For those who speak Spanish, you can find episodes 1 to 8 here:https://doramasflix.in/doramas-online/destiny-seekerThe…
Thank you so much for the link! The English subs available for episodes 6 and 7 on WeTV are way worse than the Spanish subs that site provides. I'd advise anyone who speaks both languages to watch either only with Spanish subs or watch with the English subs provided by the fan subber until episode 5 and then continue with Spanish from episode 6 forwards.
It's also kinda funny how the Spanish and Portuguese speaking BL fans can organize themselves and provide good subs, but not the English speaking fans. The Spanish subs are available until episode 9, and the Portuguese even for episode 10. No English subs whatsoever, good or bad, are to be found for episodes 9 and 10 until now, and the subs for episode 8 are not very good.
It's already Sunday and still no subs for episodes 7 and 8 on WeTV. So frustrating, considering this is one of the better Thai BLs airing right now. They put subs to ep. 1 - 6, which means they probably will for the rest, too, but when? When the series is done airing?
The fan subs on YouTube help somehow, but not completely. I still don't get Pipe's issue with Meen. Did anyone understand why he was so rude to him? From my POV, Meen didn't do anything to deserve to be treated like that.
Some have complained that with VPN from Thailand it doesn't work to unlock the series. It didn't work for me either, but surprisingly, Spain did. For some reason, the series are geoblocked in all of Europe except Spain. :) So try Spain if Thailand doesn't work.
So the proper English subs have been stolen? Great, I should've known it was too good to be true. It's a pity this has happened, because this show is actually my favourite Thai BL that's airing right now. There are a lot of cliches, but it still feels fresh and entertaining and the episodes fly by, I'm not bored even for a second. I'll never understand why WeTV would release this only in Thailand with no subtitles, but at the same time release Love Syndrome, for which I couldn't even finish the first episode, internationally and with subs. No offence meant to anyone who likes LS, BTW.
Episodes 6 and 7 are on YouTube with subs that are not very good, but they still help a lot to understand what's going on. I personally saw a huge difference when I watched episode 7 without any subs and then with the subs on YouTube. They are not great, but still. It seems it's the best we'll be getting right now.
To be honest, I'm really annoyed at the producers, too. They continuously release the previews for the new episodes on YouTube with subs, some of the highlights have subs, and the reaction of the cast to episode 1 has subs, too. Why would they do that, if the show is not meant to be enjoyed by the international audience? It doesn't make any sense. Right now, I'm only hoping they'll do the same as with Two Moons 3 and release the show internationally and with subs after it ends.
You know, as someone who did not completely loved this series, I can really empathize with a lot of what you said.…
Thank you for the nice comment and I think you really said what went wrong here with that sentence: "A lot of the issues with this series has to do with how it treats its characters as plot devices to move the plot forward and neglects any character development." It was indeed a plot-driven series, which is not a bad thing, but at the end, the plot was not what most people who liked the series enjoyed about it. I'd go as far as to say that I loved it despite the plot. :)
Chimon is great and honestly, I loved Ben at the beginning of the series, he was my favourite besides Nueang and Palm and I'm very sad his character was abandoned and went nowhere.
I feel people are so quick to judge. People are complaining that a trauma victim isn't smiling enough? Uea has…
Seriously, when someone asks why a character is in love with another, I can't help but think that they've probably never fallen for anyone. It's not like "that person checks all the boxes, I can fall in love now". It's not rational. King has known Uea for a long time and has obviously found something he likes.
Why is it always palm nueng fans complianing about people liking chopper Ben . Why shouldn't they like them? even…
I disagree and I'm allowed to say it. For me, Ben and Chopper's "romance", if you can call it that, could have been completely absent, and I wouldn't miss it. I agree Chimon is a great actor, although I didn't like that smile in ep. 12, but that's all.
Of course you don't have to like Palm and Nueng if the series are about them, but it makes no sense to me to watch for 2 minutes Chopper/Ben with no development. To each their own, I guess.
