So that fake daughter was actually the one that saw and liked ML and asked him out, but ML thought it was FL as FL is Nie Chenguangs actual daughter. So it's a massive misunderstanding that gets cleared later. So actually its a massive misunderstanding and really not her fault at all.

He starts falling for her before he finds out, but then finds out later and thats what makes him like confess and makes him certain. But he's already forgiven her and fallen or her before he finds out.

Will take bit of time for ML and FL to get together, first ML will confess, she will reject saying she hasn't completely moved on yet, he will understand and wait, then. little after FL will confess and ask ML to date once she is sure of her feelings for him.

Yeh in web novel its really not a romance, and she barely appears throughout unfortunately. Yeh the season 2 arc she doesn't appear at all until he returns. Thanks for the article!

No, no need to worry about her she barley made an appearance in the novel, of course they might change this for the drama to make it more intense or whatever but I hope not, she wasn't a problem in the novel, of course besides being the cause of the misunderstanding.

But yeh after the crash FL suffered injuries to his hand so he could no longer perform surgery.

No problem, yeh definitely validates some of your observations. Hopefully the leads romance lives up to everyone's expectations and the script writers previous works. Maybe yeh, maybe they just understand it better haha

I read a post a couple weeks ago, apparently the drama underwent heavy editing because of some poor director decision, with editing and reshoots needed to make the story more coherent and make the atmosphere better. I can't find the post but apparently there were many improvements made that helped the atmosphere and relationship between ML and FL be sweeter, but the relationship between the FL and 2ML was lacking is what they said. Apparently, the director didn't do a great job shooting the FL and 2ML and creating the atmosphere needed to sell their missed romance story. So the highlight should be when the ML and FL romance begins, with their romance being quite sweet and well done after the edits apparently, with the story and atmosphere between the FL and 2ML being quite lacking even after edits is what the person said.
