Was rewatching RealHia scenes from the start (cause why not), and wanted to take a moment to appreciate Save's…
Thank you so much for pointing this out, because I agree. Save deserves more credit for his portrayal of Hia, because Hia is not an easy character to play IMO. He's rather contradictory: it seems that he was the one flirting with his best friend first without thinking much of it, causing Real to fall for him hard as a result and then getting all freaked out about it when Real couldn't take it anymore. I would've loved more screen time for them also to be able to figure out what Hia has been thinking all this time before Real confessed.
This show has confusing review comments. Some crying because its soo good. Others telling its soo overrated and…
Yup, the horrible reviews don't match the rating at all.
It's up to you to decide. If you decide to watch it, I'd advise you not to stop after episode 1 if you don't like it (and I personally was not impressed with it), because the series gets better as it progresses IMO. I was involved and totally into it about episodes 5 - 6.
I loved this series. I initially began watching the series due to the hype over the pairing of RealHia, but to…
I absolutely agree! Real/Hia are my favourites, mainly because of their chemistry, which IMO is to die for, but I loved the main couple and their dynamics. The relationship developed naturally, there were no big misunderstandings and dramas between them, they were always honest and open with each other, and I found Teerak, although on the surface many people might find his nature childlike and too naive at times, actually to be very mature and sensible despite that.
To sum it up: I loved the series and it's definitely one of my favourite Domundi series ever.
Still my favourite gmmtv series since Cherry Magic. The romance between Thame and Po is so wholesome, there's no other word for it. I have butterflies in my stomach whenever they are together and can't wait for the kiss next episode, it's about time they make it official. I hope we'll get at least one episode of dating before the inevitable drama when everybody finds out.
Jun obviously lied and stepped down voluntarily because he knew he had no chance. Thame should be blind not to notice.
I didn't know what to expect when I started watching this, but both side couples are sizzling. Amazing chemistry! The Real/Hia making up scene and the small Lee/Ghlai moments were the highlights in today's episode for me.
How amazing it is that they know how they feel without confessions (not that I would mind one), any doubts or confusion? They are in love and they know it and want to be with each other. Such a refreshing and wholesome relationship!
I think this has to be my favourite gmmtv BL ever, and it's not even finished. I never thought I would say that only a year after Cherry Magic, but here we are. It was worth it to wait years for the right cast to make the series.
How much do I love that Po is NOT oblivious to the signs Thame is giving and interprets them correctly (even though Thame didn't get it himself without a little help from his friend)?
I strongly suspect that after Cherry Magic, this will be the second absolutely perfect GMMTV series to me. Coincidentally, they are airing at the same time, a year apart.
Every single interaction Thame and Po have had until now has been romanctic and felt very personal and deep, even the very first time they met. Watching them, I feel like I'm invading their privacy, they have such a strong reaction to each other and a chemistry to die for. Both William and Est are killing it with the stares and the caring for each other. Seriously, why would Jun say something like that to Po, is he deliberately turning a blind eye or does he have a thing for Thame himself? He seems very perceptive and clever to me and I don't think he himself believed what he told Po. There must be something behind it.
I'm also happy with the general plot, it's different and I personally am glad that the series, despite being about an idol music group, is not overflowing with too much music.
The episodes are very short and this is my only complaint. They could've done a couple of minutes more per episode and made the series 12 episodes with 45 - 50 min. length, instead of 13 episodes with 40 minutes length. That being said, there are not many series that I wish were released before I started watching so I would binge them, but this is one of them.
But why did Bison tell Fadel that they are both snitches? He has no evidence Style is involved and let's not forget that Bison himself was the one who gave Kant the idea to distract Fadel by finding him a boyfriend and helped Style by getting information about Fadel's habits.
Of course, Style is not innocent, because he knows what is going on and helped Kant, but calling him a snitch is too much. He started as completely innocent and is the only one from the group who hasn't done anything illegal.
Almost all BLs airing right now are serving and I couldn't be happier, but I still wanted to say how impressed I am with this one. It's even better when you rewatch it, because the episodes are so short, but after rewatching the first 7 episodes yesterday, I realised how well the mains' relationship was developed and went from them not knowing what to think of each other to being completely crazy about each other.
I'm a little worried there are only 2 episodes left to give a satisfactory ending for all complicated relationships going on - Zi Xiang and the cousin he loves but who has been trying to kill him the entire time, the side couple, the two meddling women who really should mind their own business btw, Zi Xiang and his father who we saw for about a second but who still dictates his life - but they've done well so far, so I have faith.
Shao Peng and his parents are so awesome, though. No wonder he turned out like that, these have to be the best parents you can ever wish for.
It would be worth it to check the IQIYI link again. Until yesterday, it said that it was not available in my country, but now it seems that it is after all. I'm excited about this, I liked the pilot trailer.
Please no "noble" break-up for them, I wouldn't be able to bear it.

I'm sorry, this got to be the cutest thing I've heard in a long time.
