stay together till the end, with the guy saying he will propose after surgery and her saying both will be successful right at the very end.

Yeh I agree specially since Hua zi is so use to dealing with problems on her own and trying not to be a burden to anyone and acting strong. Definitely not right but fits with her character and does feel real.

Yeh I agree definitely feels like she doesn't seek treatment immediately for angst and maybe cause they need to draw it out for a few episodes you know. But hopefully she gets back into character and seeks treatment soon.

This weekend break is gonna be killer, wanna see these last 10 eps so bad.

Yeh definitely agree with that. I understand her thinking in that she's just so use to dealing with everything on her own and not looking weak she just doesn't to seek treatment and seem weak and be a burden. But definitely agree I have the same issue. With only 10 eps remaining and if she is to get treatment and get better (hopefully) then I think it will be soon. Hopefully it doesn't last too long her not getting treatment.

I definitely get what you mean, but I also think she just needs time. After such life changing news I think it would be unrealistic for her to immediately act strong or like she's not afraid and willing to fight. I think after everything she's been through in Beijing, this is like the last straw that really breaks her. I think it's realistic that she needs time to really process before she's back to her usual self. I think we'll see the old Huazi soon but I think it's realistic that she first needs time to process. Would be unrealistic if she's her usual self straight after the news. Even then we still see some of her usual character in that she's trying to act strong and act like everything ok to everyone else, and she's putting everyone including Wangle before herself and trying to manage everything herself. But definitely agree with you I hope this doesn't last too long.
