gosh i just read the original story's review, dang it I loved the first 2 episodes but I'm soooo not gonna keep watching this i mean they are real siblings for f*cks sake, as good as the story is I just can't watch them fall in love and root for them while knowing that fact * sigh *
I haven't watched the first one. Was it good? As good as ten miles of peach blossoms?
it's like a guilty pleasure, plot and lines are written poorly yet the main leads just make it work, it is so stupid that it feels sad at some points but most of the time I was having too much fun to notice it
female lead is a total badass and a girl crush which are the sole saving graces of this drama, such an awesome female lead is wasted on such a whiny stupid prince(he is quite the hateful type for a male lead that's for sure )
I love how both of them were so far from perfect, at one point I even hated them for different reasons and still came to love them afterall, I've dropped many dramas this year yet this one was one of the few that kept it's quality from start to very end
i kinda agree but in episode 6 he finally realizes his wrongs, they show us why his wife became like thatp.s.…
no one is applauding him, actually as unfair as it sounds i was siding with woojin from the very start, my point was the story itself revolves around Joo Hyuk's decisions, regrets and feelings, it's his journey despite how much it sucks
p.s. has it not been Jisung playing him I wouldn't even bother myself with this type of drama at all, wishy washy male leads like Joo Hyuk are the worst
Main lead is total loser in both timelines. In both marriages he is terrible husband. In workplace he is quite…
i kinda agree but in episode 6 he finally realizes his wrongs, they show us why his wife became like that
p.s. i didn't care much for han ji min's acting before but in this drama the switch between her being the wife and woo jin is really drastic, idk she just pulls me in
this was wonderful and that's it, just go ahead and watch this masterpiece asap cause any explanation falls short, for me it's a drama up there along with Signal and Secret Forest
Great chemistry for sure. But it just feels like I've seen tons of dramas like this before.Rich Guy tries to make…
this one is a really well done cliche and the dynamics between the characters makes this such a gem, he is a narcissist but he isn't nauseating mean and broody bad boy type, he is like a 5 year old learning how to be mindful towards his first crush yet he can be such a serious person when it is needed as for miso, she is such a savage sweetheart, she is aware all the bullshit about young joon and ain't a pushover by no means, she is a total pro at her job since they both are toddlers when it comes to love it is such a delight to watch them struggle around it
the poor 2nd lead syndrome, i freaking hate how 2nd leads victimize themselves, you are not a nice guy if you were expecting her love while doing favors, she ain't into you boy, just get over with it and you can always be friends if you are that nice -_-
or the rich girl is always a b*tch plot is just ugh, girl gotta get herself a man if she wants a happy ending and let's not forget how her low self esteem is boosted after getting 2 hot guys fighting for her affection(well that would be a good for anyone's ego if the situation was remotely realistic in any sense)
medical dramas are most of the time sub plots for romance and law related ones too, if it's a revenge drama you have to have your inhuman evil characters who has no reason for what s/he does after when the drama becomes too long for it's own good, the list goes on and on
so far i've learned to ignore stupid stuff and apprecriate them for what they are, as long as the plot is good and the leads are progressive and don't turn into some stupid love puppies after meeting a guy/girl i'm cool with some dramatic falls that turn into kisses
afterall there are fast food kinda dramas as well as hearty home meals and proper restaurant dishes and unforgettable 5 star ones, at the end they all have their own beauty and charms
i guess they intended to gather sympathy for the father in court but i have none for him, had he shown sincerity…
i've seen the ending all right, which part of my comment suggests that i didn't ?
"the father has issues like most of humans" this was my point exactly, he has issues that can't be overlooked by couple of light hearted jokes and him being a blood donor(which he is quite irresponsible by being inebriated most of the time)
anyways, everyone has different opinions and i love this drama as a whole, in fact the last episode won back all the brownie points back for me but in ep 7 i wasn't okay how they downplayed bareun's hardships with his father(they almost made him into a bad son for not knowing his father's "inner/hidden self" , as if all of those years was his misunderstanding )
is this very law ish? I mean is there a lot of court room scenes and legal talk??
plot is more about human to human interactions rather than being filled with legal explanations, it's approach to law is quite light hearted when it comes to terms despite law being the main focus i would rather call it's genre slice of life + family + romance + comedy
i have a huge rant for the ep 7, they were trying to pull viewers heartstrings yet it was such a bs way to do…
i guess they intended to gather sympathy for the father in court but i have none for him, had he shown sincerity for his own children when it was due, who knows maybe they wouldn't turn out this way
i agree with boreum " those without ability should not try to look after others" you can share what is in your pocket but loaning from others so that can you share with everyone isn't out of your goodness, it is called being selfish and that greed eventually hurts the people you are the closest, it is being ungrateful to those people when you ignore their hardships and choose to help strangers in the expense of them
boreun's father is such a trash and no matter how many scenes they show us him caring about boreum can not change the fact that he was irresponsible
as for oh reum, she was lucky to got a new family after such a hard ordeal but not everyone is as blessed
ps. i wonder how boreun's father can donate that much blood while being drunk most of the time -_- "Please avoid smoking on the day before donating. You can smoke 3 hours after donation. You will not be eligible to donate blood if you have consumed alcohol 48 hours before donation." he is keeping an extra battery for emergency calls for blood donation but he isn't eligible to do so most of the time, what a joke
aesthetics of this drama was truly pleasing to the eye, editing was smooth too, first 4 episodes was just perfect, emotional, intriguing, fast paced but that's as far as my compliments can go cause writer just messed up perfectly good plot and chacaracters, after 4 eps each and every character became lack luster *sigh *
there was no emotional pull between the team, when one of them was kidnapped they couldn't be more chill about it, there was no back story nor connection enough for viewer to care about characters' well being (unlike the first 4 eps)
anyways it seems writer wanted to squeeze everything into 20 episodes without enough character development so we've got this mess in the end
ps. i dropped it somewhere over half mark, even gorgeousness of moon chae won and lee jun ki couldn't make me complete this
The epilogue in the Parallel episode is better but still unsatisfying, stupid open ending, THEY DESERVED A FULL…
imo it's not a double ending, unlike the other parallel episodes this was continuation of the 10th ep directly in the world where otaro is alive so it's an epilogue
i mean they are real siblings for f*cks sake, as good as the story is I just can't watch them fall in love and root for them while knowing that fact * sigh *

main lead dies but not before saving his sister with the needed organ transplant
my point was the story itself revolves around Joo Hyuk's decisions, regrets and feelings, it's his journey despite how much it sucks
