5 episodes in and I feel just not smart enough to understand this show. Maybe it's a translation problem, or the way it's been told, but there are two very important things I don't understand:
1. Why does it seem to me that Dohoe keeps blaming Juyeong for what went wrong between them and not his horrible father? While I will never understand Juyeong keeping in touch with such a despicable person, especially after seeing how Dohoe was abused and getting quite a bit of abuse himself, Dohoe's treatment of him is abhorrent. From what I got from episode 5, he gave an explanation about why he's so mad, but I didn't get it, I'm just more confused than before. 2. Can they finally give a clear picture about what's going on between Dohoe and his ex-bully and now drinking buddy? Are they friends-with-benefits now and why does it seem so hard for Dohoe to dump him?
P.S. Never mind, at least question #1 has been cleared up after episode 6. Finally Dohoe expressed it they way he should have the day he left 12 years ago. Maybe if he had that mess wouldn't have happened.
It's my very shallow side showing itself, but honestly, if Run and Kim come together, they would be the best-looking couple in the BL universe. Seriously, both are so stunning.
Run has to be my favourite character in this series, because he actually has a somehow valid reason to behave the way he does. The rest of them, not so much, although I admit that Elyes and Pat are better now than they were at the beginning.
Mick and Top did amazing in the last two episodes, outstanding performance! They were by far my favourite couple in My Universe and I hope they and this series will continue to deliver.
For Germany it's streaming on Gaga, unless you want to wait until they unlock all videos on YouTube.
Yeah, I was surprised, too, it's the first time a gmmtv show has appeared on Gaga for me and so far it's the only one. Maybe others will follow, no idea. It's currently successful on Gaga, it's the Nr. 2 most watched Gay/BL show for Germany. The show is on Gaga for everyone living in the UK, USA, Germany and Australia and this is why it's locked on YouTube for us.
A couple of weeks ago nothing was visible on YouTube, but they've started slowly unlocking the episodes, it's just that they are way behind, because of course they are hoping we'd watch it on Gaga. But if you're willing to wait, they will unlock the rest on YouTube at some time.
Edit: Or you can just use VPN and pick any country in Europe but Germany and UK and all videos will appear. I tried it, it works like a charm.
I really like it too. it's fluffy and yes it's cringing but I like cringe and fluffy, especially after watching…
I've still to watch the new episodes of Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo and the spoilers are promising pain... Exactly, sometimes you just need a little fluff and lightness in midst of the darker and more realistic BLs.
The last episode was less cringe, or maybe I'm just imagining it?
Unpopular opinion - I like it a lot, and watched the last 10 minutes of today's episode twice. Hill's friends are so funny and the confession scene was awkward, but somehow endearing. When Hill said that it's obvious who he has liked all the time, I was all "Duh, seriously." No idea why Ter didn't see what was right in front of him the entire time.
The second couple will finally meet next week, I'm excited about them too!
I've learned to ignore MDL rating, but I still have to say that this rating is a joke and it doesn't reflect even…
Exactly. Maybe the show is not for you for whatever reason (although, for the life of me, I will never understand why anyone would not like the mains, both of them, their relationship and the actors who play them), but it should be possible to give credit when it's deserved, and it is, because this is a good quality show and at least this should be recognised by anyone trying to be objective.
I can't take 1 or 2 or even 5 stars ratings here seriously.

Wang and Tian bumping into each other in episode 3 and them staring at each other in episode 10 had more chemistry than many lifeless, awkward NC scenes I've seen. To sum it up - yes, characters can have a strong romantic and even sexual chemistry without being involved.

I've seen different justifications - it's not a BL (no comment needed, it obviously is, even though the mains didn't end up together), no happy ending (which I get, but it doesn't change the fact that the series was well-produced, well-directed, well-written, well-developed, had compelling characters, a great relationship and chemistry between the mains and let's not forget, the acting was impecable), too slow (because two teenagers with different personalities and several issues who are pushed to treat each other like brothers and visit a conservative school in 2012 would never take their time to get friendly first and realise and accept their own feelings), etc. I get people have their own taste, don't get me wrong, but personal taste aside and objectively seen, the series is very, very good and it's obvious how much love and effort everybody involved has put into it.
The rating is not bad, I've seen worse, but in this case, it should be higher.

Psych Hunter is an ok drama. I'm watching it right now, and at this moment I'd rank it 7/10 (probably 8/10 if…
Thank you! I'll give Psych-Hunter a try and see if LDQ alone will make me keep watching until the end, 36 episodes later. The plot also seems like something I would like.

It's a very unique series and cannot be compared to any popular BL series released this year.

I don't watch much heterosexual romance these days, but when I choose to do so, Chinese romance would be about last on my list. ;)
