100% agree, the ski arc really showed FL's emotions changing in so many different scenes, we really got to see her falling for ML, so when she asks him to date later makes it flow better

From memory there was no ski arc in the novel but I really loved the inclusion. Thats what's great when the screen writer and the novelist are the same person and they're good at both and they know what they're doing. We've had more scenes with FL's mother, ML's mother and step father and FL's cousin, uncle and aunties and all of it has been great. Overall a really great arc that was added to the drama that I really enjoy.

In the novel from what I remember, FL never met ML's mother (it was planned at the end), and the two mothers never met. So really glad they added this, great improvement from the novel I think. I love how they have mostly followed the novel pretty closely especially with the major story points, but have made a few improvements here and there.

A little callback too ep 20 real quick, I love how when FL rushed to the hospital to see ML, she didn't even notice 2ML for the longest time, really shows how she has completely moved on. Before just 2ML's presence there would effect her either making her focus on him or try not to focus on him, but now she didn't even realize he was there for a while, love the change.

Also we see recently how FL has slowly become more in-tuned with ML's feelings, realizing when he's done about stuff like not being a surgeon anymore. Before it was always ML making FL feel better, but now in this ski trip we see how FL has been the one also making ML feel better when. Love the equal, balanced relationship they have a true relationship even if they're not official yet.

Love the eps, love the slow burn romance, something about Gu Man's romances just hit different, no matter what nonsense is around with a trashy father or 2ML, the central romance always makes you feel warm and cute, a little happy space for us all. Plus ML and FL play their roles perfectly.

As for trashy father, fake daughter and all that we see in 22 and more in 23, hate them all but I couldn't care less, we're all here for ML and FL anyway, hope karma gets them all of them but whatever, we know our ML and FL get their happy ending and thats what matters.

Hahaha honestly I agree, they've gone on like a 100 non-date dates already, just haven't made it official, but they've been pretty much dating, been so cute, maybe thats why previews don't seem different because they're just doing the same thing except they're official haha

They become official in ep 24, you can see in preview she says I will always be with you from now and theres spoiler clips showing more of this convo and she asks him to date properly and he agrees and they hug and in 25 they're very cute in the preview, especially in the car scene. Also remember they both haven't ever dated before so its all new to them.

Yeh thats fair enough sometimes I'm the same want to watch a particular actor or actress but their other cdramas just aren't my cup of tea which is ok.

Btw though in case you didn't know, he's got two currently airing dramas, unclouded soul and glory. I haven't started them yet but plan to watch both once more eps are out, especially glory seems like it could be pretty good.

Yeh ikr he's so forward but does it in such a nice way. Like it was ML who was worried about the gossip at work but FL told him not to. Hahah that was so funny, so obvious Chen spent like one day with them and figured it out.

Honestly love how ML and FL addressed the whole gossip thing before it even became an issue, love how they both agreed for ML to pursue her openly and not care about the gossip. So many times in modern romance cdramas with a business setting once the gossip starts there will be the inevitable noble idiocy break up from one side to avoid the gossip. I love how this drama just skipped over that part, who cares about the gossip.

Also so nice of the older female work colleague to give FL some sincere advice. Everyone at her work just overall a better friend than her college friends when they barely even know each other.

Hahaha same smiling so much, Ml is completely opposite of 2ML and you can tell FL is slowly returning to her old self or like her more cheerful self because of him.

Love the symbolism of the new phone. FL to deciding to leave everything behind on the old phone and only carry the contacts over, leaving behind the messages and photos of her past and obviously 2ML. Love it, moving on is never easy, but it starts with one step at a time. Nice to see FL making a conscious decision to take those steps.

FL telling ML to keep at it then saying she wants to see what he's capable of in regard to him pursuing her, is both hilariously cute and a badass move. Nice to see her confidence and courage coming back after what her jealous college friends put her through.

Also shoutout to her work friend who hasn't even known her that long but is like the best friend he's had, just supportive and happy for her.
