No. It's not confirmed. There is a rumor that Tencent will air one of its high profile shows with two male leads. Now there's an appendix rumor that if they decide to really do so, the premiere announcement will come some time between august 16th and 20th.

I wasn't that devastated to be honest. My expectations were pretty low. We know how it is by now.

CFY's schedule for August was released and he is too busy to also be promoting a show.

I think so too. I think Iqiyi grabbed this because they knew it had a big following so it was a good move profit-wise but they aren't passionate about it so they are not really working too hard on it actually. I think the casting took so long because there was some issue there too. Just like the rest of it. I was excited before but now I'm just bitterly watching it fall apart. I'm sad. I also feel a little sorry for the actors. They are at the start of their careers, hope this doesn't go feet up and ruin their future prospects, whatever they may be.

She is biased but to be fair, she always says it's her opinion and not trying to pretend it's objective.
That said, I don’t get her obsession with WOH. I really liked that show but it had a ton of flaws and yet she always talks about it as if it's perfection. A bit weird.
As for her alleged bias towards hyx, I think she just didn't like 2ha maybe! That's fine. A lot of people hate 2ha for one reason or another.

yeah, I don't really like it when characters turn into kids either. Although I love Xia Sini, the arc was such a drag to get through!

I did see it and that's honestly what made me a bit hopeful that the show might come out soon. one of LYX's birthday wishes also extensively mentioned him playing CWN and how they have this saying on set "where there is Shizun, there is a way." (omg so cute!!!!) because LYX worked very hard and had a lot of energy and pushed everyone to go on even at hard times too.
The fact that they keep mentioning the show makes me wonder if we're getting close to airing date.

Woh didn't require a lot of cgi. It was wuxia. Xianxia is fantasy and has a lot of fantastical elements and if the budget is low, it will be really bad.

League of noblemen is coming out? I've heard that one isn't even bl really and the writer disapproves of the production anyway.
