Personally, I find it more interesting with only one wife/husband. Either way of harem or reverse harem makes it boring because too many relationships make it like all of them are fake. Writers trying to prove FL/ML's qualities by the admiration/love of multiple male/female characters just lack the ability to demonstrate the character's merits, so they concede to this cliche.

I love her acting. She is able to express so many expressions. She is very detailed in her facial expressions and even her posture and hand movements. After watching her in Love in Han Yuan, I think my next dramas to watch would be all the ones that she is the main lead in them. Also, she is so pretty. This is the single only drama that I hoped they completely removed the romance of main lead from the story. However, we have a love triangle between the elders, more like recalling an old sad romance story. I liked that one very much, if you can call it romance.
The romance is absolutely not a happy ending. The overall feel of the ending is bittersweet. There indeed happens good things with good results at the end, not the life of the main lead would be sad.

Second, not all parts of a drama or story are needed. I don't understand why people say they don't NEED to ADD romance. Yes. A lot of elements aren't needed. Friendship, family, drama, angst, jealousy, rivalry, and romance none of them are needed in a drama, there just add more value to it. Romance is not ADDED to the drama, it is a natural part of it, it is a natural part of life. I don't think romance is the focus of this drama. Till the episodes that are released so far, the romance is just a side story. You don't even see the leads very much together on the screen. I think it is actually very slow.

Actually Jisoo wasn't bad in Snowdrop. I personally think she could be a better actor than a singer. But yeah, you are right. She is not the same level as PEB. They are not even comparable.
It is unbelievable how low the rating of this drama is on MDL. It is a very good drama. One of my favorite dramas I haven't found anything comparable to it. Try it, and wait for ML's character development. You won't get disappointed.
