It becomes increasingly obvious in ep 12 and 13, that the relationship is completely transactional for ML. Anytime FL does anything good or helps him in anyway he rewards her with gifts. While she is looking for love and a family, so she rejects these things, as she believes family is meant to help each other without the promise of anything in return. However, he forces those things on her, showing his transactional mentality and belief she's only after his money.
Only after divorce will he realize how wrong he was. When he sees her breaking her back live streaming and doing hard work, with no complaints, and eventually, hopefully, thriving without him, he will realize she never needed him. She was with him because she wants to be, not because she needed to be. Divorce is definitely needed. Currently, while they are both lying, her motives are pure, and his aren't.

Thats a crazy story, you have to feel for people like that. Even what we see in the drama happening to FL during childhood, we know it happens in real like Las, very unfortunate.
As for the sister in the drama, I think she grows on you. A lot of people found her annoying at the beginning, but wait till ep 9 onwards, a lot of people changed their minds on her slowly. They grow close again later. We see in flashbacks the older sister taking care of FL when they were young, always loving and caring for her. Even now, they grow closer and the older sister gives good advice and tells FL she will protect and support her no matter what. So I think drama wise, give the older sister some time, in ep 9 onwards, you'll see she's quite caring towards FL. But I do agree, I wish she would front her parents on their treatment of FL.

I agree, they show they care for her, wasn't just a job, maybe they felt sorry for her, knowing for someone to hire fake parents when her real ones are alive, her actual parents much be really bad. So they cared.

In ep 9 we see the sister consulted a lawyer for FL, and gave her an actually good advice, also talked about how she would protect and support her no matter what. I think its the parents fault, not her sisters. Her sister has shown she always loved and cared for her.
