Honestly not much airing right now, besides this and road to success, I'm also watching eternal fragrance, which is pretty angsty romance as well. Also a coupe kdramas, mr kim reactivated is a heavy action kdrama currently airing, as well as see you at work tomorrow, a sweet romance type. Otherwise, also on the 9th blossoms of power releases so will give that a go.

Also alchemy of souls, hospital playlist, weak hero, tale of the nine tailed, sweet home, d.p. many kdramas with great sequels. Honestly, in my opinion most kdramas that get a sequel are pretty good.

Yeh he's more of a playboy and like quite rude and cold to fl, some say he was borderline abusive to her at times in the book, I'm the same I prefer the drama for sure, I prefer they aren't dating others and I like how ml acts way more in the drama personally.

Just so you know the book is really different in how ml acts, in the book he's a major red flag ml, I prefer him in the drama to be honest. In the novel he is super cold and rude and pretty mean to fl.

Yeh in the book they dated, I think I was the one that mentioned that to you above hahahaha we have messaged quite a lot not his thread haha I believe they changed that in the drama, but in the book both ml and fl dated during their time apart but never really could get over each other.

Hahahah yeh I think in the drama he doesn't like her, he just uses her to stop other girls from chasing him, but doesn't actually like her. Probably doesn't even care fl dumped her thinks haha In the trailer theres a scene where he warns her not to mess with fl, so pretty clear he doesn't like, I think ml and fl are like deeply committed to each other, even though they'll be angst with ml pushing her away cause he thinks he's protecting her, but like end of the day there's no one else that can come in-between them I think.

Thats a good comparison I feel, hope it's that way for sure. I feel like this drama leans more into the angsty between ml and fl, and then also gangster boss story, I don't think they'll make the 2ml or 2fl that annoying.

Yeh he's in trailers and in the novel. It's the cen ye guy thats listed, they work together, in the novel he dated fl briefly but she was always hung up on ml, so it ended nicely between them. In the trailer I saw him say to ml, you better treat fl well or like stop treating her badly something like that, so I think for the drama they'll change it so he just has a crush on fl but they didn't date like the change they made for ml and 2fl, but thats just a guess. I just hope he's not too annoying thats all.

In the novel, what ends up happening is ml becomes an informant/undercover working with the cop guy to take down gangster boss, so ml does have good influence from the cop luckily.

The girl her name is tu li, she's the 2fl, in the novel she dates ml for a bit during the time after ml pushes fl to leave, but ml never really liked her. In the drama I believe they changed this so ml uses her as a fake girlfriend so other women don't bother him, so they don't actually date in the drama but she likes ml but ml doesn't like her back, so yeh she's the 2fl. Its also in ep 1 when fl returns and she clears out the clothes and perfume and stuff in her old room, I believe thats tu li's stuff she clears out, its not made clear but I don't see fl as the type of girl to have all that perfume and clothes since they would have been living frugally before the time skip, don't think she would own all that stuff in the past. Anyway we'll find out for sure after the time skip.

I'm not sure, I feel like it will completely time skip but we still might get occasional flashbacks on how ml and fl lived during their time apart, but will mostly be in the present now, but just a guess really.

Yeh I can spoil a bit from the novel if you want of how it progresses roughly but you might not want spoilers, yeh I think in this stage fl is more like unsure of her feelings, same with ml, not sure if its like romance of family, but it becomes more clear when they get older. And yeh that guy is bad news for sure. It's like on one side is the cop that is trying to help ml, then the other side is the gangster boss trying to corrupt him.

100 percent so emotional to watch, great acting, seeing fl's genuine heart break but its just too much to watch multiple times for me hahaha

Oh yeh he's so committed when lets me honest he honest owe her anything, and she doesn't owe him anything, yet they are so committed to each other already.

Yeh to be honest I do the same as you, whenever I rewatch lighter and princess I completely skip the break up, like fl's meltdown infront of her parents after ml was in jail is brutal as well.

Yeh unfortunately ep 11 is the first day of one ep days. Gonna be tough one ep days with all that angst.

I think likely we will get that scene of ml telling fl to leave and never come back and her leaving on the bus, then maybe like a quick time skip with highlights of her attending uni/getting a job and stuff like that, before we come back to the present quickly.

Hahaha I get you the break up in this, or even not break up but just ml rejecting fl and pushing her away is gonna be brutal for sure.
