It did fail like you said because of day time, however I think he still knew deep down, but when the test failed he wanted her to not be a demon, so he accepted the results without looking into it more. His feelings for her made him want to believe she was human, even though deep down he probably knew she wasn't. So after the failed test he pretended everything was all right and ignored his gut feeling. But then when she showed up at ruyi pavilion at the end of ep 28, along with the people from changxi palace, he knew she was a demon. Thats just how I see it.

I agree with most of what you said, however I do think his lack of action can be connected also to the fact he just found out that the murderer of his father was inside FL, the demonic infant core. Maybe that stunned him, thats how I see it. But I agree, he should have been more decisive and not let it go on that long. At times he seems to think so quick, and others times too slow. Hopefully, now we see a change, I think it will focus on him becoming more accepting of demons now he really knows the truth about FL. They seem to be back together in ep 33, even though I think she has amnesia, and by together I don't mean romantically, but at least they're working together and look friendly/holding hands, not sure if romantic or just him taking care of her due to amnesia.

100%, they both kept secrets and both lacked communication. I mean ML's senior brother almost killed FL, and vice versa FL's trusted friend WZS is just a evil jerk 😂

Same as you, I normally hate amnesia trope, but it seems she trusts him, he's taking care of her like you said, so I don't mind it if its not like she's suspicious of him and being manipulated by WZS. Since they're together, I'm ok with it, and hopefully doesn't last too long

And? I don't see the issue with what I said, was not hate or an insult, all I said was I know some people want to take a break, which is true, no need to defend the drama so much, don't need to read into every comment and think its hate. Also I would say way more than thousands of watchers like you said, millions or tens of millions of watchers more like it.

Hahah I dunno why anyone would badmouth them, honestly I understand both their decision, only WZS annoys me. Ep 30 and 31 will be super angsty though for our couple. Maybe 32 as well, but the preview for 33 shows them holding hands and she refers to him as husband and they're being cute together, so I think they have made up by then but there's a spoiler she may have amnesia, tbh she did act a bit different in the 33 preview, but as long as they're together and being all cute I don't mind amnesia haha
ep 28 and 29, nothing really painful or annoying, the find out about each others identities and short fight between them, but more information overlord then painful angst for now. WZS does have two scenes where he's super annoying getting in between FL and ML as usual, but not too bad overall. Hopefully you find some time in between your busy schedule!

What do you mean did I take a poll? For what? Many people have said in the comments they want to take a break before the angst, literally just check the comments. Again thats not a dig at the show, don't need to take everything personally, I totally understand if people want to take a break till express episodes are out so they can binge past the angst. I don't know why you feel thats offensive or a dig at the show.

Yeah exactly, thats why I enjoyed ep 29, told us a lot and mostly WZS wasn't as annoying, except the end.

I must say, there's a lot of complaints regarding 2ml and 100% valid they are, I hate him as well. But I think ep 29 arguably the best episode of the series so far for me. Next to ep 23, why? Because the main story progressed a lot. In both episodes we found out important information, and the main plot was progressed a lot in both, with a focus on the main villian/story rather than side stories. I like when the drama does this, I think it's when it shines most. And the twist in ep 29, won't spoil it, but genuinely nothing has surprised me in this show plot wise (not in a bad way, but there have been no plot specific twist that I found surprising or did not see coming), but the one in ep 29 was genuinely surprising to me. Again thats no hate, I was surprised at the cinematography and level of Cgi and other aspects (in a good way), but when I say nothing surprised me about this show, I specifically refer to the plot. Angst coming in ep 30 and 31 and maybe 32, so I know some people want to take a break till express episodes, totally valid, but I would encourage everyone to watch ep 29 before that. This is all just my opinion though, drama's are subjective so I'm sure many view differently.

Yeh I've noticed, I watched a few dramas earlier this year/last year with not many obsessed 2ml's but they're making a return now, super annoying.

Oh yeh I watched reborn, nice story telling but definitely a heavy watch. Got it so similar vibe. Didn't watch Such a good love, I like both actors in it but heard bad things so I held off, plus wasn't feeling a SE at the time.