OMG, how much more crap are they going to dump on Uea? A horrible abusive homophobic mother, a horrible abusive cheating ex-boyfriend who sexually assauted him at the end of the episode and they ended it like that, and a creepy pedophile uncle (his mother's boyfriend supposedly) who has probably sexually abused him as a kid on top of it all. No wonder he is the way he is and doesn't trust anyone. I hope they are done with doing horrible things to him, it's really hard to watch. The preview for the next episode was scary.
I stopped reading the comments and commenting here after episode 7, which remains my favourite together with episode 9, because the bashing got too much for me and I decided that it was about time to enjoy my favourite gmmtv couple without the hate. It was the best decision for me.
To get it over with: episode 11 and the first half of episode 12 were a trainwreck. I loved the series, but I can admit that. Until episode 10, I had no complains, and the reunion scene (episode 10, part 4) is actually the scene I've rewatched most in the entire series; I think I watched it every day for at least a week, it moved me so much. However, the writing for episodes 11 and 12 (with the exception of the ending) was atrocious, it felt rushed, like the screenwriters were just dying to get it over with, no matter how. There was that much the actors could do with that script. Pond and Phuwin are not to blame. I know I'm biased, because I love them, but I really think it was not their fault.
For me, the love story between Nueng and Palm and Nueng's character (and character development) were the best things about the series, together with the cinematography, and Pond and Phuwin's chemistry carried all of it. I can watch these two stare at each other for hours and not get tired of it. Please give me another series with them with a better writing, something romantic or a romantic comedy would be best.
I don't get the love for Ben and Chopper, they had no development and I see no chemistry. Ben started out as the more interesting character of the two, but at the end, Chopper ended up as the important character, so Ben could have been absent completely and it wouldn't have made any difference.
I admit the last two episodes were disappointing and objectively, Moonlight Chicken was a better series (actually, the best gmmtv BL from 2022), but I have no wish whatsoever to rewatch MC, but I've already started rewatching this. This is why both shows received the same rating from me.
The subs are the best I've found so far and are not auto-generated, but it ends there, the second half of episode 2 is not translated. Hopefully that nice person will continue, because I really like the series.
Ashesinthewind said below in the comments that the production will provide engsub later, so we can try again then!
It would be nice of them to annouce when, not only reply that they are working on it in a comment. If they say when they will release it with subs for once and all, then we'll know and wait without having to check again and again, it's annoying. I know there are many BLs to watch right now, but I really like this one and the one episode I got to watch with proper subs was promising.
Going against the flow here, but I love Uea and I understand him. He's a way more interesting character than King, who right now is underdeveloped, like many love interests in BLs.
Someone posted the first episode with Portuguese subs and they seem to be working better for me than the messy auto-generated English subs. Considering that I don't speak Portuguese, but only Spanish, it works well enough, to my surprise. The BL fandom in Brazil seems very dedicated.
Ai is like the cutest bean ever, I absolutely adore him, he's so charming. No wonder so many guys are after him.
Was that dormitory sorting inspired by Harry Potter?
And he gets blamed for not wanting to talk to King about it and took the blame for what happened voluntarily.…
I honestly hadn't considered it from this angle, so thank you! Maybe I was too hard on King. And I really do understand him to a certain point, because it's obvious he likes Uea and it's not just about sex for him.
And he gets blamed for not wanting to talk to King about it and took the blame for what happened voluntarily.…
The ONS would've never happened with Uea sober. It was established pretty well that Uea dislikes King and was trying everything to avoid any contact with him. Even if we argue that Uea is physically attracted to King and has always been despite disliking his personality, he still wouldn't have slept with him while sober. This is what it comes to.
King behaved like he did nothing wrong. I also didn't like how he locked the door of the printer room when he went to confront Uea. He can't know that Uea's mother used to lock him in the bathroom, of course, but still... not giving Uea the possibility to escape if he still doesn't feel like talking about it didn't bode well with me.

This almost never happens and I'm here for it.

They'll have to make the series available outside Thailand on WeTV, too, though. Right now I can't watch even without subs.
