i honestly f-ing hate shows that start with rape. they brush it off and the ml doesn't even think sleeping with…
And he gets blamed for not wanting to talk to King about it and took the blame for what happened voluntarily. It broke my heart when he said to King it was his fault the ONS happened, because he was too reckless. Yes, he was reckless, because he should've known better than drink that much, but he was not to blame for the ONS. King didn't put up much of a fight. I get it, he obviously has liked Uea for a long time, but the ONS is on him, not Uea, and would've liked to hear him say it.

There's a sentence cut from their first encounter in the bar. In the YouTube version, King sees Uea, goes to him and asks him: "Are you here alone? Can I...?" At that moment, his date arrives and takes him away. He never finishes his question.
In the uncut version, King is given the possibility to end his question: "Are you here alone? Can I have your number?" before his date comes to drag him away from Uea. I watched the YouTube version first and was really confused about what King did exactly to annoy Uea that much. It wasn't before I watched the uncut version until I got it. I think it's a very unfortunate cut that would leave many people confused and some of them would judge Uea, unfairly, because he did have a good reason to be pissed off about a guy who was there with a date and hit on him at the same time.
Is there any difference on iqiyi version and youtube version?? Because I'm planning on spending some cash on iqiyi…
The cuts on YouTube are minimal. There is, however, one cut sentence in a scene that is kinda important to understand why Uea dislikes King so much. No idea why they decided to cut that, it doesn't make sense. The rest is irrelevant for the plot.
Did you miss out on Candy Color Paradox, The New Employee, Old Fashion Cupcake, Roommates of Poongduck and Senpai…
Thank you for the recs! From these shows, I've started only Candy Color Paradox, but it didn't hold my interest and I didn't finish it. I'll check the rest of them out.
I like the main leads and their chemistry, but even if I didn't, I'd watch this for one thing I'm missing in BL - the office romance! There's not enough of it IMO. I rewatched Cherry Magic recently and realised how much I'm craving an office romance, no matter a nice sweet one or a messy one like in this case.
The editing is off, but I love the characters, especially Uea, and rewatched it already, so I'm good. I already know I'll like this way more than Cutie Pie.
Edit: the sex scenes felt disjointed because we're in Uea's POV and he was drunk, so he remembered only fragments. It felt very reaslsitic to me that he won't delve into what happened too much, especially when it's clear he wouldn't have done it if he'd been sober.
I'm really sad this isn't released internationally, at least yet (I hope it will be eventually because they put subtitles to the trailer), because it has everything in a BL I enjoy - an one-sided crush, university setting, humour and lovely mains. I enjoyed the first episdode - the auto-generated subs are not ideal, but they helped. Sadly, no subs, even bad ones, for episode 2.
Please don’t eat me, but is the show actually good from an objective point of view? So far only fans of the…
I'm not a fan of EarthMix and I like it. It's a mature, slower paced and serious show, though, so if you prefer light-hearted shows or such with a lot of action, it might not be for you. I'd recommend to try it.
I need someone to genuinely tell me why people dont like this show.
The show is doing quite well actually, so there are quite a few people who like it. I would say it's doing as well as The Eclipse (at least on YouTube so far) and better than Vice Versa, considering there's little promotion and gmmtv is doing nothing but shoving MSP in our faces. I'm watching that one, too, btw, and if everyone needs to complain about bad plots, I wonder if they are complaining about MSP having basically none. There were whole episodes (episode 8 comes to mind) in which basically nothing happened.
I can only speak for myself, but I stopped posting or reading the comments here because I simply want to enjoy the show and Palm and Nueng's amazing chemisty. I think that many people who love the show are doing the same and just avoiding this comment section. The reactions especially to episode 9 on twitter and tumblr were overwhelmingly positive and here suddenly you see again people complaining about this and that... it's discouraging to anyone who likes the show and just wants to continue loving it without having to deal with the negativity. To sum it up, there are many who like the show, it's just that the haters have taken over here.
Rewatching this again while waiting for the new episode of NLMG.
One thing I realised: Pond's characters is in love with a fish upon the sky here and in NLMG, although for different reasons. Here Mork's fish upon the sky is scared to love him, while in NLMG it's society's rules and family's expectations that keep them apart.
hundred percent! especially the "equal footing, without one being dominant over the other like in many other BL…
Thank you! I like very much that Nuengdiao, despite lacking some social skills, is not portrayed as incapable of thinking for himself. Im sure he'll be taking care of himself just fine once he takes over and everybody around him (Palm including) stops thinking he needs to be protected all the time.
The only non university school GMMTV BL show that has succeeded is Not Me, I don’t know but they seem unable…
I dropped Not Me after 12 episodes. *ducks flying tomatoes* The only thing that kept me watching that far were the mains, but even they couldn't make me watch the last two episodes.
The best thing about this series for me is the love story between Palm and Nueng (I think they've developed it pretty well considering it started as love at first sight, at least for Palm), their natural chemistry and the beautiful cinematography. So many stunning pictures. PalmNueng are so, so, so in love. Honestly, I would watch even if they were the only characters. It was good to hear about Tanya being alive and it was nice to see Ben in this episode, because I continue to love him best after Nueng, Palm and Tanya and I really want to see what will happen with him, but other than that, I didn't miss anyone else and could've happily watched another episode like episode 6, which was basically Palm and Nueng bonding and being cute and in love. Also, it's nice to see them as characters (I'm leaving their social status out) at an equal footing, without one being dominant over the other like in many other BL series.
I think pretty much everyone is underrestimating Nuengdiao and he is going turn out more capable to deal with his uncle and Phum and the rest than expected.
PondPhuwin are for me the best "couple" with natural chemistry gmmtv has to offer and I would watch anything they do together. *nods*
I think actually there is no condition no reason when we fall for someone...sometimes it happens without our knowing…
The statement that Nueng always treats Palm bad is not true. Just for the record. Nueng has his good qualities and Palm, who's done nothing but watch him from the moment he met him, can see them. Generally, when you're in love, you tend to overlook some bad qualities your crush has and see more the good ones. And Nueng does have them, despite what some people here would claim. Which doesn't make it less true that he's spoilt and bratty, but this is what having loving and at the same time absentee parents, wealth and being detached and isolated from other people and the real world does to you. For example, it was very telling that Nueng was spending his 18-th birthday with his parents only, not a friend or a person his age in sight. To add to that, he wasn't sure his father would come. He has huge trust issues. Nueng has a lot to learn yet, but it doesn't mean he's generally a bad person and doesn't deserve to be loved.
It was love from first sight for Palm, it was obvious to me at least, which made Palm more invested to do his "duty" than it would've been necessary. No matter what he says, you don't kiss anyone out of duty. :)

Gmmtv is releasing an office romance series after MSP, though. I hope it will be a good one.
