I'm watching it and enjoying it a lot. I will become my best all-time drama if it continues to be this good till the end. No C-Drama watcher should miss this one!! But despite the wonderful scenery and exquisite design of the immortal worlds (it is really good, don't miss it! the static design is jaw dropping), places and terrains the CGI till puts me off. I know compared to the CDrama CGI's it is still very good. But still it feels like it is made for kids. That's why I say you should just put aside any expectations about CGI while watching CDramas. Because even the good ones are like this. The whole concept of colorful flows of air and imaginary swords just makes me turn of my brain. The dude transfers his 10000 years of cultivation just by pointing his finger at another person through some blue air.

There have been a lot of hints about the romance. 2. ML's character development and past history are big part of the story. The lives of people at hospice hospital is also a big part of the story.
How much the writers want to interleave the romance with the main parts of the story is not clear yet.
Oh, I just remembers that the drama is slowly adding ML's previous GF to the story. So I guess by comparing her to FL and some interactions between the three, they are going to spend a good time on romance.

How does the original story make sense, that you need explanations for the burnt body? It's all a fictional world that never existed and could exist. As the whole story is based on unreal and fictional material, the burnt body coming back to life can also be justified in a similar fashion.
The script for this drama is very good. Life of the people at a hospice hospital. The growth of a man who couldn't find happiness his whole life, but finds it in a place that is apparently one of the saddest places in the world: where people who know that they are soon to die, live. The irony, the incidents, and the relationships are just very emotional and overwhelming.

Aren't their attractions obvious? You only need to look at their faces and find why they are attractive. I admit it is still not a deep love or sth like that, but isn't Ji Chang Wook's face itself attractive? And I think you missed some parts of drama. In different occasions, they show us that FL finds out that ML has a kind heart and deep down is a good person. The persimmon tree, confrontation with the doctor, helping the girl hold justice for her bf, his cooking for the staff when his vet friend came, and many other ones in which he became a part of Team Genie. And how does the hair-pulling shows attraction? It was just a funny moment.
